    Week 4 Official F.u. Handouts.....

FU to Schaub. You pick TODAY to go off against me, after focking me all last year, but you don't even have the decency to give me a reach-around and throw a few to A. Johnson? FU to Brian Griese (who I started in place of Eli on bye). Your pick six, to go with your 3 total picks, along with the fact that my opponent started the GB defense was the difference in my big $$ league game today. Honorary mention FU goes to A. Bryant (although not really his fault, see Griese, above). FOCK!!
  2. All have significant upside if the starter in front of them goes down (LT2, ADP, Lynch). ADP and LT2 may battle injury all year long, and Lynch runs so hard he could easily be injured at any moment as well.

    1 Quarter Left

Need this win tonight. Big time. Fling that rock around Favre, INTs be damned, and take a deep shot to the guy that you allegedly developed all of that chemistry with in pre-season

The Chad Henne Era has begun in MIA

I'm worried, as a Kitna (and former Brady owner), that the same thing will happen and the Lion's will want to see what they have in Stanton. Fock
  16. I drafted Ted Ginn Jr as my 4th WR in a league where you start 3WR. I drafted Ginn ahead of a lot of more "established" receivers because he is the #1WR, albeit on a bad offense, and because my team rewards individual pts for kick returns and punt returns. About 5 years ago I owned D Mason when he did the same thing and he ended being a top-5 reciever in my league's format. But Mason was also a legit WR on a pretty good TN team, whereas Ginn Jr. has yet to prove he can be a legit starting receiving threat in the NFL. The other caveat is that my league is a TD heavy league, and I worry that he won't score many receiving TDs. I'm considering starting Ginn Jr. EVERY GAME due to the consistent pts he should generate from the return game, and playing the match-ups with with my other 3 guys - Megatron, Holt and Cotchery. For example, I'm considering sitting Holt this weekend in Phill bc I love CJ and Cotchery this week. But it's tough to sit Holt bc the guy scores a lot ot TDs. What are your thoughts fellow posters? Not asking for whether I should start him this week, just wondering what your thoughts are for the entire season. Not a lot of guys anymore who are starting skill position players that also star in the return game. Burleson is not returning punts this year, etc. MJD returns kicks which actually makes him even more valuable in my league.

Ted Ginn Jr: in a league that gives pts for KR/PR

Yeah, I was hella pissed when the Jet's kicked off to open the game and Bess, not Ginn, was back there returning the kick. Then, the Phins used 3 other guys to return kicks, and never used Ginn. I suppose that they don't want to risk injury to their "#1" WR, but, since he is pretty much useless as a receiver, what's the harm? I want to outright drop Ginn Jr., but, I'm sure that if I do he will start returning kicks again. At any rate, I wish that I had seen something, anything, that might have suggested that Ginn would not be handling KR duties this year. ARGH

    Brady still consensus #1 QB?

I play in an extremely QB-heavy league (start 2 QB and pt system favors QBs as well). I have the #2 overall pick and assumed that Brady would go #1 overall and that I would take LT2. With news of Brady's injury, I'm sure that LT2 will go #1 overall. Thus, I am left to wonder if I should: 1) Gamble and go with Brady #2 overall 2) Play it "safe" and go with Romo or Brees 3) Take a different gamble and take P. Manning, or 4) Take A. Peterson and see what I can get for my 2 starting QBs in rounds 2 and 3 (something like 2 of the following: Garrard, E. Manning, Rivers, Delhomme, Bulger) What do ya'll think? My draft is in less than 2 hours!

    Brady still consensus #1 QB?

I'm gonna go with AP and then gamble on Warner finishing as a top 10 QB this year with those weapons at WR and playing in the NFC West. Warner and maybe Eli or Kitna
  20. After I plugged in the point scoring system for my leagues IDP, Wilson was projected as the highest scoring DB. I know that he went on the IR last season with a heel injury, but is he still hurt? Can't find any info regarding his health anywhere. Any info from homers would be much appreciated.
  21. 12 team re-draft league, snake draft, order randomly selected 30 min prior to draft. So, no spot to work from, just would like thoughts on how you would approach the draft (RB-RB, RB-QB, etc, etc). 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, 1WR/RB, 1WR/TE, DEF, DL, LB, DB, K. 7 pts for ALL TDs 1pt for every 10yds regardless of position 1pt per completion 1pt per rush attempt 1pt per reception -3pt for int -2pt for lost fumble. 1pt for every return yard (so, DBs and starting WRs/RBs that participate in the return game have great value) Defensive pts pretty standard From last season, QBs scored the most, RBs right behind that, and WRs significantly less. I realize that what really matters is the difference between 1-10 at each position, or thereabouts, so I'm wondering what combos y'all think would be best to have. Also, since we have to start 3WRs, even though they score fewer pts, it seems like it might be smart to take a stud early (Moss, Owens, Wayne). What do y'all think?
  22. So, I took Brady with the #2 pick and really like the way things fell. Too many guys took WRs in the late 1st/early 2nd, and so Lynch fell to me with my #2 pick. I decided to not fall in love with return yardage guys, because you really never know, and my team ended up looking like this. Bottom line is I like Brady/Lynch better than I would have liked AP/Palmer. My wideouts are weakish, but I like playing a RB in the WR/RB flex so I like my RB depth. Brady (Rogers as backup) Lynch L White E Graham K Smith R Williams A Johnson D. Driver Galloway V Davis LJ Smith Balt D Indy D Longwell D Ryans J Beason J Peppers A Kampman A Wilson K Rhodes Whaddya think?
  23. So I just found out that I have the #2 pick. Assuming LT2 goes first, you would take Brady/Manning over AP? Do the knee/foot injuries not scare anyone the way the scare me?
  24. Sorry, I meant to say that it is: 1pt for every 15 return yards. So, a 90 yard kick return would be worth 13pts. That's still hella points
