    Bernard Pierce

Last 2 weeks his longest runs have been longer than Forsett's. The only reason his YPC is lower is b/c he's getting the GL carries, giving you a maximum potential of a 3 yard run or less. I'm not saying he's Adrian Peterson, I'm just saying he's not a plodder and you can count on him for runs of 10+ yards, giving him more upside and chances to overtake his competition for carries in Forsett. Of course Taliaferro is a work in progress, but operates in a better offense than a guy like McKinnon (who IS more of a big play threat) and is running behind a better o-line.

Calling it now, Montee Ball a bust.

Been trying to trade him in both leagues I own him for a whole host of different positions; fellow RBs, TEs, WRs. Dont get carried away though, he will get his TDs to make up for the 60 yards rushing less per game than other top 15 backs. I place high value on getting wins NOW due to the high volatility/injuries in the NFL, and his upcoming schedule is the worst for RBs.

++ UPDATE: Calvin Johnson Active ++

Main worry is DET, Mega, and Caldwell being so sneaky about his inability to even play at a reasonably high level, who's to say they won't do it again. Plus, how many times have we seen injured WRs reaggravate and check out of the game by the 2nd quarter. At least Gronk told us he'd be on a snap count. Fantasy this yr is all about not getting less than 5 points from each position. Benching him in favor of Cruz.

NE has 2nd ranked pass D and 25th rush D.

Forsett is undervalued, but Taliaferro even more. Most improved o-line, Forsett is one of the most consistent RB2s, but Taliaferro is a pounder AND big play threat, and every team wants an RB like that. More upside in re-drafts than a Jerick McKinnon going forward. Pierce? He done.

    Whose your favorite RB stash?

    Taliaferro. Crowell.

    Austin Davis this week

picked him as my sleeper before he was even named starter this week. underrated real-life qb and has great matchup, PHI D is great for opposing QBs.
  8. Bengals DST are available in your league? They're tops in multiple categories and just wait til Vontaze Burfict comes back they could be about equal to Andre Ellington.
  9. Apparently McKinnon was good at recognizing and picking up the blitz on Sunday according to the film. I'm sold.

Start a QB to cancel out opposing WR's

Tanatastic: Let's say you have a 20 point lead over your opponent, with you having 3 players left to play, 2 WRs and 1 QB, and he has 2 who are both WRs. His remaining players are locked in, he has T.Y. Hilton, and Reggie Wayne. You have comparable WRs. At QB you have the option of starting Luck or P. Manning, and based on the matchups you think Manning will produce slightly better. In this case, you will get more wins in the long run if you start Luck, even if you think he will do worse. It's basically like buying win insurance.

Patterson got outsnapped by Jennings last week. Guy's not #1 WR on his team.

breakout WR for rest of season

Why does everyone I listen to keep disregarding Hurns' output as a fluke each and every week?

Start a QB to cancel out opposing WR's

This^. The exception is in a case where it's in a later game and you already have a huge lead, then you can limit variance (luck) and play your other viable QB who has your opponents' weapons covered in order to offset a potential comeback by him.

Going Forward: C Palmer or K Cousins?

Cousins could be a Folesian type guy where he isn't a top QB talent, and is highly erratic, but will put up numbers based on the system and offensive weapons. SEA pass D only 12th this year, might have the balls to roll w/ Cousins at home on Monday night.

++ UPDATE: Calvin Johnson Active ++

I know this sounds like I'm talking out of my ass, but as an athlete, I can say he won't be 90% for at least another week (from today, approximately). It's up to you how healthy Megatron needs to be to be in your lineup. I'd say 85%.

I'm Benching Montee Ball for _____________

He has the worst upcoming schedule for RBs too

Chime in on the Bishop Sankey, Titans fans.

    Does he get GL carries?

Going Forward: C Palmer or K Cousins?

If I'm stuck between those 2 QBs I might go with BOTH, b/c you're obviously desperate at QB (if a 1 QB league) and if you miss, the other could become a surprise serviceable QB1 going forward (it IS only week 4) and you'd be taking a major roster blow at QB missing out.

Going Forward: C Palmer or K Cousins?

Cousins was hugely overrated after his 420 yard performance and is now equally underrated after his 4 INT performance. I don't want to make the same mistake of dropping a serviceable starter like when I did when I dropped Rivers and got stuck w/ Cousins. I think I'll keep Cousins and maybe carry 2 QBs. I'm inclined to even start him at home against SEA off 10 days rest. SEA has not been lights out against the pass or opposing QBs, especially on the road. When the Chargers handled them at home, they employed Danny Woodhead as a key part of their gameplan, so maybe Helu will get some more designed plays and Cousins can maybe throw 2-3 TDs against SEA tough run D.
  20. I drafted my guy Phillip Rivers, then tried to play the old 54-man roster trick by cutting him before the Seattle game. Whoops. I'm solid at RB and WR but am now stuck with Kirk Cousins and/or playing the matchups with the Teddy Bridgewaters and Carson Palmers of the world. Should I try to get cute and just play the matchups, or commit to trading for a low-end every week starter and stick w/ him every week? Never been in this marginal position before.
  21. Well idk I might just have the balls to leave Kirk Cousins in now against SEA to prove all ya'll wrong!

    Steve smith potentially #1

Just put together that Torrey Smith has had 98 yards of accepted DPI against him spread out evenly through all 4 games and Steve Smith has had none. Seeing as how these don't count as targets, and the two were already close in targets going into last week's game I DEFINITELY see an increase in Torrey Smith's production.

    Steve smith potentially #1

Baltimore o-line has allowed second fewest sacks w/ only 3. And the run game is averaging 4.9 yards/carry with the BAL RBs having the 3rd most yards gained between 5 and 10 yards from the line of scrimmage and 4th most yards gained beyond 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.

    Flacco - Week 5 & ROS

Guy's never had more than 4,000 yards or 25 TDs in a season. BAL's offensive line "power success" is very good, meaning successful TD runs which takes away some short TD pass opportunities. I'm in the same boat though debating picking him up, would starting him every week really be better than playing the matchups with the Bridgewaters and Carson Palmers though?
