  1. We've had a few owners disappear on us since spring. Looking for new owners to fill these spots. Rookie/Free Agent drafts will begin shortly after each league fills. These drafts will be slow drafts and will last from 3-7 rounds. Website: http://lffj01.proboards.com/ e-mail: hamilton320@hotmail.com Available teams can be found in 'Training Camp' - 'Tryouts' - 'Available Teams' Currently running 6 leagues. Owners are able to have 1 team in each league if they wish. Also, there is a 7th league in the process of forming. This will be a new league and will begin drafting shortly after it fills. Draft will likely be an automated style draft with owners sending in draft lists and players being sorted using owners lists and draft order. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. hamilton320@hotmail.com http://lffj01.proboards.com/
  2. Response was strong enough for the abandoned teams, that we're now looking to add another league, maybe more.
  3. Looking for active owners for newly forming dynasty leagues. A few basics about the leagues... Scoring summary touchdowns = 6 pts field goals = 3 pts 2 pt conversion = 2 pts any score of 50 yds or greater get double points. (example, 50 yd touchdown = 12 pts. 3 pts for each 50 yds of rushing or receiving or 100 yds passing. another 3 pts for each 100 yds of rushing or receiving or 200 yds passing. example, 100 yds rushing gets a total of 6 pts (3 pts at 50 + another 3 pts at 100) 16 game season with double scheduling during the last two weeks of the fantasy regular season. 3 tiers of playoffs systems: 1) Your league 2) Your Union (3 leagues playing against each other) 3) Alliance (All teams in all leagues) All league activity takes place on our own site. Some things can be handled by e-mail as well. We do NOT use a third party site like Yahoo, ESPN, Fleaflicker, etc. While we welcome anybody that is interested in playing, there are minimum requirements for owners to continue playing. Inactive owners are replaced fairly quickly. Minimum requirements are such things as turning in a lineup each and every week and making draft picks when it's your turn. The offseason drafts are slow drafts with each team getting about 1-2 days to make their selection. Starting lineups are required to be turned in each week during the season, even if no changes are made from previous weeks. I've been running fantasy football leagues since 1983. I have operated at least one fantasy football league every year since. I started operating leagues online in 2001. We're accepting owners of all experience levels. The only requirement we ask is that you be active. Again, inactive owners are replaced fairly quickly. Please check out our rulebook for more details on league operation. http://lffj01.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rulebook If you have any questions please reply to this post or e-mail me at hamilton320@hotmail.com . If you are sure you want to join, head over to http://lffj01.proboards.com/ and follow the instructions in the 'Tryouts - Waiting List.' We already have 6 leagues that are full. We are currently looking for owners for new leagues. EDIT: Changed the ad from 'looking to fill abandoned teams' to 'looking to fill new leagues'.
  4. Looking for two more owners to fill a new league. If interested, please contact me quickly as our deadline for forming new leagues is approaching. Rules link http://lffj01.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rulebook contact me hamilton320@yahoo.com league link http://lffj01.proboards.com/ Thank you
  5. We will be forming at least 6 new leagues this weekend (5/9/09). If there is still enough interest after this weekend, other leagues could be formed as well. Drafts will be starting mid-May to mid-June. No league will form after June 1st. If you are interested, let me know as soon as you can to ensure you get in on the beginning of one of these leagues. Rules can be found at http://lffj01.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rulebook If you have any questions, feel free to reply to this thread or e-mail me at hamilton320@yahoo.com http://lffj01.proboards.com/
  6. We could still use a few more owners. We already have enough for 3 new start up leagues this year and we're real close to having enough for a 4th. We will begin drafting sometime between mid-May and mid-June. Hope to hear from you soon.
  7. Looking for active owners for new dynasty leagues. A few basics... Scoring is primarily touchdown based with some yardage bonuses. Double scheduling during most of the season. 3 tiers of playoffs systems: 1) Your league 2) Your Union (group of 4 leagues) 3) Alliance (All leagues) All league activity takes place on our own site. Some things can be handled by e-mail as well. We do NOT use Yahoo, ESPN, Fleaflicker, etc. There are minimum requirements for owners to continue playing. Inactive owners are replaced fairly quickly. Minimum requirements are such things as turning in a lineup each and every week and making draft picks when it's your turn. Nothing out of the ordinary, just things that are needed to keep the league going. I've been running fantasy football leagues since 1983. Anybody interested will now be placed on the waiting list. Waiting lists requests can be filled anytime between now and next season depending on need. Thank you for your interest.

Who is the Denver back to own ?

None of the above. Denver has been plagued by the RBBC syndrome for the last year or so and the new coach comes from a system that was even worse. I see a multitude of backs being used, but in such a manner that fantasy owners will have no way of predicting which back will be the better start from week to week. Overall, the production from the RB's should be good, but the top Denver RB may only be about a 3rd option fantasy back when the season is over. Skill wise, I think the best RB is Hillis, but I'm not sure how he'll be used this year, if he gets used. I heard rumors a couple of weeks back that McDaniels had put him, Young, and Torain on the trade block. Those rumors disappeared when the Cutler situation escalated and I've been waiting to see if they pick back up now that that situation is resolved. I'm a Broncos fan, but I plan to stay away from Broncos RB's this year. If I did take any Denver RB this year, it would be Hillis, especially if he ends up on another team.
