I'd play MSW in a standard scoring league; Amendola still hasn't found the endzone, although he leads the league in red zone targets. JAX plays much better at home, and you gotta think they'll be a little amped up for Monday Night Football. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=373623

I really don't like that trade for you. Rivers has been playing lights out and should continue to do so with Antonio Gates being basically unguardable. Schaub hasn't lived up to the hype thus far, and I can't see that changing much with the emergence of Arian Foster and a semi-successful ground attack. Also, I'd almost rather have McCoy over MJD...especially in a PPR format; Jacksonville just isn't that good.

I'm off to a slow 1-4 start and can't seem to pick the right lineup EVER. The league is a 12 team PPR, I'm currently sitting in 9th. League allows for 1 QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 WR/RB; and here's my roster: QB: Flacco RB: Turner, Mathews, Lynch WR: Welker, Bowe, T.O. (Bye), Amendola, Bess, Murphy, Branch, Meachem TE: Cooley Thanks in advance for the help. I'll be sure to return the favor if you leave a link to your topic.

Team B wins either way, just by more if you can give up Brown instead of Forte.
-
Leon Washington, easy. All of the WR's are kind of sketchy...but I think Britt and Massaquoi have the most upside going forward.

I agree that the deal is fairly even. I think it's really gonna come down to team needs. Sims-Walker is starting to enter WR1 territory, while I think Manningham will continue to be inconsistent for all the reasons you stated. Plus NYG has seen the worst pass defenses in the league the first 4 weeks. While Sproles is electric, he's far from an every down back. Additionally, he's been virtually eliminated in the running game against good defenses (ie. Ravens/Steelers). However, the Chargers do have a nice schedule the rest of the way. I just see Sproles' value being higher in a PPR league. Moreno is getting more involved, but I still think Buckhalter steals a few carries when he's healthy. I'd rather have Slaton even though he's underperformed in the first quarter of the season.

WTS: Steve Smith (CAR) or Sims-Walker
Mr. Thanksgiving replied to fostersfutbol's topic in A Little Help!
I think I go with Sims-Walker based on the matchup, but I wouldn't be surprised if Smith had a good game. -
I'd do it. DeSean Jackson has put up nice numbers, but he's bound to slow down in the 2nd have. Steve Smith has been unimpressive as of late, but he was a preseason WR1 for a reason.

I'm struggling with the same decision. I'm curious to know how many RB's you start. I think I'm starting Jackson and Coffee, but I have Jerome Harrison on the bench. If I were you I think I'd start Jackson over Coffee because he's a bonafide stud. Plus, I wasn't all that impressed last week with Coffee against the Rams last week. Atlanta's D has to be better than the Rams and Coffee didn't put spectacular numbers.
-
I have to agree with the other posters. I have Sims-Walker and love him, but I wouldn't trade PT for him if I had him. I also agree that you need a WR2, but that's too high of a price. I'd counter with a lesser RB for him, or some combination of a lesser RB and a WR for instance (Wells/Jackson & Harvin/Cotchery). I'd also hold on to Nate Washington because it looks like he's starting to become the #1 in Tennessee with a TD in each of the last 3. Tennessee's secondary is in shambles and they're gonna have to throw alot more than they did last year if they're gonna be playing from behind.

DJax and Portis for Forte and Manningham
Mr. Thanksgiving replied to McNabb5's topic in A Little Help!
I don't do this deal. Forte is a top 5 RB, Portis will be lucky to be top 20. Additionally, since this is a keeper league I'd make sure I held on to Forte after the season. He's only in his 2nd year, and Portis is steadily approaching the end of the road in terms of fantasy value. Also, for the life of me, I don't understand why people keep 2 TE's on their roster after the bye week. I think it's safe to drop Goodson and Winslow. I agree that you need help at WR, but I think that trade is too steep of a price. Not to mention the fact that Celek and Boldin are every week starts, now that their bye weeks are over. I'm not in love with T.O. at this point, and I think it gets worse with the Buffalo weather. The passing game is already anemic and Trent Edwards can't get him the ball now, that leaves even less hope once the snow starts to fall. Plus T.O. can't catch a dry ball, there's no reason to think he'll be able to haul in a wet/frozen one. Manningham should sustain a little value with teams likely to devote more attention to Steve Smith due to his hot start. All in all, I think you only need 1 WR...so pursue a trade that would require less or hold on to what you've got. -
DMAC sucks...and he's out 2-4 weeks with a gimpy knee
Mr. Thanksgiving replied to BigMilk's topic in A Little Help!
Mendenhall, Sims-Walker, Harrison (in that order) -
Of those options, I'd probably go with Nate Washington.

Jerome Harrison vs Jonathan Stewart going forward?
Mr. Thanksgiving replied to HTH's topic in A Little Help!
I'd go with Harrison also. Success is all about opportunity, and Harrison is likely to see more touches than Stewart unless Williams goes down. -
I'm not high on him, but he's a fine flex option.
