x 2 He is not going to be a great play this week regardless of health... sit him and let him come back at 100%.

Tell me again why Dallas let T.O. go?

I tried to point out the same thing back on page 1. The bottom line is that nobody cares about "stats"or "hard data"on the original topic.... those just tend to get in the way of a good TO argument.

    Raiders better grab Garcia!

unpossible... that would actually be a good football decision which is obviously not one of their organizational priorities
  5. That was un-dirtyword-believable... running the ball down their throats and then pull that crap. Just punch it in or at least try it once for crying out loud.

Tell me again why Dallas let T.O. go?

I'm not arguing the "ass-iness" or "ass-hood" of TO. I don't think the OP's point about the offense being terrible is accurrate. It is not a high powered aerial assualt, but it is quite productive (even without TO). I have many more concerns about the defense than the offense based on the 3 games thus far.

Tell me again why Dallas let T.O. go?

Cowboys offense is fine w/out TO. They are ranked 3rd in total offense through 3 games. The biggest difference is that they are running the ball more effectively. (1st by a good margin in rushing offense and middle of the pack in passing) They are running a ton of 2 TE sets and employing a more balanced attack. It's not as flashy as the last few years, but it is every bit as effective thus far. Will it hold up? I don't know, but would like to find out.

Anyone Else's team turning into a M.A.S.H. unit?

In one league, I drafted Gore/LT at the turn and followed that up with Welker/Bowe when it came back around. also McNabb in the 5th. I'm awesome.

WRs that will plummet in swirling flames.

If anyone knows about this subject, it is david boston. Gotta give more than 1 name to have "WRs that wil plummet..."

    No Raiders are worth playing

It really is quite pathetic. There are some very talented players rotting in this hell-hole of an offense. I can not understand why they let Garthia go. It's a shame. They would be 2-1 with any kind of average QB play. I feel bad for Raider fans... no one deserves this kind of inept leadership / management.

    I'm so confused ...

Thanks for the information... well noted. Please take it back to the geek board and take your aliai with you.

    Donnie Avery

I beleive the technical explanation for his lack of production is that the Rams "suck a bag of donkey d!cks" ur welcome
  14. Agree with KingofBeer... bragging about how many aliai you have is not (or more correctly should not) be a point of pride. It is sad and pathetic really. But feel free to keep the midset that you are dominating this life. Feel bad for Cara Has pretend friends and no life Obesity kills

The week of the question mark....

In one of my leagues, my WRs consist of Welker, Bowe, D Jax, Walter, and Harvin. I'm screwed. (rats ass - I know) Hope you lineup is in better shape than mine.

    Tony Dorsett blasts Romo

I understand why a lot of people don't like Romo. He has become a celebrity QB despite never having won a playoff game. Part of it is the team he plays for. Lots of people follow the cowboys.... lots of people despise them. The franchise owner makes it a point to keep media focus/coverage on the team and will push them into a national spotlight at every available chance. I love that JJ wants to win badly, but he needs to shut his pie hole from time to time. Romo has also sought out a fair amount of attention by choosing to run in Hollywood social circles. As a fan, I don't care for this attribute bit. Dallas fans thought they had a savior when he burst on the scene and some still violently oppose and derogatory statement about him. I can see how that irks people/fans in other markets. Blind, ill advised, and many time unintelligent defenses will breed contempt. On the other hand... I can understand why Dallas fans latched on to Romo instantly. Just look at the stir fried crap that the cowboys have rolled out at QB since Aikman retired: Quincy "trax" Carter, Anthony Wright, Ryan "the suck" Leaf, Clint Stoerner, Chad Hutchinson, Vinny "farts dust" Testaverde, Drew "where's my glove?'' Henson, and Drew "the statue" Bledsoe. That's a freaking "who's who?" list of garbage QBs. No wonder we got excited when someone showed a little talent and play making ability. Although he is better than the last 10 years of QBs, most Dallas fans need to chill out. Romo is a good QB who has demonstrated a pattern of folding in big games. The only successful high pressure game I can recall was 2 years ago against Green Bay for top seed in the NFC late in the season. Other than that, he has been mediocre to poor. I hope he breaks this pattern, but am not holding my breath.

    Wes Welker Update?

Thanks a lot.... I just spit coffee on my keyboard. I blame the Eagles and am going to invoice Andy Reid for a new laptop.
  18. I think its time to take a step back and recognize that we are in the presence of greatness. Never has a bolder claim been made than Player X will not finish as the 2nd or 3rd best fantasy player overall to justify his ADP. Furthermore... never has someone been proven right so early in the season. Let's face it... after this horrendous start, Forte could rush for 500 yards and 6 TDs per game and never crack the top 8 - 12 fantasy players. Guys - we have all be officially pwned. Nothing left to do but eat some humble pie. I never thought it would happen, but Cara >>>>>>>>> The Soilost. I know I could never match this display of sheer brilliance, but here's my feeble attempt to match, nay - come close to humbly approaching, the utter prognosticating dominance we have witnessed. There is no way on earth Santana Moss finishes the season as the 5th - 6th ranked WR in my PPR league. You can take it to the BANK!!!!!! I have given a partial list of reasons below and we will be back to rub all of your dirty little noses in it tomorrow (when I am proven to be right). He is short. He does not play O-Line. His socks are too long. He likes Fifty Cent too much. He runs too fast and the helmet makes him look like a bobble head. I don't care for his hair style and he generally does not score well on Tuesdays. Cara has taken dumps bigger than him. Futhermore, he does not play in the eastern most team of the NFC East - which is never a good thing. He also chose a stupid jersey number. Albert Haynesworth will almost certainly limit his red zone targets. There's plenty more where this came from.
  19. Yes - very familiar with this problem. Mostly due to 1st hand experience.... with this board playing the part of "the league" and you.

    when do you start panicking?

Most people around here begin to panic mid 2nd quarter of Week 1. Just revisit some of the awesome threads.... "Carolina homers: Is steve smith playing? Did he get hurt?" "Anyone watching the niners game? What happened to Frank Gore.... 23 yards!!! What gives???!!!" "Why is Palmer not throwing to ocho cinco?" If you havent turned over 80% of your roster by now, then you are not trying to win.

    Rank these waiver wire WR

I like Robinson to have steady, but unspectacular production as long as Bulger remains healthy. I'm not as high on Sims-Walker as some of the others. Just can't wrap my mind around the #2 in Jacksonville being worthy of a start on a semi-consistent basis. Knox is an interesting character. I think he is higher risk, but also has the highest ceiling. He may disappear over the next few weeks or he may turn into a poor man's '08 Eddie Royal.

    I had a 10 team draft...

unpossible he is probably leading the league in scoring again... I think they award some hefty bonus pts for injuries and DNPs.

    Patriots Fans

Peyton Manning's head and torso are way too big for his arms and legs. He kind of looks like a potato head with some sort of genetic disorder. He also has a dumb face and stupid hair cut. I did, however, enjoy the "laser, rocket arm" commercial as well as the SNL sandlot football skit. How was that for fair and balanced?

    Any news on Westbrook?

I drafted McCoy in 3 leagues... didn't think he would pay dividends this early. I hope they sit Westy next week and let him rest through the bye.
