I enter my 5th championship in the last 6 years so Im always trying to gather as much info as i can. I squeaked by last week even with the rookie mistake of playing 2 WRs (nicks and cruz) in the same game. This week is the same question in regards to WRS and one RB decision. Pick 4: (i know, its hard to be wrong) Nicks Cruz Wallace Bryant Gronkowski Calvin Johnson Then either Kevin Smith or beanie Wells as the 3rd RB?

2 ways to look at it. backup qbs love tight ends and 3 and 4 wrs because thats who they mostly practice with; yet, losman also is smart enough to know that he knows where his bread would be buttered best and thats marshall. over under tonight is 47.5 and miami is 41.5. whole extra td to be had tonight. also what are the chances robinson is the leading wr 2 weeks in a row over 3 legitimate targets in dez, witten and austin

i always lean to the #1 guy over the # 3 or #4. even though he has been playing like a 1, outside of bush, who else does miami throw to? i would have to put my stud out there and hope for the best

After winning it all last year, and you'll see why, I will pick 8th this year in a traditional non ppr league. We franchise 2 players each year. I own Rice, Charles AND Chris Johnson. Whoever I leave out there I will lose forever, so which 2 would YOU protect?

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES. I DO LIKE RICE THIS YEAR B/C I DO FEEL HE IS GOING TO BE THE FOCAL POINT OF THAT TEAM W/ HEAP AND Mason now done. Charles and the Chiefs do face a considerably tougher schedule, and of course missing CJ2 for a few weeks could set me back farther than I'd like early in the year

thanks for your reply. It looks like Floyd is iffy, so its basically VJax or Mike Williams. I think in the end you gotta go with your stud backs and hope for the ceiling

Non ppr, pt per 10, 6 td. Start 3 Rbs and 4 wrs. RBS: CJ, Rice, Charles, LeGarrette Blount, Choice / WRs: Calvin Johnson, Nicks, Floyd, Garcon, VJax, Lloyd, and Mike Williams (TB). As you can see I have many options @ WR, but im also thinking Blount gets a couple TDs this week, and Rice has been a recent disappointment. Receivers Im leaning Calvin, NIcks, Garcon, and one of the 2 SD wrs. Depending on injury status; however i also feel that mike williams is de for a big week against a weak Det pass d. Sad to say but Lloyd is probably my 7th choice @ wr. So let me know what you think....

This is our 17th year of an 8 man league. I am 5-0 in the finals, an 11-3 record overall in the playoffs and have reached the finals again this year. looking to be only the 3rd player to achieve back to back titles. Have won numerous other 8 man leagues and Yahoo leagues (currently in finals this year as well). My first year my 1st pick in '93 was Dan Marino who happened to get knocked out for the season that season so I won the Championship w Jeff Hostetler!!! Came down to a Monday nighter with the Eagles and 49ers and John Taylor caught a long TD pass to win it for me by 1 pt. Going strong ever since!
