Trump’s association with Laura Loomer should be disqualifying in itself

Muslims have been mostly a net positive for the Detroit region, although you wouldn't know that judging by Rashida Tlaib. -

DEI is getting a new name. Can it dump the political baggage?
Voltaire replied to kilroy69's topic in The Geek Club
Leftoids will never stop being racists on their own. They have to be dragged there kicking and screaming every inch. Hopefully a few court decisions and another eight years of President Vance will put a stake through DEI's heart permanently. -
Daughter graduated from basic training on Thursday and is joining the Florida National Guard. I'm not at home, this post finds me halfway back from Fort Jackson, deep in backwoods Alabama, participating in water recreation near Lake Eufaula. I'll be finishing the return trip home tomorrow.

Voltaire replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Getting smeared by corporate left media isn't disqualifying. I don't trust anything they say without cross verifying it. That said, I have never taken the time to look up her claims to form a judgement for myself as to their validity. -

Defense Secretary Hegseth considers reversing Army ban on aggressive 'shark attack' training 🏆 LET'S GO!
Voltaire replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
I don't know when it changed but by 1989, the drill sergeants weren't allowed to touch us unless it was something like straightening a crooked ribbon on the dress greens. We were, however, frequently given an earful under the shark attack. My daughter just graduated basic training on Thursday, I should ask her about this. I'll tell you this much that shocked me. I've never seen such a filthy latrine as I did when I had to relieve myself at her barracks. Until this week, I could never have imagined basic training without scrubbing every surface area and every fixture in the place until it was spotless. Those toilets were utterly nasty. They hadn't been cleaned in weeks or longer. No restaurant would ever get a license with facilities like that. -
Whenever Gilbert Gottfried was on the Howard Stern show, it was magical and hilarious, especially their interactions with Amy Heckerling's babysitter, which I was delighted to see found its way to youtube all these years later.

Hopefully the blacklisting and censorship regimes in Hollywood continue to crumble.

They control both Broadway and the sh*thole city that hosts Broadway and this is what they do.

Next in line, we have Raving Lunatic #154. He may well be an improvement on the first 153 raving lunatics. This one likes ice cream, which is pretty reasonable. Let's give him as shot. -

Soros has had US citizenship for a very long time, which in turn allows him to do most, if not all, the things he does. As I have no evidence to the contrary, I'll presume he's aware of any lines demarking the difference between corrupt and illegal. -

I think its water too and agree the setting would have been determined by a Bukele ally if not Bukele himself. -
Epstein Suicided, Who Are They Protecting?
Voltaire replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
This Epstein situation has been handled poorly from the start of Trump's second term. I can't believe how dubious it looks to be transferring Maxwell from federal prison to a minimum security facility at this moment, during the height of when this scandal has started heating up again. -

There were Marxists around when I ws in school but they were mostly marginalized sideshow that set up a table in the student area and that was about it. They had next to no institutional power. The liberals allowed anybody in to teach, including the Marxists. Then, once the Marxists got their foot in the door and over time rose to positions of authority, they pretty much only ever hired fellow Marxists.

There were beverages served when Van Holen met with "Maryland Dad." I see coffee cups in saucers with stirring spoons, wine glasses with a clear colorless liquid, and a plastic water bottle. The setting looks like a mid-scale coffee shop. gettyimages-2210198987.jpg (1200×675) (foxnews.com) You decide what you are seeing. -

The Birds needs an ending. It's like Hitchcock ran out of budget money and said "OK, well we'll just end the movie 3/4 of the way through."

This. PBS and NPR use to have quality broadcasting which generated bipartisan support but they are unlistenable now that they have let themselves get carried away by the far left.

I see that Maryland Dad doesn't want to leave the country since he is really enjoying his time in US prison.
