I award him no points and my God have mercy on his soul.

I watched it partially anyway. At 10:57, before that was Ukraine war, Trump was asked about the tariffs with Canada and along the way with his usual remarks about getting ripped off, subsidizing Canada, and not needing Canadian stuff, went on his divergent rant about how Canada could be a great state and displeasure at the artificial line (negotiated after the War of 1812) that separates us. In other words, the facebook thing is just the same rehashed Trump on Canada talk. Also, Trump is very happy for Rutte to have this NATO job and complimentary. Rutte is likewise happy that member nations are actually paying up.

Here's the meeting. You don't need anonymous WH reporters with agendas to tell you what to think, like the OP does. You can see it for yourself and make up your own mind. Figure it out for yourselves. I likely won't have time to watch it.

Do you live here? Have you not read anything I type? You just believe any lie the media (that doesn't live here) tells you. I do live here. I talk to people here. That's the reason for this thread even exists. None of Voldemort's ads mention Trump nor do they mention that she is a Democrat. Around here, attacking Trump is the road to losing. This is not a referendum on Trump nor Musk. Trump is beloved and inspires people. He would easily win 2/3 of the votes here in an election like last time. What happened is that the Dems took the election seriously and the GOP did not. This is singularly (doubly) about Jimmy Petronas and that idiot in the other district who thought they could just cruise to a win based on the (R) next to their name, while the Dems went all out. Trump saddled us and the other district with two unknown idiots who put in no effort. Petronas would not have won the nomination except for Trump's endorsement. They are both sh*t candidates, who were caught flatfooted by the Dem media blitz. Petronas isn't from here, we know fockall about him other than 1) what Gay Voldemort tells us about him, 2) the aforementioned (R) next to his name, and 3) that we've all seen how he has made zero effort to win this seat. His opponent has blitzed the media market big time. His Democrat opponent has had free rein to run circles around him, defining both herself and him ... as he did nothing. He allowed himself to get beat up for weeks and weeks, unanswered. That's his fault. He allowed it to happen. This is not a referendum on Trump and Musk who are as popular as ever. Trump's endorsement, singularly, is the only reason Petronas gets more than zero votes. He hasn't won a single one himself because his campaign has been on radio silence mode. I heard one radio ad on Thursday and one on Friday. Nobody from that campaign nor the Republican Party has contacted me directly to get out to vote. Meanwhile Voldemort has been all over the airwaves and ads on my computer screen. You just know they're shaking the tree to get as many registered Dems to vote as they can. They have a well-oiled machine in that campaign. Better candidate, better campaign, better funding, more enthusiasm, caught GOP asleep with an anointed corpse candidate, ... that's why the Dems are looking to win these races. They wanted it way more and made the effort. As I've been telling you all along...

Trump Orders Troops In Armored Vehicles To Texas National Park
Voltaire replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
It seemed like a bad idea because when I read "National Park" I was imagining trees and streams and wildlife. Then I saw that terrain, it is barren and looks like nothing can damage it, so not a big deal. Regardless, I wouldn't think armored vehicles could accomplish anything more useful than Humvees could. I guess you can fit more people in them. Patrol with Humvees, load them up in these. -
Transgender runner blows out competition, he sets season records in girls' races at Oregon high school track meet π
Voltaire replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Sorry. the first few lines were solid but I went too far at the end. I should do better to check myself when talking to the better left- wing posters if I ever want to have a decent conversation. Thanks for calling me out and keeping me in line. -
GutterBoy Alleges That: "There Is No Logic Coming From Jordan Peterson" (Let's Explore That)
Voltaire replied to Blue Horseshoe's topic in The Geek Club
So there are women who had complications related to their abortion that organized and want to see Planned Parenthood defunded - and weepaws wanted to talk about that. Got it. Worth talking about, sure. At that point, he then decided to dig up this old thread from January about Jordan Peterson and post about it here. I'm not seeing why this thread is relevant to that topic. What I would have done is go another four pages deeper and bump up the week 12 NFL discussion thread to post about it there instead. -

Transgender runner blows out competition, he sets season records in girls' races at Oregon high school track meet π
Voltaire replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
It looks to me that even as you claim you don't support trannies in women's sports, you guys have never demonstrated any indication that it bothers you in the slightest. Further, whenever anyone suggests the competition is unfair and should be made illegal, you attack the messenger. For our part, this is electoral gold. Instead of letting sanity reign, changing the law, and putting this issue behind you for the good of female athletes, the country, and your own electoral hopes, the politicians you guys support obstruct it at every turn. So. we'll just keep ringing that bell over and over because elections are won with it. Meanwhile you can keep pretending to not be cheering on your tranny heroes and wishing we'd shut up about it. -
Good riddance to Ole Miss. Great game. Next up for Sparty is Michigan which should be the final matchup rather than an Elite Eight match up.
-
Pretty intense. The lead changing back and forth and nobody goes up more than two. Three and a half minutes left.
-
MSU first lead tonight and in the bonus the rest of the game.
-
MSU fighting back into this with 8 minutes left.

Stefanik's withdrawal suggests Republicans are sweating their thin margins - POLITICO (archive.is) More about word getting out that the GOP is sweating these Florida seats, and they should. But this is less a referendum on Trump than the fact that Petronas and both Fine are flying turds that nobody wants to vote for, who didn't try to win, who took our votes for granted, and the only selling point is the R next to their name and the unadvertised picture of them standing next to Trump that you have to dig up. I choose to vote for the uninspiring empty suit with the R next to his name rather than the candidate I like and respect more. I am just locked in to voting for Petronas, damn the torpedoes. He's a POS candidate whose laziness and blase' attitude is gonna fock Trump and Mike Johnson in the ass. If he wins, I don't even know if he'll bother show up in Washington and do a damn thing. There is nothing he has done to win my vote. Nothing. He got it anyways, but only because I know how important this seat is for the Trump agenda. Fock him. Meanwhile Voldemort has done everything possible to win my vote, didn't get it, but earned my respect and admiration along the way. Unlike Jimmy Petronas, who I want to smack in the head and piss on, I actually like Voldemort. I just want to grab Petronas by the lapels and scream "WAKE THE FOCK UP, A$$HOLE!!" in his face. Even if he miraculously wins, fock him. But I don't think he will. His inaction has seriously jeopardized this seat.

Trump is β100% seriousβ about acquiring Greenland, Panama Canal, say sources close to prez-elect
Voltaire replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Trump addressed the Greenland situation during the joint session of Congress address using the words "if they wish," which at present they don't but they do now support separating from Denmark, meaning parties that support this move won a surprise election victory. -

How Detroit Came Fighting Back (city-journal.org) The city has quietly had effective government for the past decade, ever since the bankruptcy. Mike Duggan has done a helluva job as have the various police chiefs of his tenure: Bettison, White, and Craig. Granted Coleman Young was a forebearer of the cop-blaming, anti-white rage long before Black Lives Matter appeared on the scene. Detroit had been the poster child of incompetent big cities while he was mayor for five terms from 1974-94 but he's been dead for twenty years. While seemingly every other big city Democrat is copy-catting him into their own toilets, Detroit is climbing out of it. If you're looking for a poorly run, big city Democratic sh*thole, you have plenty of better options than Detroit these days. It might not even be Democratic going forward, Chief Craig is popular and is running for mayor as a Republican. Hopefully the black community continues shifting and waking up to what the Democratic Party has been selling them for generations. Finley: Will Detroit elect a Republican mayor? (detroitnews.com)

That use to be true but if it still is, I don't know. I doubt it as there's no need anymore. Home prices are rising again, the population loss stabilized a few years ago and is growing. Also, much of the blight has been cleaned up leaving vacant lots and blocks with only a few houses in them. Detroit is not a vertical city. It spreads way, way out with rows of what used to be occupied one family homes on side streets that feed into the major roads. A lot of those homes went to blight and were removed, such that those formerly neat rows of homes are now more like a jack-o-lantern smile with empty lots and occupied houses mixed together.

I heard another Petronas ad on the radio today, that plus the one yesterday makes two and brings our running tally of Voldemort to Petronas ads I've heard something like 454 to 2. Also, Trump wants to withdraw Setfanik's name from consideration for the UN ambassador post, which was supposed to happen the day after the special elections in Florida. He must realize these that two Florida turds he fished out of the toilet and dumped in our laps are unlikely to win. Apparently, the other turd is doing even worse than Petronas. Trump Asks Stefanik to Withdraw Bid to Be U.N. Ambassador - The New York Times (archive.is) If Trump hadn't endorsed these wet paper bag, incompetent, unenthused idiots these seats would easily be held. We had plenty of fine LOCAL options, any one of which would have crushed Voldemort. Everyone I work with is fed up with Petronas ("he seems shady", "he doesn't live here") and it's all I can do to convince them to vote for his sorry ass anyways. One guy didn't know when the election was. You can't have right wing voters not know these things. It spells doom. You have to assume Voldemort has contacted every Democrat in the district twice over on when the election is, she's running a fine campaign.

US Government/Military actions vs the Houthis In Yemen
Voltaire replied to Gepetto's topic in The Geek Club
That was JD Vance's position on the leaked chat group. This connects Europe with Asia and so the vast majority of trade that goes through there benefits the Euoturd slackers and China. It would be better if Europe were capable of putting on a pair of big boy pants, but they aren't. All they are capable of doing is whining and diverting their ships to sail all the way around Africa.
