Sure I'd love to do a Geek meet. Since most all of my time was spent in China, I've only ever met two of you guys: nobody and CDub100. If you're in the area, let me know. Same as MLCKAA, let me know. I don't have that problem with my wife. To get to understand the US better, my wife gets her US and world news from a US-based Chinese language social media platform. Whatever they discuss there, she invariably comes back taking conservative positions on pretty much everything. People who grow up in Communist countries can see through baizuo bullsh*t better than people from the US.

I don't want to get too specific because what happened between Rusty and HT has me spooked, but I'll be tucked just under Alabama and voting to re-elect Matt Gaetz come November. ------ Florida's 1st congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Florida, covering the state's western Panhandle. It includes all of Escambia, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa counties, and portions of Walton county. The district is anchored in Pensacola and also includes the large military bedroom communities and tourist destinations of Navarre and Fort Walton Beach and stretches along the Emerald Coast.

Over the years, Putin has made some poignant and reasonable assessments of the situation in the west, actually lamenting the decline and us not living up to our ideals and moral standards. I found them to be remarkable accurate. Obviously, I could never warm to him though for various reasons: lack of democratic reform, he'd been in a couple of smaller border wars, assassinated dissenters in western countries, and friends with some sh*tty international players. Really, he's an astute observer with an outsider's take of our situation with really amazing insights that resonate. The man is an autocratic despot but he really hits themes that are compelling and to me, him and his mentor/colleague/spiritual Sherpa Alexander Dugan really hit like the 2020s version of Alexis de Tocqueville, if you're familiar. I'm trying to find a youtube video but it's difficult to locate. What I'm looking for is maybe 5+ years old and everything I search for is in the last two.

Merry Christmas to me. I was pretty freaking naïve as to how confusing, time-consuming, and exhausting the hiring process works. The teacher shortage is real enough but there's no need at all for Social Studies teachers in Florida. Believe me, I tried. I got certified to teach Social Studies but those jobs get filled quickly. IT was when I got certified to teach math... BOOM! ... immediately ... that's when not just the emails and phone calls were returned, but headhunters appeared. Lions aside, 2023 has been a total sh*t year for me. For most of it, I took a job driving a wheelchair access van because it came with a vehicle. Strap people in and take them to doctors appointments or therapy mostly, but also grocery stores or the bank or the movies. It didn't pay much and I continue to not be getting any help since my wife's green card application has been held up for 11 months and counting. When I'd finally saved enough to buy a car, I switched to substitute teaching, which I can only do in Michigan, Florida has the program to put veterans into classrooms and is why I'm moving there. Been living with my sister, getting government assistance - so thank you taxpayers. I despise relying on the system and I wouldn't need it if they'd just process my wife's green card, who is anxious to get to work. She's a shoo-in once they get to her application, she entered legally, she's been married to a US citizen for seventeen years, and has three American citizen children, but the backlog is incredible. I'm rather proud of my kids. The three are all straight A students, including amazingly my son, who has turned everything around after being wrecked and confidence destroyed in the Chinese school system. He's also on the JV wrestling team. His sisters had thrived in the Chinese pressure cooker system which has now put them light years ahead of their peers (except in English), the youngest is only now getting on par in English. My oldest has already surpassed her classmates in English too, let alone everything else, she's loaded up with AP classes despite only being in 10th grade. She's absolutely amazing across everything: academics, art, sports, (looks too). So, anyway, when school re-opens again after the Christmas/New Year holiday, I'll be in the western Florida panhandle, teaching eighth grade math.

Super secret Chinese surveillance aircraft over Montana

Ten years ago, I thought I was a centrist. Now, I'm far right and all these looney toons leftwingers are claiming the centrist mantle. OK then, color me far right, I don't care. The left labels everything and everbody that disagrees with them far right, alt-right, racist, Nazi, homophobe, whatever. Slap me with those too. Those words, like "women," "justice," and others have all been hijacked by cultural lunatics and no longer mean what they meant ten years ago. They can label me with whatever they want. Yeah, keep telling us we're all Adolph Hitler, Richard Spencer, and David Duke fans over here and fock right off. -
Yes we did. I just wanted to wish everybody a Merry Christmas in this thread too in order to ensure the message gets a wider distribution.

Merry Christmas.

They think we're all as stupid as they are. -
Pats almost blew it but Denver choked after coming all the way back to tie.

That sucks for them, seeing the ticker come in as I watched the Lions game, it looked to me that they'd played a solid game,
-
Dear God, Miami D goaline fumble.
-
Lions would have home field advantage in a tie-breaker vs. Philly.were that to occur. That's a road win vs Dallas away right now plus another win vs Minnesota to close out the season.. If they lose to Dallas, they should rest their starters vs Minnesota in week 17. I didn't like seeing Kirby Joseph limping around, although that seems petty after watching Minnesota get bit way, way worse,
-
I'm wondering how the Packers / Carolina game ended, Carolina had the ball in FG range to tie.
-
Vikings ball down by 6. Hopefully the blocked XP doesn't come back to bite the Lions in the butt.
-
Lions already up nine and Kirby Joseph just picked off a pass. Hopefully that signals the beginning of the end.
-
Vikings are getting a large amount of injuries this game.
-
You remember that. They weren't yet on death row. I'd look to Hamas terrorists.
-
Addison and Hockinson out for Vikings.
-
I can be in.
-
If it's 4th and two and you're 20 yards downfield, just knock that pass down, don't intercept it (Brian Branch).

Have we talked about the Epstein Island list?

Probably. That guy seems to be everywhere.
