Wordle 902 3/6 🟩🟩 🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 My God was I lucky. The yellow was the first letter and so, this could have been at least a half dozen things. It was play it safe and accept a four or roll the dice on three and risk a five. The answer was the most strategically sound word. If the second letter was what I thought it was (and it was) , it could have been three things in the five place. I picked the five place option that - if it failed - could have been plugged into two. There were more words out there that had neither.

    Ukraine - Doomsday

If a sanctuary city doesn't want to cooperate with federal authorities on immigration matters, then that is a welcome sign. It means they think like you: that the country should be welcoming to all migrants. Well, if that's their position combined with not having a follow-up plan for the migrants, well that's a problem isn't it? If this puts downward pressure on wages for the working class residents of those communities, and diverts resources such as providing affordable shelter away from citizens and towards these people, that's their tough luck for electing irresponsible leaders who leap before they think. Perhaps some other politicians should come along and try to help resolve their immigration problem. To have their immigration problem resolved, perhaps they should reconsider cooperating and/or the voters should reconsider the politicians they elect. Also, the Gestapo put people in concentration camps to starve/murder them, whereas immigration authorities don't provide Zyclon B showers. Instead they provide (ideally) food and shelter and a ticket back to wherever they came from. But they don't wind up in such camps anyway. They get released into the country where they fail to show up for court dates and when eventually they do find their way into the court systems for committing a crime, they don't get deported. Also, conflating everyone on the right with Nazis is always the go-to move for the left so I'd like to again point out that we were the ones who died on the beaches of Normandy fighting the real Nazis while people like you were hiding under their beds with 4F waivers complaining about how much the values the country were built on sucks. Ideally illegal immigration wouldn't be an everybody problem, it should only be a sanctuary city problem. Especially for criminals, smart criminals should just live in places where they won't have to worry about being deported.

Golf balls to travel shorter distance by 2030

"Take your eagle and smile. God Bless You," works fine for me. I don't care if forty years ago, Arnold Palmer could only ever birdie that hole.

    FSU got hosed

Glad I'm not a Florida State fan. Alabama, Texas, and Florida State were all pointing their fingers at the other two teams saying, "let us in and screw that program over there." Also glad some people other than me were on that committee. It would be impossible to not generate a flood of hate mail. "Here, Let me explain to you (FSU, Alabama, or Texas) homers calmly, so you understand, why I chose to fock over your school..."

“Governance is hard. And while thousands will claim that we did too much, there will be just as many who said we didn’t do enough to protect the game long-term,” said Mike Whan, CEO of the USGA. “But from the very beginning, we’ve been driven to do what is right for the game, without bias. As we’ve said, doing nothing is not an option – and we would be failing in our responsibility to protect the game’s future if we didn’t take appropriate action now.” Martin Slumbers, CEO of The R&A, said, “We are convinced that this decision is one of the key ways of achieving a sustainable future for golf, protecting the integrity of the game and meeting our environmental responsibilities. The measure we are taking has been carefully considered and calibrated while maintaining the ‘one game’ ethos deemed to be so important to the golf industry. Importantly, it also keeps the impact on recreational golfers to an absolute minimum. We are acting now because we want to ensure that future generations can enjoy the unique challenge of golf as much as we do.” -------- How the fock are you "protecting the game?" Protecting it from what? happier golfers? I'm missing the part on why/how crappier balls "achieve a sustainable future and protect the integrity of game." Lets go over that part, Mike and Martin.

WHY? If I were to design golf balls (or clubs), my goal would be to have them fly as far as possible, further than the sh*tty rival brand over there, and/or it comes with a homing device. Instead we get, "Hey, I have an idea that nobody wants and that'll really piss off golfers worldwide. Let's do it!"

Donald Trump blasts Robert De Niro

De Niro is a great actor and top of his field. His outspoken politics have marked him as loony far left for a long time.

    My Week 14 NFL Rankings

At least Mat Millen's 0-16 Lions gave us some moments of hope for something to root for to not go winless. Some games were close enough that they had the ball with a chance to go ahead in the final moments. Among them was the Bears game where they actually outplayed the Bears but lost anyway. Anyway you have to wait at the bottom of the Ferris Wheel to load up a rookie class or two full of the top picks of each round and hope they get to the top.

Bunny and Me at lunch in New Orleans

For those who don't know, Brian Peppers became somewhat of an online sensation/meme (before we had a word for 'meme)' in the early days of the internet for being the ugliest accused sex abuser most people had ever seen.
