Federal Judge blocks Trump military ban on transgenders
Voltaire replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I don't want any part of this Jew baiting. My disagreements with Tim are based around politics only and limited to that. Tim is a good person, more civil and tolerant of different views than I am, I respect him for that, and am glad he posts here. -

Federal Judge blocks Trump military ban on transgenders
Voltaire replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Putting them in the female barracks is right out -completely- and yet what male want to have one for a roommate or share a pup tent with one? I guess if they were only available to be roommates with each other or get their own room. But then aren't they also undeployable if they're taking hormone therapy? So no hormone therapy. Maybe let them wear female uniforms but offer zero medical services for transitioning other than counselling. Maybe don't spread them out, condense them into just one company or battalion full of fellow trannies. Apparently, it's been found to be too much hassle to accommodate them and bend the service to their will. -

Three of those six never made it off of Iwo Jima. I knew the guy from Detroit (Schultz) survived but I didn't recall who the other two were... Hayes was another survivor. -

Well, Democrat or no, whoever did it will get fired. But this unacceptable lack of patriotism does exude "Democrat" stench. -

I'll go out on a limb here... this happens a lot... Prediction: It'll get restored quickly and it'll turn out that this move was done by a Democrat who wanted to deliberately embarrass his boss and will get fired for this. In 2025, Republicans take pride in all six of those men in that Iwo Jima photo while Democrats go to bat for visa holding terrorists that support the overthrow of western civilization. -

While I wouldn't mind if Trump goes Andrew Jackson on these a$$holes, I realize it'll tear the country apart. Meanwhile, our worse-than-Hitler, fascist, authoritarian Nazi who shrinks the power of his government and doesn't kill or jail his enemies, isn't going that far. Maybe the strategy is to take all these massively unpopular judicial overreaches, tie them to the Democrats since they worship these judges, and make them campaign issues. Right now I'm just hoping slow-ass SCOTUS comes around and steps on these cockroaches. It'd be nice if someone shoved a firecracker up John Roberts' ass because right now, the lower courts in leftoid circuits are grossly overstepping their authority and cranking out frivolous national injunctions one, after the other, after the other. -

Kamala ran up the score in blue states that don't require ID to vote because .... of course they don't want ID to vote but do want to mail ballots to everyone. Trump won all the swing states and another good sign is that come the next census, there'll be a shift to red states because blue states aren't governed nearly as well as red ones. Hopefully it'll be like the Dems said fifteen years ago and demographics are our destiny. -

How has he diluted the power of Congress? Looks to me that the Majority are on board and happy with the results. John Thune hasn't gotten rid of the fillibuster like the Democrats would have done if Kirsten Sinema and Joe Manchin hadn't have stopped them. They haven't supported packing the courts with extra judges like the Dems also tried to pull. Thus far, they're not censoring nor putting their political opponents in jail like Biden did (although I may have to pull this observation, especially if this autopen loophole blows up). Meanwhile Trump hasn't defied any court orders, despite their obvious partisan insanity. Trump just keeps consistently staking out popular positions on issues across the board, while the Dems, in blind seething hatred, happily take the side of ridiculousness over and over again. We'll see how he handles the economy going forward, which is always the 800 pound gorilla when it comes time to vote. it'd been a strong suit for him last time, thus far it is not, but everything is early. Tariffs are dragging down his numbers. -

That's pretty much word for word the explanation I got. You've channeled well a University of Maryland professor who taught US troops overseas in Germany in the early 90s. -
Trump is staking out popular positions on issues across the board and since the Dems position is to oppose Trump on everything, everywhere, no matter what, they're accumulating a bunch of insane positions. Which is fine with me. The ultimate goal is 60 seats in the Senate to lock everything in place permanently. The trick for the GOP is along what James Carville outlines, there's a rift between budget hawks and purple seat Republicans that is going to manifest since it is highly unlikely that DOGE can find enough cuts to balance the budget. Meanwhile, Trump has put the most juicy and most popular programs off limits since Trump isn't a budget hawk but more in favor of what's popular. We'll see if Mike Johnson can keep pulling magic out of his hat.

Since thus far Trump has also complied with even the most ridiculous court overreach orders from activist judges, I'll roll with Joe Biden whose complete unwillingness to enforce US immigration law got his Homeland Security Secretary impeached. Also, just because a retarded partisan activist judge says Trump is breaking the law, doesn't mean he's breaking the law. What Trump is doing is popular, it's what he said he was going to do, and what he was elected to do. -
What we know about the El Salvador ‘mega prison’ where Trump is sending alleged Venezuelan gang members
Voltaire replied to kilroy69's topic in The Geek Club
Nice find. 2025 Dems are wacko / nutso. Getting fully on board with not deporting violent criminal gangsters is the latest retarded hill they're happy to die on. Add in supporting wasteful government spending and trannies in girls sports, soft on crime, DEI, kneeling for the flag, and we can continue to play Pin the Tail on the Donkeys into the future. -

The SCOTUS justices I support stick closely to the Constitution, the SCOTUS justices you support make up their minds with little regard for the document. Also which side wants to shred the Electoral college and which side wants to expand/pack the courts, and which side wants the judiciary to overrule both the legislative and executive branch? -

My college professor spent two full lessons on the JFK assassination and less than 5 minutes on the entire Ford administration. True story. No exaggeration. -

Help me out here. The traitors are which side? The ones that want the violent illegal criminals deported and held in a foreign prison or the ones who want them to stay here? In related news, which side that celebrates kneeling for the flag, tearing down statues of Jefferson, and painting over murals of George Washington? -

Minnesota senator creates bill to make TDS an official mental illness
Voltaire replied to Ron_Artest's topic in The Geek Club
So "this guy"" ... Uh... Minnesota's senators are both female. Oh wait. Nevermind. I forgot, few Democrats know what women are. The OP seems particularly prone to not being able to figure it out anyway. Or maybe Klobuchar or Smith identify as men now. That sort of thing is all the rage in Dem circles these days. -
I have Cancer :/ -- now not so great, new nodule 3/18/25
Voltaire replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
Less 'not so great' than I feared when I opened the thread. There's a high chance this is nothing and your streak of cancer-free months continues. Maybe upwards of 70%. If it isn't, that means you're not actually out of the woods after all which is the worst of it. Its still there. But this particular nodule seems easily handled. You've been through and dealt with much worse. -

I saw that Cheech and Chong movie. You have to give ICE a little bit of credit to not fock things up that badly. -

Voltaire replied to Ron_Artest's topic in The Geek Club
Everybody claims to be innocent and dindu nuffin. Could be true thout, so ook into the story. If ICE has it right: fF 'em. If its true that they are not Tren de Aragua, they deserve to be put on a plane to Venezuela. Either way, they should be out of the country, but Salvadoran prison is for the hardcore gangbangers, not run-of-the-mill illegal aliens who you just drop off at their nation's airport if it was their first offense. -
Trump wants the U.S. to take over Gaza and relocate all the Palestinians
Voltaire replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I support not flushing any money down that toilet. Also, even if the plan goes perfectly smooth and underbudget with no loss of US life (a 0.01% chance) the next Democrat to take office will just give it right back, like Jimmy Carter did with the Panama Canal. -

The Constitution gives the authority for passing laws to the legislature and for enforcing the laws to the executive. The lower courts, courts which aren't even mentioned in the Constitution, are stepping in and overriding both of them.
