It's a rough neighborhood in desperate need of gentrifying.
  4. If a system can produce more energy than it takes in, at large enough scale, it can produce more and more and more energy... whatever we need. Also, you can measure it directly. If you put X energy in to make the reaction happen and got X+Y out after the reaction, well, you can put that X back in to make more energy and use the Y to power the world. All the energy you need theoretically but at that point, see if/how greed and government come along to fock everything up.
  5. I seriously doubt he knows anything more than the layman basics of nuclear fusion, but we can all read the progress the scientists working on it report as well as the claims they are making.

    States keeping candidates off ballots

Congrats to Tim and Squistion for showing that even Trump haters have enough sense to criticize Colorado on this.

    States keeping candidates off ballots

There exist videos that suspiciously look like this may have happened. Democrats claim that they didn't rig the election, but they did have the time and means to do so.
  8. The chance that this comes to pass is disturbingly high given how anything is done in this country.
  9. I don't think our government is anxious drop the ball on something this big. There's going to be corruption to be had though. We'll see.

Biden should deal with the border issue, but he’ll win anyhow.

They lie about him so regularly, relentlessly, and constantly that they have no credibility. The biggest lie of all being the "very fine people on both sides" line about Charlottesville when they took a snipped of what he said out of context so that it would mean the 180 degrees opposite of what he actually said. It was amazing how shameless that lie was. That was the breaking point for me, the moment when I gave up the ghost that the media had any ethics or professionalism left. You'd do well to watch the Charlottesville speech in full context. I broke it down somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up.

    How handle CHAZ

I miss CHAZ. Watching those drugged out Communist rioters try to form a country was hilarious. For me, my favorite moment was the guy livestreaming his admiration for the ACAB and LGBTQ graffiti when somebody knocked the camera out of his hands, stole it, and ran off with it while it was still broadcasting. I also loved when Stephen Crowder sent Garrett to Seattle to rent the CHAZ warlord's apartment on AirBNB and invite all the homeless CHAZ bums there for a party.

Love the 80s... for reasons that are self-evidently obvious to anyone that lived through them and contrasts them to today.

Biden should deal with the border issue, but he’ll win anyhow.

Disappointing. I have a half a hundred things going on right now, I've not been paying attention, so I presumed this was more BS. I fully expected to roll my eyes when I saw the full quote in context, like the multiple "good people on both sides" canard. That doesn't seem to be the case. What a horrible choice of words. When he previously criticized criminal migrants, the MSM twisted his words by conflated the gangs and cartels with ordinary migrants, and pretending he was talking about all migrants. That's what I expected to be what happened here, but it turns out that he did say this "poisoning the blood" quote recently in context. Maybe I need to back up more but it sure doesn't seem he's talking solely about drugrunners and gangbangers here. People who work hard, pay taxes, contribute to society, obey the law, and don't go on the government dole aren't poisoning the blood of the country. They are the best people in any country and are welcome here so far as I'm concerned. The problem is that they're flooding in, not all are so productive, some are downright horrible, and you don't know what you're getting.

His policies are racist because the Biden administration and the MSM calls them racist. They call everything racist. The hinges on your door are racist. The leaves clogging your gutter are racist. The tadpole eating algae is racist. The cameraman recording Kadaverous Toney lining up offside is racist.

    Aidan Maese-Czeropski

"Attacked for who he loves," ... because people are only criticizing him so they can pursue a political agenda. We all know he's not "disrespecting his workplace," and it would be acceptable behavior to fock in Senate chambers if someone was with a woman or a different gay guy, Such convincing points, Aiden. Feel free to fock on the Speaker's Chair during the State of the Union next time.
  18. This is something we can all get excited about if they can produce it at large scale. A week ago or so, I'd read that there were some breakthroughs at University of Wisconsin on a certain spray they are using to help keep the reaction temperature hot. So, multiple groups are making simultaneous progress on it all.

I've been here for 22 years and until a couple of months ago, I couldn't have named one mod beside Mike. I have no idea who is behind the curtain and what goes on there. Mods? No mods? I don't know. I just enjoy the soup. I don't know who makes it but I like the recipe left alone.

Yes, bostonlager. I continue to like the guy, didn't even know we had mods, let alone that he was one of them. But we obviously have different opinions of how a forum should be run. Banning posters and locking threads never set well with me.

Actually, I was the one who "reported him" if you can call it that. I logged in one disastrous day to find the forum had gone totally to sh*t, with 25-33% of page one locked down. All political threads. So, I got pissed off and complained to Mike about how his new mods were out of control, shutting down the forum. Thankfully, Mike agreed because he came back through, unlocked 90% of the threads, returned the forum to how it always has been, and gave bostonlager a timeout. This is my post in tech support: The Large Number of Locked Threads in the Geek Club - Technical Support - FFToday Forums Also, I don't support anyone getting banned or any threads getting locked. I just didn't want mods having access to the car keys (or anyone else for that matter ... just post what you want) because the mods abused the power and tried to turn the forum on its ear. Threads getting locked pisses me off.
