Bears marched down on the Lions to start the game, Lions were looking good moving the ball then got an INT. After a stop, they're trying again. Got another INT to killl another drive. I have an ill feel so far. 7-0 Chicago.

As you may know, Bruce Irvin just signed with Detroit. Now apparently, JJ Watt is also in talks with the Lions to come out of retirement. Well, more correctly, The Lions are talking to JJ Watt.

Mike unlocked most of them and suspended bostonlager. Also, fuck you, we ought to have the right to talk about stuff, not be babysat. We're not FBG thankfully.

Interesting change of pace twist if it happens. Thanks for the update.

We have footage of James Houston back at the practice facility, out of his walking boot and pulling a weighted sled. So if his ankle can hold up for that as of right now, he should be able to return soon - and certainly before the playoffs. He was a huge part of the Lions defensive turnaround last year and Lord knows the Lions have missed him badly, the pass rush opposite opposite Hutchinson hasn't been very effective. In that regard, the Lions just signed Bruce Irvin who's a big name obviously, but who knows how much is left in the tank at 36. People spend ten months as unsigned free agents for a reason. Enough to get a contract. Somebody to cross fingers isn't washed up. We also have footage of CJGJ working out and looking like he's made improvements. He's always said that he wasn't done for the year and maybe we can hold out hope for him to return as well to help in the secondary. Moseley is obviously done for the year and Vaitai looks to be as well, Dan Campbell is leaving the door open but is pessimistic that he will be able to return.

Blue Horseshoe? And how do you come across info like this?

Still rooting for the Lions and against SF, Philly, Minnesota, and Seattle. The Bears are having a bad year but can't let up if we want to catch Philly, for the 1 seed its one game at a time, beat them and move from 7-2 to 8-2, then a short turnaround to Green Bay on Thanksgiving. Tampa wouldn't seem to have a prayer against the 49ers, but a decent chance in the other three games that I want to see stumble to stumble: Eagles at Chiefs is most important, but also Seahawks at Rams, and Vikings at Broncos.

I also wonder why the media isn't interested in investigating the answer and telling it to us. I mean, I've been up in here telling us how impressed I am with the solution, but I don't actually know what the solution entails or if SF can stay this way for good. If he put them in a camp or if he put them in cans of dog food, we haven't been told anything.

MSU beat Indiana. It's still curious as to how they'll solve their coach problem. Its already hard enough being little brother to UM in the state, I really worry this Mel Tucker fiasco has the potential to tank the team for a generation.

Why am I suddenly getting emails about replies to threads?
Voltaire replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
I had that happen to me once, it was focking annoying. -
He wouldn't be hurting for work if he didn't have bigger problems he's dealing with.

As expected: nothing will ever be done with Bill Gates or any of the other elites on the Epstein island visitor list and we're all supposed to forget it exists.
-
I know. It sucks and we all have to deal with it. I was just thinking of how things could get better on the censorship front.

I don't want my thread locked. That's the entire point. I want the guy who locks my thread to get himself locked up, wearing a gimp suit in the dungeon under League Champion's and Blue Horseshoe's pawn shop.

That's what we want. Do nothing ... ... every twenty years or so, someone like Newbie will come along and repeatedly call for death on the president. Then you may have to do something. Until then though... go...go..go...go... just greenlight everything and issue a formal apology on behalf of the board to shotsup

We've been talking about it going downhill for twenty years. The golden age is eighteen years in the rear-view mirror. And NO. It doesn't need fixing... or more correctly it didn't need fixing until twelve hours ago. Only now - counted in hours - does it need fixing. Strip all the mods of mod power gained in the last day... that's all the fixing it needs.

Well, now it's Ohio State week, Michigan'll be playing without JIm Harbaugh on the sidelines. Th only challenge thus far was Penn State. It would have been nice to gage how good the team is by seeing some actual competitive football up until this point, but whatever, until this week they rolled over all the teams they were supposed to roll over. We've known all along it was a two game season and here's the second game.
-
Until now we could still post what we want and talk about what we want, without worrying about some butthurt mod coming along and shutting down the discussion.
-
The reason people rail on those who report users is because we want them to STFU, stop whining, and leave us alone. The place was fine AS IS and doesn't need fixing. Now that the whiners have been put in charge of the forum, we want to appeal/reverse the decision, have them to go away and to give us our forum back. This place is going to go downhill and become really lame and boring really fast.

This is a critical time in the Geek Club. I mean that quit seriously and earnestly, not joking around. Look at page one and all those locked threads. Do you want this? Our new cadre of mods are turning the Geek Club upside down and their presence/existence is unwelcome, IMO. If you don't like seeing this forum pulled out from under you, hopefully if enough of us complain about it to Mike, we can get things back the way things were and always have been. I know that he comes in here very much, so to get his attention, I posted this in technical support area. If you say something to him there, he's more likely to read it. The Large Number of Locked Threads in the Geek Club
Voltaire replied to Voltaire's topic in Technical Support
Anyway, the Geek Club forum has worked just fine the way it is since the beginning. All these mods are going to accomplish is to make the place really lame and boring. This is one of the very few places on the internet where we can talk about things. Hopefully you'll pull the plug on them, they whined to you about nothing and are trying to fix something that isn't broken. -
I posted this in TIm's thread, seeing as it is more relevant here, I'm posting it here too... ... for those that notice with horror all the locked threads on page one and don't like the direction this is going, I posted a complaint about it in the technical support forum. For those of us that don't like what the mods are doing, I posted this complaint in the technical support thread. The Large Number of Locked Threads in the Geek Club - Technical Support - FFToday Forums
