Um... you may not realize that the latest twist in the story now features your white butt ridiculing a Native American kid for dressing up like a Native American and not a white person.

He should stop lying and embarrassing us all by claiming to be from the Saginaw / Flint area. He needs to go back to New York or California or Wakanda or Mars or wherever-the-fock he's really from.

I worry that any change of course now will alienate their target market of outraged, 20-something, gender-confused snowflakes.

I find vowels that are in a puzzle don't help me nearly so much as consonants do. I was thinking, if I were to play on hard, I'd probably choose words that had four consonants, which is the opposite of what you do.

Do liberals still think that covid didn't come from the Wuhan lab that Fauci was funding?

Coronavirus : Doomsday is/was a CDub thread and he never deletes anything. I know because I was in China at the time and it was impressive that he'd picked up on the story a day or two before it caught much traction in the MSM. -
I think the talent is there in flashes and he's got the ability to get it all together more than any of the other low-end young QBs. I wouldn't give up on him. If he does go to placeholder and backup status, he's the candidate most likely to Geno Smith his career later.

Yeah, that's something I do often. And this is an interesting example. i wouldn't ever guess 'alive' for two reasons. For one, there's too many vowels, I'm not terribly interested in discovering vowels early on and prefer to pace myself with 2+2. (or 2+1 if both hit). I'm looking for consonants and along the way with 2+2, I get the vowels for free. Second 'V' is a letter too infrequently seen for me to guess it. And then once a consonant is eliminated, I would never go back and reuse it a second time and next to never for a vowel unless I've boxed myself in or need a tourniquet. There is something to be said for a word like 'level.' Until now, I would have never thought to look for a word like but I recognize that It's quite ingenious in the right circumstance, not after having already eliminated the 'v.' though.

Wordle 893 4/6 🟨 🟩🟨 🟩🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Was confident I had a three... until it failed and I had to recalibrate. Picked up an extra letter at least.

There aren't 32 QBs in the league better than Justin Fields. I'm not down on him at all. Dude's at worst a low-end starter but with the right coaching and development and environment, there may be an extra gear or three in him yet.

" Why did God do this to women? " Is that a rhetorical question?

I became aware of the hard version a couple of months ago but, like I'd said recently, by then I was already making my own challenge of it based on ratios of 3s : 5s and 2s : 6s, which I am very close to getting. Also, as I mentioned then as well, the notion of what I call the "slide of death" which frightens me. There's been at least a half dozen times that I needed to put a tourniquet on when I had maybe four choices left for one spot and three guesses left. I like that I have a 100% win ratio. I can't keep a streak going because I miss days, but I can keep that going.

Eagles are a frustratng team. If you're good, they'll somehow find a way to beat you and if you're bad, they'll also somehow find a way to beat you. But they really are in the midst of a nice run of really good teams they've overcome with an enormous obstacle this week.

I should give Indy more credit, their losses have come against good teams and they have early wins against Baltimore and Houston. I'm going to go bump them to 16.

Tim has too much on his plate in this thread already to follow this tangent further, but I just want to say that A Fish Called Wanda was hilarious and that John Cleese and Michael Palin are two of the funniest human beings on this planet. I loved A Fish Called Wanda and pretty much everything involving John Cleese.

Well that didn't go as planned. -
It's disgraceful what liberals do to shame teams that feature natives. The Eastern Michigan Hurons and Washington Redskins both featured dignified native American mascots. Tribal High School teams across the country have embraced the Redskins logo for their own. "Huron" is more than a Lake and seeing them featured on the football helmet use to remind people of that before woke white libtards changed that over the objections of the Huron tribe. The Chippewas and Seminoles risk being erased entirely from thought and reduced to obscure cultural trivia were Central Michigan or Florida State to be forced by liberals to abandon them. Somehow, liberal bastion Illinois has been able to stick through with the Blackhawks and Illini.

I started with 'Dumpy' for the first time.

I'd been thinking of moving SF up to second. Had I done this the first five weeks, they'd have been #1 but when I started doing this they were on a three game skid and I think I had them around eight or so and never really got them back past the Ravens. Maybe part of my appreciation for Baltimore comes from being a shellshocked Lions fan. Were I to do :"Who do the Lions not want any party of", Baltimore would be enshrined at #1, gimme a crack at Philly or the 9ers. Plus their division, before Cleveland and Cincy lost their QBs, was just brutal and to be kings of the AFC North was particularly impressive.

Maybe you guys are right Dallas and Jax have the same record. Dallas has a points differential of +182, Jax is only +29. Dallas makes mince of average teams on the regular, Arizona being the anomaly. l I'll go edit it.

Wordle 892 3/6 🟩 🟨🟨🟨 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 For the first time ever, I feel that I've cheated a little. Normally I come into this thread after I go there to solve the puzzle. Not very frequently and until today, what you guys guess hasn't influence me. Today, not so. Today, I came in here first and saw what happened to 5-Points and thought "Oh, Sh*t!" so I went in and picked some words that featured less frequently used letters and it paid off really well.

Your other points regrarding Sandman and Rittenhouse are totally off the mark too but this one is absolutely nuts. You go to a Lions game, and diehard fans paint their face silver and blue, the same regarding Packer fans with yellow and green. This kid's crime/transgression is that his favorite team's colors are red and black. There's no hidden political or social message to be found in red and black facepaint that goes any deeper than "I really like the Chiefs." Is there no end to this bottomless pit of whining?

Put a chick in it and make her gay and lame.

I dunno. The AFC wildcard teams looked like monsters a couple of weeks ago but the two best got snakebite and Jax is better than what's left. They 'd likely face the Steelers, Broncos, Houston, Bills or Browns at home. The Bills seemed likely out because they have to go through schedule hell just to make the playoffs, but with Cincy out and Cleveland vulnerable they're back in contention. The Bills would not be a fun first round matchup to whoever gets stuck with them. The Browns are at 7 wins but can they hang around without DeShawn? Indy is north of .500 and deserves a mention too. Jags are even with Buffalo and better than all of the rest.
-
At this point, the Browns and Jets are essentially the same team, maybe it's a mental block looking at that 7-4 and the 4-7 and separating them, or maybe it's courtesy to not drop the Browns that far that fast. The Browns and Bengals need a win to kind of judge where the bottom is. It's been two weeks now and I'm still not comfortable ranking them. The Browns floor is the Jets and the Jets at 4-7 may be too high themselves but that defense is too scary. The Bengals, I don't know.
