Green Bay is probably closer to Pittsburgh than Pittsburgh is to the Lions. Really, you could take 10-13 and shuffle them up in any random order. i needed a team to plug in at 10.11. and 12 but it's actually ,more like a 4-way-tie at 13.

They're actually gonna do it.

Stop focking around, get your asses another FG, and go home with a W.
-
The choke is on in Chicago again, unfortunately.
-
Yes they can, golden opportunity to stettch the lead to two possessions blown.
-
Da Bears can't blow it can they? Hopefully they've solved Dobbs. I mean I like the guy's story, I just like Minnesota losing more.

The sky's the limit man, they fired their offensive coordinator and actually outgained the opposition this week (Burrow-less Cincy). They're 10th because Cincy and Cleveland lost their QB, the bloom is off the rose in Seattle., I really don't have anybody else to shove in there, so the team that keeps hanging around collecting Ws gets it. Houston and Denver have been on the rise. I'd had Houston finally leapfrog them last week. Houston lost a tight one to Jax, while Pitt beating Cincy without Burrow isn't so great, so an argument could be had for keeping the Texans ahead.

Susan Sarandon Dropped By Hollywood Companies

Since all the conservatives get blacklisted, I won't be upset when somebody go too far left and get blacklisted. I'd always thought that it was impossible to go too far left, seeing what they get away with, but apparently the Israel thing has changed things. -
Philly again keeps grinding out tight wins.

Dammit!

Wow, I've been busy doing things I'd put off all Holiday weekend and check in to find that I am totally missing the Bills go toe-to-toe with the Eagles. I should be savoring this game rather than get updates every now and again.

We're getting a pretty heavy snow in Detroit but thus far, it's not accumulating.

I think I'd rather watch a 0-0 soccer tie than a Giants 10-7 win over the Patriots. I wonder if those classic football games from the 1930s that ended in a scoreless ties were exciting in real time.

Flash mob ransacks Nike Store in Los Angeles, steals $12K in merch
Voltaire replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
I don't doubt that Lea Thomas or the GameStop "Ma'am" could pass the physical requirements and perform better than women when it comes time to lay hands during a physical altercation then frogmarching the focker to the back of the cop car. I dunno. There's a certain gravitas you need that goes with the job, an aura of toughness that's hard to pull off when you look like a clown. -

That's how it's done. -
I change starting words all the time, there's no pattern, but a lot of times 'dumpy' is sitting there after two with all its letters unused. It's easily my most commonly used word even though I never plan to use it and it only comes up as a clean-up time third guess. I had a green 'e' and a yellow 'i', could be a bajillion things... 'dumpy' took me directly to 'guide.'

It's a shoe store! There are no books! The joke works better two ways: 1) with work boots being left behind or 2) observing that no flash mob has ever ransacked Barnes and Noble -
Derek Chauvin, convicted in George Floyd’s killing, stabbed in prison

Not true. We haven't argued this in a couple of years. Feel free to make this observation in a tranny, or Biden, or either of the war thread. -
Derek Chauvin, convicted in George Floyd’s killing, stabbed in prison
Voltaire replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
No. George Floyd was horrible. His long criminal history indicates he was a blight on society. Apparently, when he's about to be arrested, his go-to move was to swallow the his drugs in his possession, included fentanyl, which in-turn makes breathing difficult. So, yes the drugs killed him. Nobody cares about that. You watch that video and the emotions kick in and it was game over, people wanted Chauvin's head and there was no way to explain his way out of it. Chauvin's problem was that he heard the guy repeating multiple times that he couldn't breathe and, rather than find an alternate method to subdue him, he knelt on his back to pin him on the ground, thus making the condition worse. Floyd's chances of pulling through would have been enhanced had he simply been permitted to sit up and breathe properly. In hockey terms, Chauvin didn't get the goal, but he does get an assist. When someone is pleading that they can't breathe, and the cop's been ignoring that and kneeling on the guy's chest for - whatever - eight minutes, and the perp dies, the cop is focked beyond focked; then exponentially so, to the moon and Mars and back, when the perp's unheeded pleas for relief are caught on video footage that goes viral. Floyd looks so sympathetic, Chauvin so callous. -
Horrible. Well, that's one less.

Doh! Well, I guess thanks are in order then. Thanks.
