Pope delivers major speech saying world on brink of nuclear war
Voltaire replied to JustinCharge's topic in The Geek Club
One of my reasons for wanting nuclear war is that a large-scale reduction in the human population would greatly reduce CO2 emissions. -
House averts shutdown as McCarthy works out deal with Democrats

Good point. I'd mentioned a 'Wile E. Coyote looking down' moment earlier. Maybe we're not getting one, instead being constantly squeezed and squeezed some more in this manner is the way it bites us. -

We don't need Marxists for the Civil Rights movement, although the Marxists needed the Civil Rights movement. Marxism and stirring class-based oppression was so deeply discredited by the 60s. They needed a better vehicle to undermine the American system and so they found it by switching gear and stoking racial resentment. And so now we get the lie that you enjoy promogating about how racism is so deeply entrenched in the American system that it can't be unwound out even thought it has. You get equity walking around in equality's clothing. Colorblindness is tossed to the cub in favor of anti-racism (which is anti-white racism, "the remedy for past discrimination is present discrimination") and people like you who hate themselves enjoy putting yourselves and the rest of us through white shaming struggle sessions as a form of soul cleansing. I could see how Social Security could have Marxist roots, although I don't know that for sure. I only have a surface level knowledge of how FDR's Great Society plans came to be. -

Hopefully realizing that your fellow liberals took Laura Ingalls Wilder's name off a children's writing award should serve as a wake up call. You could imagine my reaction who has despised leftoids all along. Here's who wikipedia identifies as the creators of CRT: CRT, a framework of analysis grounded in critical theory,[21] originated in the mid-1970s in the writings of several American legal scholars, including Derrick Bell, Alan Freeman, KimberlΓ© Crenshaw, Richard Delgado, Cheryl Harris, Charles R. Lawrence III, Mari Matsuda, and Patricia J. Williams.[22 I have to run but you can go through that list before I go over it. You do know that BLM is founded my open Marxists? -

The conservative solution is not "there's no way to do anything because the culture won't allow for it so let's not do anything." The conservative solution is to give the parents vouchers so they can move their kids into functional schools if they are unhappy with the one they are in. Here's five minutes well worth your time: (1) Philadelphia student at State of the Union receives scholarship | ABC News - YouTube The major problem in minority communities is there are no conservatives around to help the kids. Only various factions of clueless leftoids who do push-me-pull-you, never get any results, and who only point their fingers at each other. -

Really? Somehow I'm not convinced. You're the one that endorses CRT and the Marxist lies, shaming and national hatred that comes with it. I call CRT Marxist because all it's founders that developed it were Marxist and we don't want these a$$holes telling our national story to our kids. First, it's bullsh*t. Second, this is what CRT's interpretation of history brings: Vandals hit pioneer monument, tear down George Washington statue in Minneapolis | American Military News Two historic pioneer statues torn down on University of Oregon campus | KMTR (nbc16.com) Murals can depict traumatic history β schools must decide what stays on the wall : NPR Even Laura Ingalls Wilder (who you probably never heard of) isn't immune: Laura Ingalls Wilder's name removed from prestigious award over 'dated' attitudes (nbcnews.com) Then there's the national disrepect of the flag via the Colin Kaepernick protests. Protesting an imaginary problem if you take his word for it. Police abuses are mostly made up. We hear about each one because they always make national news. Then when you scratch the surface, few turn out to be the cop's fault. Rinse Repeat for most of the racial intimidation that takes place on college campuses invariably turn out to be hoaxes. It mostly exists in the heads of leftoids. There's the coddling of criminals because criminals are disproportionately minorities, even though the victims of crimes are also disproportionately minorities who'd be better off if these predators were off the streets. You leftoids are making your urban sh*tholes unliveable by refusing to put criminals in prison. As the George Washington statues come down, up go the George Floyd memorials. Somewhere out there is a mom and a six year old kid (likely minorities themselves) walking past a mural celebrating the life of the man your people have cannonized who pointed a gun at her child while she was pregnant. the "systemic racism" nonsense that only exists in the left's imagination. All my life, the only "systemic" thing I've seen is the government and private institutions bending over backwards to help black people. It's no secret that they've had far more opportunities than I have in life (except in China where white privilege and racial discrimination against blacks actually does exist) . Oddly, in the US, systemic racism seems to only exist in places and institutions controlled by the very people who complain about it. Now it's time to naval gaze about how living in Michigan means that I live on stolen land. "I live on stolen land. The United States stole Michigan from the British, who stole it from the French, who gained it in cooperation with the various Anishinaabek tribes, who only exist today because allying with the French prevented them from being slaughtered and having their land stolen by the Iroquois, a tribal confederacy to the east who had been kicking their asses until the French came along. At some point, the Anishinaabek had gained control of the land by stealing it from another tribe they had slaughtered and is now gone to history. Previously, that tribe gone to history had stolen it from an earlier tribe gone to history. Somewhere in history, in 800 BC, a great Indian civilization existed in the region we call the Adina. This tribe had advanced mathematics and astronomy capable of building the amazing serpent mound in Ohio. In 100 AD, the liberals in this exceptional Adina tribe were pissing and moaning about how nine hundred years ago, their despicable ancestors had built their great serpent mound on land they had stolen from somebody else. As they bickered and complained, a backwards-ass Indian tribe from over there came along and kicked their focking asses. Everybody who knew how to engineer, carry out the mathematical calculations, and chart astronomical guide points in the night sky needed build these impressive serpent mounds were killed and had their land stolen." The Serpent Mound is cool: Serpent Mound Historical Site, an Ohio State Memorial located near Hillsboro, Chillicothe (greatserpentmound.com) -

I haven't read the Bell Curve in 35 years, and have forgotten 95-99% of what I read, but one thing I know wasn't in there was hate speech or white supremacist speil. It would have stood out and I wouldn't have appreciated it as much as I did at the time if any was present. -

Being $33 trillion in debt isn't much of a problem if the ungrateful America-hating leftoid termites inherit it. They're parasitic and cancerous. Fock 'em. Sure, tear it down. For those few of us left that actually like the founding principles of the country, that respect what it used to stand for and the beliefs we use to share, that appreciate how difficult it is to build a functional decent, and stable civilization, the hard work and sacrificed lives that brought it to be and kept it going through hard times, and want to see it flourish and succeed, it's more on an issue. -

That's too open-ended and I don't have time to sort through it. Maybe an article that explains why the US has gotten away with running up massive compounding debt every year (but two) for 40 years without tanking the economy and another explaining why being $33 trillion in debt isn't scary or much to worry about. -

This use to be my #1 issue for many years. As a teenager back in the 80s, the pundits on Sunday morning TV warned us that the children would have to pay all this spending and it pissed me off. Well now the children are 51 years old and the country has been consistently running up debt like mad the entire time except for a pause in the late 90s. Yet... I dunno. I don't understand why the country hasn't gone bellyup, drowning in red ink. I've been anticipating the moment that Wile E. Coyote looks down ever since President Clinton left office. Somehow, despite four presidents in a row, together with their Congresses, not giving a sh*t, that day has never arrived. Fock if I know how the ship stays afloat. -

We're coming full circle and everything is starting to make sense now. The problem isn't Baltimore schools. This situation occurs because Baltimore is where Biden goes when he wants to make human sacrifices to Baal. Personally, I'd choose the drug dealers, troublemakers, and dropouts rather than the ones that can pass the state math exam, but I'm not in charge of the selection process. I guess if you're out to kill the smart ones, you have no choice. -
I think rich leftoids can enjoy the weather and hire the illegal aliens to keep all the transgender pooping zombies away. That's the advice I'd give Paul Pelosi at any rate.

Scientist reveals X-ray results on 2 'alien' bodies - and says they're NOT fake (msn.com) Was ready to put it to rest as a hoax but the mummies actually passed the first round of tests. Still lots of skeptics out there and the matter remains unresolved. I'll be waiting for a team of skeptical scientists to look at them and either debunk the claims or change their mind and accept them. -

Well this is rather surprising... one instance and its not particularly juicy Here you are calling Daniel Penny a murderer for subduing a violent lunatic ... Marine doing Marine sh!t - Page 14 - The Geek Club - FFToday Forums But that's all I got. Even in criticizing Penny, there weren't any tears shed for the left's beloved Michael Jackson impersonator. Further, what surprised me is that you regularly stayed out contentious threads like Mikaya Bryant, Jacob Blake, Garrett Foster, and even Kyle Rittenhouse/Joseph Rosenbaum entirely and when you did post in them, such as with the bodega stabbing or Patrick Lyoya, nothing was out of sorts. I was not expecting this. Whatever arguments that were had in those threads were with somebody else. So you don't jump on the cops in any contentious threads nor have much of a problem when the trash gets taken out by ordinary people in bad situations after all. Trannys, drag queens and sexual deviants are a different story. But so far as defending the violent scum who died by inviting retaliation, that hasn't been your concern. I accused you of that and I came up almost entirely empty-handed. I'm stopping looking and I owe you an apology. Sorry.

'Alien bodies' put through X-ray machines and CT scans in Mexico - YouTube Was ready to give up on this but the tomography, X-Ray and fluoroscopy analysis is more compelling than I presumed they'd be. Still, all along I've wanted the DNA evidence, if they're bone they've got DNA or a believable explanation why they do not. The way the doctor handles the thousand year old mummy seemed... odd... -

More specifically me. I'll save my ammo for next time that theRealTim or someone else brings it up. it's just that the systemic racism fruit is just so delectably juicy in a thread about Baltimore schools. People know that of course liberals blame systemic racism for Baltimore's schools because they always blame systemic racism for all their failures. I knew this'd be here before doing a google search because I don't live under a rock: Racism In Baltimore County Schools Detailed In Forum | WYPR Baltimore is entirely the liberals' and teacher's union baby. "Systemic racists" as they define it shoudn't exist there since they've had eternity to solve it. (Well they do exist because systemic racists are mostly liberals but that's another story). Alright, other liberals here reflexively blame the invisible and ethereal "systemic racism" rather than themselves for their own failed policies. You didn't, your transgression was to disregard the solution and tossed it in the garbage. "I can do it" is what Baltimore students need to hear rather than endless excuses that are 60 years old about whitey keeping them down but, fair enough, you didn't make the second point, only the first.
