I dunno. The Vikings outplayed the Bucs, but gave up three costly turnovers as well as a 57 yard FG. Their luck from last year in close games didn't make it through the offseason but they're likely to still be relevant. A few days ago, we did out predictions of who makes the playoffs and who doesn't. Were I to red-do my picks after week one, I'd swap out the Seahawks and replace them with the Packers. The Seahakws looked horrible in the second half of week one against the Rams.

NFC swept the AFC week one.... Lions > Chiefs, Eagles > Patriots, Saints > Titans, 49ers > Steelers LOL @ Raiders in first place in the AFC West
-
Was hoping Jordan Love would suck. He's had an impressive camp and then scored on his first career drive and went on to put up more points in week one than any other team... of course he played the Bears but that's still impressive. If this team hits on a QB again... well, I have about 40 more years on this planet...

Seahawks lost both their starting tackles against the Rams.

What a great ending to Dolphins/Chargers.
-
Hope you're still tuned in.

I was expecting the Bears to improve this year while the Packers regress and meet somewhere in the middle. at 7-10/6-11 or so... doesn't seem to be the case. The Pack is still much better than the Bears in week one and Jordan Love is looking quite competent. The Bears can make anyone look good, but this is another indication that GB will have solid, if not Hall of Fame worthy QBing going forward.

A friend was saying how giving an offseason, team will figure out Purdy. Well, Pittsburgh didn't.
-
Eagles were already championship worthy and then had as good an offseason as could be expected. I'll be rooting against them all year out of fear and respect. I predict the Lions to win their division and a home playoff game but I've a feeling the Lions season ends in Lincoln Financial Field.

God is smiling on the USA again. Fock off.

Rooting for the Bears defense. I'm not happy with reports out of Green Bay training camp. I wanna see Jordan Love have a slow start, a mediocre career, and go back to holding a clipboard in four years.

Michigan State head football coach got the hots for a rape victim advocate and allegedly crossed the line with her. He'd signed a really long contract with lots of guaranteed money that didn't make demands on performance but did require him to not embarass the school with inappropriate conduct. MSU just dealt with the Larry Nasser fiasco a couple of year ago. This story is moving really fast.

Is it official then? Oh my...

Hats off to the Browns D. Joe Burrow went 14/31 for 82 yards while Cinci get 75 yards rushing. That's pretty amazing, did anyone see this game? Browns may well have a team this year for once.

Looking at that now. 4th and 6 from the 11 with 2:17 left down by four. He had three timeouts and the two minute warning... and he send in the FG unit. That's a hard conversion but if you fail it, the ball is deep in enemy territory and need a TD next time if you fail this time, Kicked the FG, got them to 3rd and 6 with 1:55 left. Get a stop there with plenty if time to get back in FG range was the ideal result ... nope. Didn't work out that way.
-
That's another thing that [issed me off in the Lions - Chiefs game. The punt returner pins his feet at the 10 yard line ... if the ball goes over his head, so be it, props to the punter, let it bounce.
-
How do you get a score of 16-15 .... 5 FGs vs 1TD and 3 FGs. Eight FGs between them, Kansas City isn't the only team missing Travis Kelce.
-
Cleveland has Joe Burrow kryptonite. Also LOL at the Viqueens winning the yardage battle 369 to 242 but three turnovers and a 57 yard FG get them bounced at home. Looks like they lost their 2022 voodoo.

Going there in two is even more crazy than going there in three,

That makes better sense actually. the D had enough talent to compensate for that greedy MFer Since their QB's only offensive weapon is 33/34 years old whose durability may be finally catching up to him, they're far better served ponying up for another Tyreek or JuJu. Jones will come back in week eight, he'll be there for the playoffs, then let him walk. -

Kelce opens things up and the Chiefs need him desperately. Jones surprisingly was less missed. On passing plays, the Lions O-Line kept the pocket clean most all the time, I think only one time Jackson got beat for a sack. here weren't very many pressures and Jones would have helped there plus a sack or two, but still, pressure or no, the rest of the defense was stout enough to make up the difference. And not just passing, the running D passed the eye test as well. It was Kelce's absence that was more costly. And you're right, Rice was the most productive WR of the bunch. Marvin Jones looked bad for the Lions out there at WR2, but Josh Reynolds was servicable. Hopefully they can hold the fort until Jaemo returns and then Jaemo actually produces rather than stink up the joint. -

Mahomes is surrounded by turds on offense. Chiefs could send their entire WR and RB corp, along with their overwhelmed crappy-ass even when cheating OT, into the stands to hawk food and beverages. Replace them with Snow White and her seven diverse and equitable miner friends on league minimum contracts, then use the money saved to pay Chris Jones. Mahomes could still pass for 226 yards. The cupboards are focking bare. Seriously, every practice squad in the league is full of players of at least this caliber, if not better. -
Michigan use to play Notre Dame and another decent-good non-conference team, plus one powder puff each year. This year, their non-conference schedule is East Carolina, UNLV, and Bowling Greem. Fock off. I use to criticize teams like Kansas State that did this cr@p, now the Wolverines do it. I should have tuned in to Colorado/TCU last week even though I don't care about those programs, just to see the Dion Sanders drama and entertaining football instead of focking East Carolina. This week I didn't tune in to anything at all. Props to MSU for putting Washington on their schedule. I don't fault them for putting on Central Michigan either, these in-state programs sometimes pull out a win against them and it's really a big deal for these schools to have a shot at MSU. It makes their season when they occasionally win.

Congrats to all the corporate globalist uniparty insider lobbyists out there.
