If you're going to have hate crimes, racial insults followed by physical assaults on victims should meet the textbook definition. But who knows what liberals think? They have this "you have to be in power to oppress anyone mentality" such that when they're in power, their preferred minority cannot oppress anyone. Also, everything is filtered through a racial lens to them, so who knows. Things that are obvious to everyone are sometimes obvious to liberals too. Other clear situations aren't obvious to liberals, we re-learned that again in the O'Shae thread. Whatever corporate left media tells them to think is what their opinion is; they don't want to get kicked out of the club by demonstrating independent thought, even in the face of a mountain of evidence.

Amazingly, you're not the only one who sees this; somehow every activist in New York agrees. I'd call this a sort of cultural Rorschach test, but in a Rorschach test, I can invariably re-look and see the vase or the young woman or thee bird or whatever it was that I didn't see it the first time. In this instance, I can't. Your position is utterly lost on me. "The victim didn't instigate" part is jawdroppingly amazing. How can this thought be conceived when the dude is storming through a gas station and goes through a guy trying to calm him down, in order to attack the kid who is running away from him? It's beyond words baffling. Incomprehensible. All I see is justifiable self defense. The "hate" part, maybe. Maybe. Clearly, something set him off but there's no audio. Whether it was "please move, your half hour dance recital is intimidating customers" or every insult imaginable, I don't know. We'll see if witness testimony converges or diverges. Even at it's worst, it doesn't justify what OShae'd done, which was put himself in a 'play stupid games win stupid prizes' situation.

The new system sucks. Hopefully that is obvious to everyone and it's transition stage into something sane. I don't like Patweiser's idea per se, I far prefer it to go back to how it was, but since that seems irreparably broken at this point , getting worse with each day even, and I am in denial and pining for the impossible, then he starts to make more sense.
