Tim is so deep in the weeds that he will go to his grave thinking the DEI anal purge to be unnecessary and wrongheaded. -
Kilmar Abrego Garcia Thread - Garcia may be deported to Eswatini
Voltaire replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
I'd think you'd want to memory hole that thing. Isn't it obvious that the border bill last year was both unecessary and an unserious farce? All that was needed was a change of president and border policy. The border is controlled now and no new bill was required. One of bigggest recent examples of the Democrats failure, impotence, and incompetence. -
I'm going to go ahead and throw a name out there.

Democrats are perfectly fine with having as many illegals flooding in at will without need of documentation, but should someone have the temerity to want to send one back, each individual gets a taxpayer provided lawyer, two appeals, and three years of welfare benefits before they can be moved out. Oh wait, there's a slight chance that one that got sent to hos home country wasn't a gang banger, lets take him back, -

The guy is an El Salvadoran in El Salvador. That's quite convenient isn't it? Double check his claims and if he's not actually a gang member, let him walk out of the prison. If he were a different nationality, a Honduran (for example), a bus ticket to Honduras would be appropriate. This 'return to the US' stuff is whack. -

You're right. It is a personal insult directed at you. Its also really good so far as personal insults go - its unique and creative- one I'd not ever seen hurled at anyone before. -
Looks like they did get debunked. https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/scientists-assert-alien-mummies-peru-are-really-dolls-made-earthly-bones-2024-01-13/ edit: No, its an ongoing process https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-14418841/Scientists-studying-alien-mummies-Peru-probing-mouths.html

Thanks for the reminder. It got memory holed and I forgot about this. At the time, I presumed it would be debunked in short order but if that happened, I never saw the follow up.

They claim they don’t support it. Then they vote for it, accept it, and criticize people who stand up to it. -

Posters here claim they don’t support it but they vote for it ten times out of ten and sure don’t mind telling those of us that find it disgusting to shut up and accept it. -

You’d think proof of ID and paper ballots would be noncontroversial but Democrats oppose them for (fill in the blank) reasons. -

Should she chose, she's invited to run again for California governor in two years or president in four. California voters have already gone in for her multiple times and have proven that they will elect anybody with a D next to their name. They must like the results they are getting from the Ds. Meanwhile, it'd be racist/sexist for national Democrats to nominate somebody other than her for president.

There's a focking five alarm fire going on down here. This is a heavily Republican district and should be a slam dunk for the GOP. Unfortunately, the GOP candidate is Jimmy Patronis, the biggest focking stiff I've ever seen "run for office". The dude doesn't even live in the district and he's put in zero effort to try to win it. The dude is totally AWOL. Non-existent. I put "run for office" in quotes because his name is on the ballot but there is no actual running. What a focking loser. So, you know the deal with Matt Gaetz. Anyway, Trump says, "I endorse this a$$hole from somewhere else, who cares, Jimmy Petronis for the open seat." Well, Petronis declares but then he stopped trying. That is as much as he's done. He's treating Trump's Congressional district endorsement like a gift-wrapped ugly sweater he doesn't want to wear. He didn't even show up to the Republican debate. he won the primary by default because Trump endorsed him an all the other candidates split the trying hard vote. I haven't seen nor hear or see any Petronis ads in the mail or radio. Who I HAVE heard from and who is seriously putting time, effort, and money into running is the Democrat, Gay Voldemort. Everything I know about Jimmy Petronis, I learned from Gay Voldemort and everything I know about Gay Voldemort I learned from Gay Voldemort. She's running a totally centrist campaign and never ever, mentions her toxic party affiliation. The election is April 1st and the only reason I know that is because the Voldemort campaign told me. The best candidate here, and the one who deserves to win, is the Democrat and it's not close. I'm voting for this bum Petronis, but I have never been this dejected to vote for somebody before. The only reason I'm voting for such an unethused and uninspiring a$$hole is the R after his name. If he bothers to vote at all, it'll be for Trump's agenda. Meanwhile, if Voldemort goes to Congress, she'll get the same Borg implants that every other Democrat has. Petronis is singularly the worst candidate I've ever seen 'run' for office in my life. If he wins this race election, and he should because our district is ruby red, he'll replace Kamala Harris and Jumanji Jackson as the poster child for "didn't earn it".

Sitcom Characters Who Would Have 2B Killed In Real Life
Voltaire replied to easilyscan's topic in The Geek Club
Interesting. Now that I think about it, yes, the real life actor deserves killing more than any sitcom character I grew up watching. -
RIP Val Kilmer. Great actor in many memorable roles.

Larry, Darrell, and Darrell were hilarious in their role in Newhart, but if they were your real life neighbors, they'd need to be disposed of in order to keep your sanity. -

One tweet, posted by Trump, is pretty much the entirety of the effort the GOP put into this race.

My mom's friend is named "Gay." it was a legitimate girl's name and use to just mean 'happy' when she was given that name in the 40s, before "those people" hijacked it. Just like "queer" use to just mean unusual. I got a refresher of that just the other day because I came across it as I was reading "Jerry Muskrat" online with what's left of the students from my school in China.
