This game is entertaining in a comedic sort of way.

I'd not realized that you'd been here before.

Glad Philly has to deal with the winner of this while the Lions get the Redskins.

LA Wildfires, 100K people evacuated and counting

Only one person, Horseman, is cheering on more fires. Under normal circumstances, many of us, including me, poke jokes at Californians as being woke idiots, but we do have enough class to set the jokes aside in times of emergency. I despise their politics but I don't want to see their Sodom and Gomorrah -esque communities burned to the ground. This fire is a good opportunity for Californians to re-evaluate their governing ideals and DEI practices but in the mean time, I wish their gay woman fire chief every success. Also everyone paying attention knows that California has had serious water management issues dating back forever. This is an example of the tenor of the conversation from six months ago ... rinse repeat from the 80s and earlier... https://calmatters.org/environment/water/2024/07/california-water-conservation-rules-adopted/ Fock all do I know about California water policy to advise them on what to do or not, but I do know that when the firefighters attach a hose to a fire hydrant and no water comes out, somebody made a bad call and that somebody is probably Gavin Newsom. -

"Polar vortex" my ass. They're all such focking poosays around here whining endlessly about the cold. You would not believe. One second of suffering because the door handle is metal. Horrors! No snow and my breath doesn't even frost at 6:30 AM. I wear a light jacket in the morning and I take it off in the afternoon. Truthfully, maybe I'd take a hat and gloves with me if I were to be outside all day but its optional. I've certainly been caught without in far worse conditions. In all honesty and sincerity, in Detroit, I'd call this "a nice fall day." If you're going to be outside for hours to watch your local high school's homecoming game, this is the weather you hope to get. -
He's too deeply invested in his simplistic "a pox on both sides" jargon.

I'd roll with Hardcore Sh*t Human Being. I don't think he's an idiot, I know why you would, but this name change isn't something I agree with him on. The name "Gulf of Mexico" didn't bother in the slightest. Since I don't know why the name needs updating either, I'd leave well enough alone. To me, "Gulf of America" sounds like 'Freedom fries," "Fort Liberty (et all)," and "Latinx" although the all time champ remains "menstruating people". -
What does that mean? The Dolphins would be in the playoffs if Tua didn't miss so many games. The Steelers look exposed as pretenders but are still a division rival with excellent coaching. Houston sucks, The Rams should have more Ws but lost a lot of games early with the injury bug riding them. I gave Chicago credit for being better than their record. Am I over-ranking Minny? As a Lions fan, I'd much rather play them than the Rams but I think they are better than the Rams.

Best bet is Chargers to cover at only -2.5. LAC has their act together while Houston is the tallest midget in the AFC South that would have trouble hitting .500 anywhere else. I like the Ravens and Bills but 8.5 and 7.5 respectively both seem too rich for me so I'm out. I'll take the underdogs and their points to keep it competitive. The Bears are much better than their record so getting bit in the ass by them is no embarrassment for Green Bay. Its more that the Packers haven't played competitive ball vs the elite teams. I like Philly to cover. Redskins vs Bucs is essentially a coinflip IMO so I just took the 3 points. Granted the Vikings just got embarrassed by the Lions, but I still think of them as the 3rd elite NFC team. The Rams truly are the best of the very good NFC one step ahead of the Pack, Redskins, and Bucs but are still a tier down from the top three and 2.5 is too low.

Rusty already did so in overwhelmingly convincing fashion and you confirmed it was true yourself when you threatened him in that other thread to release more. -

Pelosi never had to deal with a majority this small. Any two or three people can throw a wrench in the works. It'll be an incredibly difficult balancing act to pull off if he does. hopefully he succeeds in holding everyone together. This session has the potential to be epic if the infighting doesn't sink it. -
Whatever Aaron Glenn cooked up with his patchwork defense worked against a very good offense. If the Lions D can stop a solid O like the Vikings, they an stop anyone. And with the bye, they'll hopefully start getting people back.

Mysterious Fog Across America Brings Illness And Panic

I'm rolling with the idea that the drones are the ones responsible for spraying the fog everywhere. i wanna run the idea by Alex Jones to check the accuracy but I can't find him online anymore, for some reason. -
Ten Dead And Thirty Injured Last Night In New Orleans
Voltaire replied to BunnysBastatrds's topic in The Geek Club
Remember that while Notre Dame Cathedral was still on fire, and ever since then, were already being assured that it wasn't arson. Threre's been a spare of fires in Catholic churches all across France in the last dozen years but arson was ruled out right off the bat. Authorities always have a great sense for these things. -
I'm going to go ahead and throw a name out there.

John Quincy Adams became the leading anti-slavery champion in the House of Representatives for many decades after his presidency and William Taft sent on o become a Supreme Court Judge. But point taken.... anybody recent.
