When I typed this, I thought I was just joking, not making predictions. I'm not usually ever this good.

I had thought that Justin Fields was a good QB in a bad situation in Chicago and so I'm glad the Jets gave him a chance for a fresh start elsewhere, but this is just not working out either. If a Baker Mayfield/ Sam Bradford/ Geno Smith / (Mac Jones?) resurgence comes along, its not on the horizon any time soon.

The Jets defense forces a fumble deep in Denver territory, they got a field goal. Their special teams unit returns a kick deep into Denver territory, where they another field goal. The Jets are only down 10-6. If their defense and special teams can provide them with two more balls deep in Denver territory, they can win this game.
  7. Well there's a lot of partisan smoke going around in the circles where you get your news. He does gets sued constantly and reflexively on pretty much everything with some bullsh*t explanation, but that's most always based on activist lawyers and lower court judges making sh*t up and pretending its real. Upon closer examination, time and again, he's proven right on the law way more than he is wrong. So he gets accused of this ... then .... oopsie... he was right all along and the people claiming he broke the law were just fantasizing and found to be full of sh*t. Exacerbating that feeling is that frequently, when he doesn't win a ruling, he often follows the ruling to the least possible technical interpretation he can plausibly come up with. but then, since most of those rulings are not based on the actual law but rather on the imagination of partisan Biden appointees, they get overturned on appeal. Until then though, he does follow them and in instances where he loses the appeal too, he grudgingly accepts it. Now, this applies in 100% of the cases as far as I know. If it doesn't, tell me where I'm wrong. He does things. he gets sued in sued in New York City of San Francisco where the litigants know that some asswipe Communist lower court judge with a law degree from Columbia and an more often than not with a name resembling Jumanji Falafel Momofekktard, who had been appointed by Biden, will preside over the case and make a ruling against him. At this point, people like you say he broke the law. Then Trump complies but meanwhile, he appeals. Then he wins. Then people like you still say he broke the law.

If not her, another whackjob Democrat, less fugly, will arrive on the scene. I'll say this much, since Nancy Pelosi doesn't like her because she had tried to ban insider trading while in Congress, she may be the least corrupt. When choosing among Democrats, you often have to sniff around for the least smelly turd. Agreeing with her 1% of the time, that issue being Congressional insider trading, makes her stand out more than the other Democrats who they agree with 0% of the time. The Michelin Man's Sister should have answered that way about the question of how to appeal to Trump voters. It would put her worlds ahead of candidates like that significantly less unattractive insider trading crook Mickie Sherrell running for the Dem nomination in New Jersey.
  9. Trump abides by all the laws. Even the fake ones, that don't actually exist, but that lower court partisan hack judges fabricate wholly from imaginary laws and materials pulled out of their asses and pretend exist. Eswatini Man himself, being brought back from El Salvador, and still not in Eswatini, is actually physical proof of Trump abiding by court orders. If Border Czar Kamala, Alejandro Mayorkas, and/or the person responsible for Biden's autopen had respected the rule of law, none of this would have been necessary.
  10. The dude has MS 13 tattoos on his knuckles. Not the letters/numbers M - S - 1 and 3, which were added to the photo of his hand to make the point, but the marijuana leaf, smilie face, cross, and skull under the letters Plus he was pulled over two states from home with an SUV full of eight migrants with no luggage. Plus the domestic abuse charges. Plus the soliciting child porn. This guy is a flaming bag of sh*t. Why you guys focus on him and the Hamas propagandist, America hating communist from Columbia rather than any one of the far, far better sob stories, like the one of cancer kid US citizen with two deported parents, is beyond me.
  11. Are there enough American workers in rural areas to provide the farm labor needs? Those small towns in the area around Lake Eufaula in SE Alabama where we stayed for a few days of water recreation on the way back from my daughter's graduation from basic training seemed rather depressed. If farm labor paid a good wage, it would help them a lot it seems to me. Also the ongoing problem of big-Agra farms buying up all the farmland from family farms, not being a farmer myself, nor seeing much about it lately in the news, its hard to gauge how extensive that problem has become. Anyway, if there is simply not enough domestic labor to go around to perform the work that needs doing, this carveout expansion of H2B visas for farm labor seems the right policy. That said, I'm not sure that artifically lowering the wages of farm labor work is going to do the people in communities like the one I visited in Abbeville, Alabama any good where good paying jobs are already hard to find.

Apparently, they've identified a pool of money available to pay the troops when their paychecks come due on October 15th. Hopefully it comes from unspent Build Biden's Bullsh1t funds. https://www.dailywire.com/news/get-our-troops-paid-trump-says-he-wont-let-military-suffer-due-to-dem-shutdown?topStoryPosition=undefined&author=Virginia+Kruta&category=News&elementPosition=0&row=1&rowHeadline=Top+Stories&rowType=Top+Stories&title=‘Get+Our+Troops+Paid’%3A+Trump+Says+He+Won’t+Let+Military+Suffer+Due+To+Dem+Shutdown

M.I.T. rejects White House funding deal

I just want you to be a permanent minority in the US Senate and House. I know full well that blue states will be flooding Congress with Borgs, I just hope they don't reach 50 on the Senate nor 218 in the House, which is scary considering what happens in the last 15 years when that occurs. This two year window is temporary and only a nice respite when the flowers bloom, birds chirp happily, and the sky is cloudless sunny and bright. That rainbow over there is lovely, happy, and pure. It contains no trace of degenerate pervert connotation whatsoever. We have to be vigilant to protect the place because every two years your collection of communist orc, Hamas, tranny, goblin, antifa sh*tbags get another shot at detonating Mordor's volcanic lava again. As for New Jersey just like any other Satan-inspired leftoid cesspit, I can choose not to live there and so do not. Its your preogative to put that crooked dingbat that cheated her way through college and then got rich doing insider trading in Congress. Just like New York City gets Mumdani, and California gets Newsome and Porter. That's you guys getting what you want and exactly what you richly deserve. New Jersey also gets congressional representation and so you stuck the country with Mr. Potatohead and for a long time that openly crooked Menendez. Now you have that new Korean guy, that I don't know anything about, but presume has already had his Borg implants installed or else he wouldn't be there.
  19. Glad the wheels are finally turning again. Democrats never build or do anything, see the high speed rail lines or homeless shelters or solar panel installations in California, but they have great talent at mucking up the works so that nothing happens, except the legal bills that prevents anything from happening, which grow exponentially and is how they all get paid.

I don't know where that came across, but after witnessing twenty-five years of your reading comprehension struggles, I'm use to it. I like free and open exchange of ideas and authoritarian state is you Biden guys projecting your own faults onto Trump when he does a 3-10% Biden on things in reverse. Biden's autopen controller was exponentially worse at authoritarianism than Trump, jsut like you whackos are so much more prone to violence than normal people.. What happened 98% of the time is, I think about what you were advocating, reconsidered my position, and then come to the conclussion that you guys are batshit crazy and I've either been in vicinity, if not smack on the money, of been right about everything all along. Well, 98%, not everything.

Maximum Overkill believes in maximum overkill. For me, I just want to live in a community, state, country where you guys are totally irrelevant to my life, but I don't begrudge you living your life and governing yourselves however you want to either. I can chose my community and state and you can too. So long as you have zero influence on national politics, I don't care.

Navy Federal Credit Union is offering 0% loans to people affected to help them get through. Hopefully other institutions do the same. I was in the Army, not Navy but this is a big time Navy town with a big time Navy presence, and membership in the credit union is open to all veterans.

I don't know who is responsible for this alias to verify but hopefully the truth seeps into your head and you will give up this line of dismal going forward. With the track records of leftoids around here, I don't like the odds but I've never interacted with this alias before to know.

    MLB 2025

Team can't score. Also, another embarrassing showing by me. I fell asleep in the 13th inning and so only learned the result after I woke up. This personal epidemic of falling asleep to sports games is entirely new to this year. Its been happening with exciting NFL games between two teams, but teams I have no emotional interest in. It also occurs while listening to podcasts that were/had been fascinating to me ... even as I passed out anyways. That this has now happened with a Detroit team in a crucial winner take all situation, is the worst example. I'd not had this issue before but on rare occasions. Now its so commonplace to me.

We'd read the expectations in a different thread and it was so mild, milquetoast, and common sensical that it would be painless for anyone but hardcore DEI advocates to accept. But Universities admissions offices are full to the brim with hardcore DEI radicals that don't want to reform, they just want to camoflage it with new words and wait for Trump to go away in four years. They have to be dragged to sanity kicking and screaming the entire way. Its a big reason we need another eight years of Vance after these four of Trump in order for the institutional memory of DEI to be extinguished.
