http://www.geocities.com/satori85/Chat.htm?x=51&y=16 we used this last year for the league i commish and as i recall it worked great. just ask bluepointer pik t-run 95. although it won't give you all the automatic stuff you want. i don't really know anything about the yahoo live draft. personally i prefer the flexibility of an "offline" draft. Imho, USE THE CHAT! It's sooo easy Zap. Yahoo Suxors. Chat is great because it's fast and organized, while yahoo "live" has a 1:30 time limit on picks no matter what. Plus people can look in on the chat if they want to follow the draft, unlike on yahoo, where it is only open to people in the league to look in. I have done hundreds of yahoo live drafts and TJ's "Live Chat" was better then every one of them. I'm really up for inreasing d players to 3-3-3 even. Also, anyway we can start the draft a little later on that Thursday? are people drafting from work? I mean I'll come back from the beach early to make the 3:00 start time but the wife is gonna kill me.

    Final Comments

Who you callin' a newbie, squirt? Good advice, and there seems to be more exceptions to the rule rising up these days. At least at the FS and CB spot. I wasn't calling you a newbie, I just hate letting you in on anything that may help you in the real GOID draft.

    Final Comments

Good job all! I have one final bit of advice for the IDP newbies. In a league like this that does not require specific D positions (Cornerbacks, Safties, Linebackers, Defensive Ends and Defensive Tackles), stay away from Cornerbacks and Defensive Tackles. The reason for this is that they don't usually get as many tackles or even assisted tackles as the other positions. They may get a sack or interception once in a while but those are almost impossible to predict, while tackle numbers are pretty consistant from year to year. Strong Safties tend to get alot more tackles then Free Safties so they should usualy go first. Also for this reason when taking LB's take MLB's first, WLB's second and finally strong siders. There is always an exception to the rule(Indy's SSLB's are usually better than their WLB's imo because of the defensive scheme they run) but you will be better off 99% of the time if you follow these guidelines. Finally Defensive Ends are very top heavy IMO and unless you can get a top one early clean up on your MLB's and your Strong Safties and then get a young DE with upside late or even one off week one waivers. I hope this advice helps you newbies(but not Zap) and good luck to everyone in your IDP leagues.
