12 days isn’t weeks. So, squistion appears to be wrong. He escorted 4 families. Again, squistion saying he’s been doing this for weeks would seem to imply he’s done this far more than 4 times. Why was he recording it? I’d venture to guess for publicity. And I think he just got exactly what he was looking for.

I just read an article on CNN about the incident. I’m now 100% convinced it was a publicity stunt. “Lander, who is running in a crowded Democratic mayoral primary set to take place next week, had been monitoring immigration court activity in the past few days, walking alongside migrants as they exited their court appointments in response to reports that the migrants were being taken into custody by federal agents following court appearances.” He escorted 4 families out previously. Note - squistion said Lander had been doing this for weeks. Is CNN wrong or squistion? If he only escorted 4 families, it certainly makes sense that it was just over the last few days.

So his job is to escort immigrants out of the court house? Locked arms? It’s odd to me then that he didn’t know how to respond when agents show up to arrest someone that he’s escorting. Hopefully he learned his lesson.

Not necessarily. If his end end goal was to seek publicity, he very well may have refused to accept the validity of the paperwork.
