I've made the argument that Kane is like someone running the 4 minute mile when people were wondering if the 4:30 would ever be broken. It was just so far ahead of it's time, but today it's hard to appreciate it for it's achievement when we see the 4 minute mile done by HS kids today.

Yes, it took long enough that the large soda was a mistake. Very different from the first. As I've have said a lot I work in video production-I went more to just see the effects and I was not disappointed. The upgraded CGI was incredible over the first and the fluid sims blew my mind. I can remember the SFX stuff, but the story---I blue people went to see other blue people by the water, and there were alien whales...fock I don't know, but it looked awesome.
