Based on recent Scotus decisions, I think it will require a constitutional amendment to end this abuse. And while we are doing that, let's end the electoral college too, which outlived it's reason for existence when slavery ended. We could call it the Free and Fair Elections Amendment.

I'm not going to bother with what-aboutism, it's wrong. It makes it nearly impossible for people to remove a badly performing elected party and it needs to end. But, you are wrong as usual. And as I pointed out earlier, operation REDMAP was in 2010, something else you managed to avoid reading.

California, the state that appointed an independent commission to divide the state and will need to have a new election if they are to follow through and actually gerrymander the state in response to Texas. You might want to actually read before saying stuff like that. And I've been on record being against gerrymandering in numerous threads and that's been for all states(again try reading). But ever since the SCOTUS decided it was all right for all the GOP states to legally gerrymand and they have been doing it more and more, I'll less inclined to care when blue states do it now.
