I have made commercials, install videos and others for a company that makes tankless water heaters, so Im not an expert and I'm getting my information from their marketing-but everything I've seen says they use less energy. They aren't storing and constantly keeping water hot---it's on demand. Again-I'm just working for the marketing people-but generally there has to be some truth in advertising.
