I don't find anything objectionable to any of those posts. If anything, I take more offense at honoring Chavez, but not as much as calling an American "human scum" on Memorial Day.

Okay, I have the ages off. Mac had a run in the semis in the US Open 1990 when he was have been 32. In 91, Jimmy had a run to the semis in the Open when he was 39 and Mac was 33. It was nearly 30 years ago---cut me some slack.

I have him at 3. Fed and Djokovic did it on more surfaces, but 14 wins at a single major...

They both did it as huge underdogs. Mac did it in 90 at 30 and Jimmy did it the next year at 39. My grandfather(still alive) loved Mac(he's Irish) and I guess that's why I remember that run so vividly. We watched together as Mac played some guy we hadn't heard of...Pete Sampras and we were sure Mac was going to win... I don't know why, but if you had bet me who made his run last---I would have bet a million dollars that it was Mac. I would have sworn Jimmy did it the year before John.

Most of the time I just order Mexican popcorn---nachos with cheese. But since I'm seeing the movie at 6:15 tonight, I might go for sliders and fries.

I was hoping he would have a run like McEnroe did at the US open for his final...unexpected and would make it to the semi's at least. McEnroe was 30 during that run and Nadal is 37 today---crazy how these guys are competitive so much longer. Great career, great forehand by a lefty. If you have played a lot of tennis(righty), you know how messed up it is to face a lefty with a good forehand.

We have to get in line and order food at both theaters I frequent, but they deliver the food to your seat. I'm working out my junk food order for tonight right now.

We have a couple of theaters like that in GR, love em. Sadly, I think Covid+streaming will eventually kill the big screen experience, but as long as they make movies like Furiosa, I will shell out my money to see them at the theater.

Not if you are going to see it on Imax, which I am at 6 today.
