What I'm wondering about is how much does it play into the game that they both run the same offense developed when Shanny and MLF were assistants together? -

I'll never get why in cold weather games, guys don't wear sleeves. It costs the body energy to keep you warm. It just puts a player at a disadvantage by being cold.

Yes, let's apply that logic. Since there are more white people, let's give black people more votes to even things out. -

They are not, that's why they are apportioned a different amount of congressman. Thomas Jefferson on why the Constitution should be reevaluated every 19 years. The world changes and the Constitution should be updated to recognize that. -

Anyone getting Peacock for the Chiefs game?
Mike Honcho replied to supermike80's topic in The Geek Club
Wish the NFL would offer there games à la carte. DirectTV/Youtube both went with the you want the Sunday Ticket, you have to buy every single game. It's not even possible to watch them all. Let me purchase my team, like MLB does so I only have to buy a Brewers Package. If they did that, I'd buy say red zone and the Packers every year, but they don't so I'll continue to free stream it. -

The EC and filibuster only exist today to give the minority power way to much power. We have 2 houses and an executive branch. If you want to pass anything, it needs to pass each of those three places, if it doesn't get enough votes to pass(or presidential veto), that's it. But no, because of a procedural accident, we have the filibuster, something that was never meant to exist...that allow a minority group to also stop any legislation from passing...You think that's what the founding fathers had in mine. Nope. During the Articles of Confederation it took 9 of 13 states to pass anything and things couldn't get done. The founding fathers had seen what happens when it requires a super majority to pass legislation and opted for a simple majority when they wrote the constitution. -

The 16 smallest states have a population of 18.98 and control 56 electoral votes. Califoronia has a population of 39.21 and has 54 electoral votes. The EC only exists because slave holding states generated the most money when the constitution was written, but had much smaller voting populations...so the EC was created to give them more power, otherwise the money states weren't going to join the union. It's archaic and should not be used to elect a president. It's why no other country in the world uses a system like this. Hell, every other election in this country is decided by popular votes. Imagine if a state said, well, we are going to give the people in this really small county, 5 votes per person cause they are richer than everyone else. People would riot, but the EC...no problem, it's always been done that way....so that MUST be the only way to do things. -

Squistion is absolutely correct. Wyoming: Population = 578,803 Electoral Votes 3 = 192,000 people per EC vote. California Pouplation: 39.21M, Electoral Votes, 54 = 792,000 people per EC vote. Small states have a totally disproportionate amount of power in the EC. -

True, they value it now because it makes there votes so much more valuable than larger states. It's insane that we decide our most powerful executive this way. And Schiff is absolutely right about the filibuster too, which only exists because of basically a parliamentary mistake. -

The electoral college only exists because states with large slave populations and the most money at the time, wanted there property(slaves) counted for purposes of political power. That's it. After that it's just more "lost cause" BS
