  8. You have a problem with govt. officials refusing to accept the results of an election and try to block the certification of said election?

    Sydney Sweeney makes it move

I think she's pretty hot, but I totally agree with you about it being a dumb sketch. That might have been the absolute laziest sketch that SNL has ever done...hot girls get more tips...whoa SNL, you sure you want to step out on to that ledge!
  11. Pretty sure he said exactly that.
  12. The courts have recognized that the President has immunity from suits arising from actions relating to "official duties". So if Obama walked out of the W.H. and shot somebody just because he felt like it, I think he would absolutely be charged. If Obama ordered a military strike and an American citizen died because of it, no he wouldn't be charged(unless there were some incredibly extenuating circumstances.) You really think, that a president could engage in my first example and if the house and senate didn't impeach and find him guilty, that he couldn't be charged? That's what a King gets to do and we revolted against that very idea.
  13. SCOTUS is taking up this very issue and I will be shocked if they reach that conclusion. Stay tuned for June when that decision arrives.
  14. Need to correct myself, it wasn't a jury trial, but a trail before a judge. Anderson v. Griswold As to your question---no I wouldn't be okay with it, but that's because the premise is ridiculous...and again, all I'm doing is pointing out that SCOTUS did not say they were disputing the fact finding of the lower court on the issue of insurrection, which I found interesting.
  15. A judge didn't say it, a jury did, after a trial.
  16. HT - you really should take this advice to heart. Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool than to Speak and Remove All Doubt
  17. Curiously, the decision didn't contest the lower courts ruling that DT did engage in an insurrection.
  18. Rich, you getting on people about not reading something.

The Supreme Court Must Be Stopped

What I agree with or not is immaterial; you proved my point exactly, you won't read anything that challenges your beliefs. Count the conservatives on the board, look at the threads where I post, disagree or not, I read the links that are presented, otherwise I'm not arguing in good faith. I'm putting you in the 'echo-chamber' geeks now when I respond to you, since you just told me you won't read things if you find them disagreeable. It's good to know, now I know how much time and thought I should give to your posts.
