I opened this thread because I searched for Springfield(I was going to make a joke about how we might all be eating dogs soon)...saw these first three posts - seemed a good time to revisit. I really like that Strike agrees with the OP about tariffs being a bad idea, but yesterday kept posting how the tariffs were "winning". Says a lot about Strike.

Also, I'm sure it's been posted, but we put tariffs on an island of penguins.

You only would have had to watch 25 seconds to see Trump say twice tariffs won't increase prices. He didn't say prices going up in the short term, he didn't say 'costs might go up' he said they won't increase prices.
