Nobody is against a strong military, evidenced by the fact we spend nearly 3X more than the 2nd biggest spender on military(I think that is insane and way too much of our GDP). I'm not informed enough to comment on the first responders in this particular situation, but another thing most people don't cheap out on. But I'm specifically talking about money for natural disasters, global warming issues and the like and the GOP doesn't have a great track record when it comes to things like that. See Texas a last year(?) when they were completely unprepared for a prolonged freeze, that experts had warned them would cause the exact results that happened. So, a GOP run California spending money on fire prevention, and such, I don't see it happening. We are speaking in hypotheticals though, so

I think the thread title should change to President Elect-Felon Donald J. Trump What I thought was crazy was 4 of the 9 Justices were open to hearing request to delay the sentencing. The conviction & sentencing can be appealed, so to ask to delay for the reasoning that you are too busy to attend a 30-45 minute zoom call is preposterous. Yet, somehow 4 justices felt they should consider this request. There will come a day when this court is compared to the Taney court that wrote the Dred Scott decision, and probably rank lower than them.

Are you implying that he could use a "security firm" to accomplish his business goals to acquire property but he didn't because he's not aggressive (your original point).
