That only seems like common sense. If I, for whatever reason, cannot physically set my lineup, I always call/text my opponent and Commish any changes. We've never needed a formal rule on the subject.

You ACTUALLY watched a nationally televised game? Gee, I made this thread purely on speculation. Sorry if you have some odd protectiveness regarding Norv Turner, but facts are facts: Mathews is averaging close to 5 yards per carry. I didn't base this thread on who I subjectively think "looks good". I based it on fact. And fact is, Turner is inexplicably failing to use his best back in many important situations. What is Brown's YPC?

I went out and traded Austin for McGahee today. Now Mathews can ride pine until he gets utilized properly.

Looks like I've got to roll with him as a bye week replacement, and I haven't seen a single carry! Does he have any potential?

Due to his fumbling problem. I'm not liking the recent comments from the coaching staff about limiting his role in "certain situations", after his last fumble was inside the 5. I'm actually considering starting Tate and Foster against Tennessee D, in my TD only league. I'm concerned that Battle might get the scoring opportunities.

No - you stated a bald assertion, with zero analysis or facts to support. I have no problem with anyone's opinion. If you think he'll "ruin my team", fine - just give me the benefit of your clear expertise and analysis.

Not that I want to have unproductive players, but lineup decisions are agonizing each week. I hate leaving points on the bench.

Austin (v. TB), or Floyd (v. ATL)? It's a TD only league, non-PPR. and while Percy is great, he isn't scoring TD's. Plus, the SF D looks damn good. I have Romo, so the "eggs in one basket" issue comes up if I start Austin. If Romo craps the bed, then it's a double whammy. Then, there's Floyd, who is the main man after Gates. Likely starting Mathews, so another "egg" problem. Any thoughts? Thanks for any feedback!

I know, I know - never bench your studs. That said - Green is playing Baltimore, and doesn't have a good history against them. Floyd going against the Raiders. Also have Nate Washington, who is intriguing this week. Just figured I'd ask, and see what folks think. Thanks for any input.

I specifically drafted Kevin Smith for this role. He can fill in the first couple of weeks (Rams to start with, too), while Mathews gets healthy. Sounds like Mathews is ahead of schedule, so that helps.
