  1. 12 team STD: Week 1: QB: Hurts RB: Henry Dillon Robinson Mostert Algeier Hilliard WR: Higgins Lamb Davis Aiyuk Bateman TE: Everett Week 9 Hurts RB: Henry Ekeler Foreman Herbert WR: T. Hill Higgins Lamb TE: Higbee Engram Likely
  2. Gurley apparently a go - let's bring home some championships boys! ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that, barring a setback in pre-game warmups, the Rams are "planning" on Todd Gurley playing in Arizona. Per Schefter, the Rams believe Gurley has "felt better as the week has progressed." It's hard to know what to believe with Gurley, but the Rams have certainly gone out of their way to make it appear as if he will play. Whether he will be diminished or on a snap count, no one really knows. It's possible one or both of John Kelly and C.J. Anderson will liberally mix in. Provided he's active, Gurley will be a high-risk, high-reward RB1 for the fantasy finals.
  3. Pray for Juju to play, at this point. Such a plum matchup for him. I have both Gurley and Juju, so I'm really scrambling.
  4. I lost by 5 focking points. Brees actually ended up in the negative for me in our scoring system, and I'm pretty darn bitter about it. Thanks for listening lol.
  5. Lol - A+ I drafted Allen in the 3rd, thus sacrificing quality at RB to do so. But I still have ODB and A Cooper, along with Fuller and Sharpe. Next man up!

    The WR trend

I just drafted from the 2 spot in a 12 team Standard league. Went WR for my first 3 picks: QB: Brees, Stafford RB: Hill, Gore, Foster, Ajayi, Ivory WR: Beckham, Cooper, K. Allen, T. Sharpe, Fuller TE: Allen, McDonald D: Denver K: Bailey I'm happy with the strategy. I got 3 WR1 while people were picking a variety of RB with question marks, but I did need to make sure to get 3 RB by the start of Round 8. Around that time, the remaining RB pool seemed to get hit hard again by a second wave, so that was the luckiest/best decision I made. It would obviously be even better in a PPR league.

    Gore

Ummm - are you required to wear a protective helmet?
  8. tbk420

    Gore

Frankly, I'm surprised he looks as good as he does at 45 years old

Post Your Ridiculous Wk. 2 Lineup

Agreed - yours was a stupid post. Should have thought more before hitting "Enter".

    Hill and Gio

I have both, and I'm rolling with Hill. I figure he gets the edge in goal line situations. I'm in a non-PPR league, though.

    TRADE OPINIONS WANTED

My team in non-PPR league: Non-PPR: QB Matt Ryan, Atl QB RB LeSean McCoy, Phi RB Alfred Blue WR Jordy Nelson, GB WR WR Golden Tate, Det WR TE Delanie Walker, Ten TE D/ST Panthers D/ST D/ST Flex: Eddie Royal WR SD K Mason Crosby, GB K Bench Julius Thomas, Den TE Bench Ben Tate, Cle RB Bench Emmanuel Sanders, Den WR Bench Jeremy Hill, Cin RB Bench Terrance West, Cle RB Bench Roy Helu, Wsh RB Bench Josh Gordon, Cle WR SSPD Bench Allen Robinson, Jac WR Bench Larry Donnell, NYG TE I need RB help, obviously. I would give up Jordy Nelson, Julius THomas, and Ben Tate. I would get Demaryius Thomas and Gio Bernard As far as TE, I'd be OK with rolling with Donnell or Walker weekly. I think Nelson is better than Thomas, but I also think Thomas is a buy low candidate, and will perform better. Bernard is an upgrade from Tate. So essentially, a downgrade at #1 WR and an upgrade at #2 RB. I give up a stud in Thomas for a lower quality TE, but should hopefully still get points from my remaining two. Thanks for any input! :-)
  12. Just saw that they are calling for 35-45 mph winds. Normally I'd love the matchup, but I could roll with Keenum vs. Jax. Any homers have the up to date conditions?

Weather going to mess with Romo?

Because they just can't help the pent-up 'roid rage that burns within them?
  14. FOCK YOU, Romo! I could have had more passing yards.
  15. tbk420

    Thomas or Gates?

Every week, same decision. Thomas vs. Indy - they have been tough against TE Gates vs. Jacksonville TD league, non-ppr

    Powell a sleeper today?

Not exactly off the radar, but I think he can do some damage against Tenn. as the workhorse.
  17. What a waste. I knew I was taking a risk drafting him as a #2, but never anticipated this putrid season.
  18. tbk420

    Crab or Smith

Like the starting lineup - I'd keep it as is.
  19. tbk420

    Romo or Kaepernick?

Romo vs. Pitt D (who I am starting) Kaepernick vs. NE D TD only league, on top of it all. Thanks for any help!

Percy Harvin back this week maybe?

ESPN 1500 Twin Cities reports Percy Harvin's Week 9 left ankle injury was a Grade 3 sprain, which means a complete ligament tear. The injury usually comes with a 4-6 week timetable, and Harvin is now in his fifth week of recovery. The Vikings were initially optimistic that Harvin could return Nov. 25 versus the Bears, but the pain has lingered and he's struggled to get in and out of his breaks. Harvin will reportedly attempt to practice on Wednesday and could play with a pain-killing injection on Sunday versus the Bears. Source : ESPN 1500 Twin Cities
  21. Per RW: Updated Nov. 29: Jaguars WRs Cecil Shorts (hamstring) and Justin Blackmon (groin) were both added to the team's injury report after sitting out Thursday's practice. The injuries have come out of the blue. It's unlikely that the Jags would hold two young players with seemingly fresh legs out of practice for rest purposes. We suspect the injuries occurred in Wednesday's practice, although there's no information whatsoever on the severity. Check back Thursday night and/or Friday morning for an update, as both receivers are viable fantasy options in an attractive matchup at Buffalo.

    Commish Dilemma

Had the rule been observed, he would not have had the opportunity to score those Brown points. I say reverse the transaction, and subtract the points from Brown. It puts everyone in the position that they would have been in prior to the illegal transaction, and any 'penalty' would be the inability to substitute another player from his bench in place of Brown.
  23. Percy Harvin (ankle) will participate in Wednesday's practice. He's expected to be limited. By most accounts, Harvin still isn't moving around all that well, so it's possible he's just seeing how far along he is. According to Harvin, he didn't resume walking until Tuesday. If he's able to practice again on Thursday after getting in a limited session today, however, it will put him on track to return against the Bears. For now, owners should play it safe and plan as if they'll be without their WR1. Source : St. Paul Pioneer Press on Twitter He's tough, but also going against Chicago.

    Not looking good for Harvin

Actually, he didn't even practice today.
