Haven't seen a lot of Steven Jackson paranoia
dj milkmoney replied to seattleslew's topic in FFToday Board
I wouldn't have taken him but he was still on the board in the third round and was too much to pass up. he had surgery so there is a question about his health, but i agree - rams schedule looks pretty manageable. i'm not too worried about his yardage and he should definitely improve in tds. -

Thanks for the help guys. Those are the two I had in my starting slots, but was thinking about Burleson against St. Louis and TO's big game last week. I'll stick to my guns>>>

Gotta pick two for a PPR league: Vincent Jackson Steve Smith (Car) T.O. Nate Burleson Steve Breaston Whatta you think??

I need a QB badly! finally traded for one and got vetoed!
dj milkmoney replied to eaglesfreak's topic in FFToday Board
Hahaha! I agree that that's what it looks like. I also agree with demanding to know why the trade was vetoed. Make them give you a reason (which they will have a difficult time providing). -
Which "Surprise" Fantasy Defenses Are For Real?
dj milkmoney replied to $0.02's topic in FFToday Board
The Jets and Green Bay!! Esp. when those PR, KR, Fum, and Int returns start kicking in. -
Randy Moss, Steve Smith (Car), Antonio Gates
dj milkmoney replied to Turcaso's topic in FFToday Board
Dude, I feel you on this. I have all three of them - though in different leagues - and they've been disappointing. They are all top players, so I've got to believe that at least one or two, if not all three, have got to break out and start scoring some TDs real soon. Aside from not finding the end zone, Gates hasn't been that bad. Moss leads the league in receptions and targets and is 4th in yardage. I'm most worried about Smith (my 2nd overall pick) mostly because Jake Delhomme looks like crap so far>>>> -
Isnt it time to call Vinny Jackson a tier 1 reciever?
dj milkmoney replied to columbuscft's topic in FFToday Board
Whatever about Gates for now. Yes, he's off to a slow start (relatively), but for TEs he's top 5 in receptions, yards, and targets. He doesn't have a TD yet, but you know he's gonna find the end zone. But back to Vincent Jackson... ...to my chagrin I sat him the first two weeks in favor of Steve Smith (Car) and T.O. I learned my lesson and started him in week 3 and he did not disappoint. That was interesting analysis regarding his streaky nature in the past, but I'll continue to start him unless he really tanks. I know it's only 3 games, but he's been much more consistent than my other starters and is just looking better and better. I put him as a solid #1>>>> -
I'm in the same position. I thought about Jones for a minute, but will definitely be starting Williams. No Doubt!

Darren McFadden...Time to jump ship?
dj milkmoney replied to Tony_Romo_Domination's topic in FFToday Board
I also thought DMC was going to have a nice year and that the raiders were going to improve but yeah, Russel is the worst!! It also doen't help the meager points that Mac is getting that he lost two fumbles in the last 2 games. I think I'm stuck with him, but should I start Donald Brown in his place? I think that's where I'm going>> -
I am convinced that I am the only person who didn't mind those uniforms. They were insane!! I wonder if there has ever been a study done on how uniform colors affect performance or opponent's performance. I would think it was tough for the bears to look at those jerseys without getting distracted or having to shield their eyes.

I agree. I wouldn't call him a solid #2 WR, but based on weekly match-ups i think you can rotate him in as a flex or #3WR and get some value out of him. The Redskins do not look good, though...

Is it time to stick a fork in Clinton Portis?
dj milkmoney replied to mambokings's topic in FFToday Board
Yeah, he's been disappointing so far, but he did have only 12 carries as the Skins were playing from behind. And a major question is exactly how bad are his ankles? I'd give him one more chance next week against Tampa and their crappy defense who just gave up over 200 rushing yards to the Giants. If he doesn't have a decent performance then, I'd definitely bench him and use him merely as a bye week replacement.
