I agree that Barkley will regress, but I still think he finishes in that top 7. The one to avoid this year for me is Henry. 396 touches last year, and he’s 31 y/o.
-
I know this has become the trend, but I still prefer an anchor RB in the 1st or 2nd round. The NFL is so pass happy that it’s easier to find pass catchers in the mid-late rounds than RBs. If you do take an anchor RB, avoid outliers like Hall last year. There was zero reason for him to be ranked as high as he was. He was on one of the worst teams in the NFL, behind a horrible QB, and did most of his damage in 2023 in a couple of blowup games.

“In the lawsuit, "John Doe" says he's a dedicated fan of the Colorado Buffaloes, “ I stopped reading right here. He should be suing himself for not finding a good college program to root for!
-
I’d package that 3 and 5 to move back to the fourth round and take Sanders.
-
I may do that as well. Not because of homerism as a Jag fan, but when will this opportunity ever arise again? Plus the NFL is constantly scripting stories that they think people care about to get viewers…like Brady’s SB gift in Tampa, Kelce’s pet rat, and that 3-peat for KC that Philly was having no part of. Let’s go!
-
This will be much easier once ADPs come out and there are players clearly ranked too high like Breece Hall last year with a top 3 ADP. That was a clear example of “hope isn’t a strategy”.
-
Ok y’all, we are post draft…who you got? Obviously ADP is the criteria for DND. Anyone got thoughts now? N Harris is interesting to me. Harbaugh will pound the ball, there will be a RB to have here…just as an example of a situation that will be discussed through the summer. Is he a DND in the to 20 RBs now. He likely would’ve been drafted in the top 10-15 RBs before the draft, if not higher.
-
Shilo certainly did…he fired Agent Nickname after they left him all alone for the remainder of the draft. He signed as an UFA, and I’m hoping he makes it. He’s got a better chance than his brother does. Comical…pathetic!
-
Of course he does. This was the most privileged kid in the draft, admitted he never stepped on campus for a single college class, and reports are leaking now from teams that he gave the absolute worst draftee interview they’ve ever seen!
-
Love the Skattebo pick the most. He won’t have a long career, but will have a couple of good years before he breaks down. Dart will end up being the worst pick for them. There was no way to the slide by Sanders could have been predicted, but passing on him was a huge mistake. Luckily for them they will have a top 10 pick next year and can get their QB. All in all, not bad for the long haul.
-
I heard he and his dad both showed up for the interviews in tuxedos….oh wait, I may be thinking of Step Brothers
-
That can’t be it because Colorado ALREADY retired his jersey . This is a circus, and his daddy, the ringleader, is giving a textbook lesson on how not to act pre draft and mid draft. This couldn’t be happening to a better bunch of narcissists.
-
This has to be a combination of things…Dion, and the kid is less than humble. I just don’t think teams want the headache.
-
Maybe coach Nickname’s son is also going by a nickname now, so no one knows how to call his name???
-
Continuing to take Def players from the only conference that really matters isn’t a bad strategy. You’d think the rest of the league would have caught on by now!
-
I like what they did there. What better way to get people to stop talking about the Bryce Young blunder than to make a worse 1st round pick.
-
Yes they did…but Travis has the type of upside you do that for. We will know in about 6 months.
-
I was half right! Love it!
-
Yea, I’m predicting my Jags to trade to #2 or 3 to draft someone with a 3rd round grade.

2025 NFL Draft Profile - CB/WR Travis Hunter
JagFan replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Agreed. He will probably play KR as well. -
Come on Paws, you always have a good opinion…the title is “way too early”.
-
The NFL is probably behind this whole thing, and paying Mr Drama Queen not to choose. It’s all part of their “offseason show”. I really wish they’d drop a little money to exterminate the rodent problem in KC.
-
I just hope Hard Knocks lands wherever he lands this year. I want to watch him strut around like a peacock again before imploding! Must see TV with Mr Rodgers. Does the NFL have an IR designation for a torn labrum? Asking for a friend.
-
I watched a lot of Colorado the past two years because they were a fun team to watch. If Sanders had time in the pocket, usually against weaker defenses, he looked good to great at times. The biggest issue I saw was the o-line. He never had one. It was better last year, but still not good. The jury is out for me, but with time to develop, behind a good enough line, I like his chances to be a good NFL QB, but not great.
