Can’t wait to watch him play in the UFL next spring.
-
Just go to YouTube, search “Taylor Swift concert”, and hit play. Welcome to the new NFL!
-
Agreed. I think Washington is going to be sneaky good this year for fantasy. I think Robinson Jr. surprises as well.
-
Sounds like you speak from experience! I can tell you what he won’t be touching….my roster. No Jets will be at their ADPs. Jets gonna Jet like always.
-
No, I’m tired of seeing jobs outsourced to India.

If quitting on your team is a sign of high football IQ, you might be right about Discount Double Douche.
-
If he’s there at two. I know he won’t be if I end up with the #1 pick!
-
What are you all projecting for him? I could see 200 carries, 400 yards, and him rolling into the end zone for 8 TDs.
-
Thanks captain obvious!

Yea, I’m not saying they’re going win a ton of games, but I do think they will put up points. Daniels is fast, and he’s not likely to sit in the pocket progressing through his 3rd and 4th reads. Most likely if his first read isn’t there, he’s going to run. Yes, he will make mistakes but I don’t necessarily think he’ll try to force throws when he knows he can run. It’s just a gut feeling, and I’m often wrong.

I agree the NE is a good matchup. Likely the worst team in the league this year. I’m not so sure Washington is going to be a good matchup with Daniels at QB. I’m thinking he’s going to be the best of the rookie QBs, and it may not even be close.

I liked Eberflus' quote in last week's Hard Knocks.

I get it. It’s like saying “I won’t draft a QB until the last pick of the draft” every time you post on here? -
Nix is going to struggle in the NFL. I watched a lot of Auburn football, and he struggled against those defenses. He looked great against those weak defenses in the PAC. Georgia made him look horrible in his first game at Oregon. Buyers be ware.

Yep. I’m avoiding all QBs until week 3 waivers

Depending on severity this could be 4-8 weeks, and linger all season. -
What say you---Breece Hall as a top 3 pick this year in a ppr league???
JagFan replied to jtztdm's topic in FFToday Board
I’m aware a lot of people like him. I don’t. If you look at his game by game stats, he was mediocre. He blew up in a few games. Week 1 he had something like 30 carries, and then he had a game where he caught like 17 passes. Those two games skew his overall numbers. But by all means, have at it. -
He was hurt last year. Not saying he’ll be any better this year, but he was limping on the sideline all year.

I’m not buying the hype on Hall. I get it. I’m aware of the stats last year. I just don’t trust Discount Double Douche not to quit on his team like he did in GB…and that’s if he’s even healthy. If I’m wrong about that, and they are good this year it’ll be Wilson in the top 3 of draft rankings next year. He’s the only piece of that offense I’d buy at the current ADP. -
Two NFL season…Two 1,000 yard seasons…. I’d say the dude is already out. And it should be obvious what you’re getting. Should he add 4-5 more TD’s you’ve gotten great value at his ADP.

Houston scares me trying to figure out who to take in that WR group, or where. But I do love Stroud with all that talent to throw to.
-
59.7 is Darnold’s career completion average. 65.7 is the NFL league average. This spells out stalled drives, and uncatchable balls. Even if they do target JJ 10+times that equates to no good enough for the draft capitol it will take to get him.
-
The QB situation in Minny concerns me as well. In addition to Hill and Lamb, I’d also put Chase ahead of him. I’m a bit surprised that more folks don’t have Chase higher. Finally, if Discount Double Douche is healthy I’d put Wilson ahead of JJ. Buyer be ware with anything Minny this year IMO.
-
Yes, sorry about the confusion there. He was using Montgomery as an example. I was simply saying I’d rather not use that pick on any player with potential red flags even if they may be minor red flags.
-
Agreed that those averages shouldn’t kill you. But I don’t think I want to live with that kind of doubt with the #1 pick….thats all I’m saying.

I hadn’t been considering McCaffrey at all until I recently landed the #1 pick in a new league. Last year he handled 339 total touches. 329 in 2022. Prior to that he eclipsed 300 touches in 2019 with a whopping 403, and we all know how 2020-2021 went. He’s now 28 with a lot of mileage the past two years. It has me concerned, especially with this injury. Not the slam dunk at #1 I thought he was a week ago. I think you have to consider Bijan, Hill, “insert your favorite here” etc. if you have the #1 pick.
