The Receiving Room in New York (Giants)

This is correct. This topic needs no more discussion. If you draft a pass catcher for NYG other than Waller, you haven’t been watching the Giants the past few years, and you deserve what you get…and your crying is just going to annoy everyone that pays attention.

Could Tua be this years Hamlin?

    Zero RB / Anchor RB

I’m guessing some of you listen to Jeff Ratcliff like I do, and I’m curious. Jeff if you happen to troll this board, I’m a fan. Im an old school RB/RB guy, and find it hard to break that habit. With being a couple weeks away from the ff drafts this subject needs discussion. I’m not looking for arbitrary responses like “draft the best player available”. I’m looking for input on philosophy. Are you taking Jefferson over CMC? Are you drafting 2 RBs in the top 5 rounds? This is assuming a standard 2RB, 1QB, 2WR/flex, or 3 WR lineup. 1 or .5 PPR. No super flex.

    Top 5 WRs for 2023

I agree it’s a toss up between these two right now. Add Etienne, Engram, and Zay to the mix and there are a lot of mouths to feed in that passing game. To take that next step, TLaw will need to spread the ball around. This is probably going to lead to big games here and there for each of them and good luck guessing who from week to week.

    Top 5 WRs for 2023

Don’t sleep on Jeudy and Ridley. Jeudy - I’m expecting Peyton to resurrect Russ’ career and Jeudy will be eating what he’s cooking. Ridley - Expecting T-Law to take another step forward and there’s a lot of talent on this team to take the pressure off Ridley. Ridley’s back with something to prove. I could see both of these guys jumping into the top 5 PPR.

Thannon Tharpe finally sees a Speech Pathologist. He still won’t form a coherent thought, but you won’t feel the need to wipe the spit from the inside of your TV screen when he’s done talking.

  12. The Colts are projected to have a much improved o-line. Up to 10 in the rankings I’ve been following. If that pans out to be the case, Taylor could have another very good season with his ability + scheming to contain Richardson. Richardson will have some big games in that scenario. The o-line + Richardson have me much more interested in Taylor, and his situation.
  13. #1 pick is a 2 team race between Hou and Tampa.

    Barkley or Pollard?

I know Barkley has only had 300+ touches twice in 5 years, so I’m not sure who you’re referring to. After the first time he did it he only played 13, 2, and 13 games the following 3 seasons.

    Barkley or Pollard?

For me it’s Pollard. Projected O-Line rankings Dal 6, NYG 29. Yes, Barkley is the focal point of the offense, but Dal presents more scoring potential. Pollard looked explosive last year.

    Deuce Vaughn

He needs to add 15-20 lbs. He’s very talented, and if he does that he could become a very good NFL RB.

    Thank you Hard Knocks

Just watched the first episode, and it more than delivered! They made sure to catch every arrogant comment made by the self promoting Aaron Rodgers, masterfully edited down to his handful of good throws, and even gave us a tiny glimpse of his outwardly critical attitude of his teammates when mistakes were made during the HOF game. The best part is most will only pay attention to the coach speak, and his ADP should keep rising. Im getting my popcorn ready to sit back and watch the meltdown unfold over the season. Perfect!

    J K Dobbins

Yep, you got me. I’m just a punk that comes here to read FF opinions to get away from the everyday extreme political views (from the right and left). I guess stupid just doesn’t appeal to me, but you do you bro.

    Let's talk Defense

Jags play the Colts week 1. Still a good matchup. If you can, target the Bills week 1. They get the Jets who are going to be putrid most weeks.

    Late round Tight Ends

His swan song will come in Denver in the next couple of years.

    Jahmyr Gibbs

I don’t see anything special about Gibbs. He had 10 total TDs (7 rush, 3 rec) last year. Yes, that’s a good number for a college RB relatively speaking, but being the RB for a Bama team that scores at will isn’t the typical situation. I get why you’re asking the question, but this isn’t the guy you want to talk yourself into. Not only should you not trade up, but you should pass on him unless he comes to you at a dart throw price.
  24. I really think you’re missing his answer, and he’s correct. I guess the whole concept of VBD has gone out the window. You need one of the few difference makers at RB. Yes, you could get lucky later in the draft but good luck. You really have to pay attention to a RBs workload from the previous year, and the teams QB for the current year. I’ll just throw out one easy example for this year…Jacobs will sink a lot of teams this year, and Chubb will finally finish as the RB1. The writing is on the wall for both. That simple.

Your last statement is why I always come here to read these posts. It’s been the best place to get good opinions for a long time. Much respect for your contributions over the years.
