I don’t have a good feel for it. I suspect it will be game flow dependent from week to week. Based on how he’s practiced, and been used in preseason games..it’s been close to a 50%-50% split. I think he’ll play 60-70 snaps a game with a slight edge to offensive snaps. I think he will be a boom or bust fantasy option week to week heavily dependent on TDs to have value.

I’m going to respectfully disagree with you gentlemen. Hunter was the correct move. He may not be fantasy gold, but dude is a freak athlete that can play at a very high level at WR and DB. He will make both sides of the ball better immediately. We shall find out very soon which opinion is right!

Quick update. If you go to the Jaguars official website you will see they have Etienne AND Bigsby both listed as FIRST, and Tuten listed SECOND. Bigsby looks to be 1.1 and Etienne 1.2 based on how they’ve been used with the first team offense in the preseason games. I’m believe I heard that Coen has said they have 4 good RBs, and they will all be used. My guess is those top three, Etienne/Bigsby/Tuten will get the bulk of the true RB work. I would also think Bigsby gets the short yardage/GL carries. That makes him the only one I’d consider right now if you can get him at a discount. I also think Tuten will overtake Etienne at some point, if he hasn’t already. There have been rumblings of trading Etienne, but Coen has denied it…that whole smoke and fire thing. All in all….this is still very much a buyer be ware situation.

I don’t think this is all that far fetched. I full well expect him to be the starter. Probably would’ve opened the season as the starter if he hadn’t gotten dinged up in practice. He is the best QB talent wise on that roster. The question is attitude….has he been humbled enough? It sure felt like it during and after that first preseason game. He looked very good in that game. Fitting the ball in tight windows, especially on the 2nd TD pass. If you watched him in Colorado, and I did quite a bit, he never had an O-Line. He was never given much time to throw. But he got it done at a high level, and put up video game numbers. I think where you’re wrong is the 2 week streamer. Dude is going to win ROY.

Yea, my bad. I knew this was out there but I didn’t find it. Thank you sir!
-
Ok, I’ll start. Dwayne Haskins finishes the season with a higher QB rating than Aaron Rodgers. Next

J Warren…no Kaleb Johnson JK Dobbins …no RJ Harvey. Are you paying attention? Sean Payton drafted his Denver Kamara. K Coleman …absolutely! Maybe with the rest. I can see Pearsall if he can avoid getting shot again. Not to nit pick, but you misspelled his name.
-
You misspelled Dylan Sampson. Good gravy, I love this time of year!

Let’s begin this debate because I think it’s one of the most polarizing situations going into drafts in a couple months. I got him at the 24 spot last year which proved to be a great value. Today I took him at 12 in a best ball draft. I feel like that’s a great value considering what he did in his first year in Baltimore. I’ll be the first to say I’m on the decline year bandwagon, but is this the year? Dude is built like a linebacker, and didn’t look like he was losing a step. Curious what the community here thinks.

There’s your answer, unfortunately. I personally would take Bijan at 1, not Chase. Catches are far easier to come by than workhorse RBs. I’d keep the 1, take Bijan and then let the WRs come to me at the 24/25 turn picks. The odds of Chase coming close to last years numbers are very slim. Chasing last years numbers isn’t a good strategy. Chase this years numbers. Bijan got better as Atl got better last year with their young QB. He’s the one that will be the can’t miss 1 pick in 2026. Take him now.
-
Henry needs to understand that I too want to win a Super Bowl….my fantasy Super Bowl. I can’t stand selfish players thinking ONLY of themselves.
-
I’m curious which draft spot you all are hoping to land this year? Looks like Chase is this year’s consensus #1, and it feels like a weak consensus to me. So much debate around so many first round projected picks. And there are equally as many second round picks that could be argued as late first round picks. I’m feeling like the 10-12/13-15 turn picks hold more value this year.

I heard this afternoon on SXM that CMC is battling tendinitis in his Achilles again…same as last year this time. Not finding any corroborating info online. You all hearing anything?
-
I’m probably going to draft Guerrendo in the first round now.
-
Certainly easier to predict what might come back to you in the middle vs either turn.

Agreed 100%. I hope I’m wrong as a team fan…I hope he’s both the Off and Def rookie of the year. But that’s not going to happen. -
Shout out to the Jets fans pimping B Hall as the #2 pick last year based off of 2 outlier games in 23! The AARON writing was all over the wall of that disaster in the making this time last year. It’s going to be what it’s going to be, and CMC will define the fate of many teams this year. Be it from the 2 spot, or the 12 spot. It’s officially FF season. Let’s go!!!!

This is the age old debate every year about some player. There’s always an elite talent with red flags. The sad truth is that any player risks injury every time they step on the field. Last year the debate was CMC, hence this debate, and D Henry because of his age and wear. Sometimes the risk pays off like Henry, and sometimes risk was really worse than anyone knew like CMC. I agree CMC is risky that high, but he could outperform even the #2 pick. You really just have to go with your gut feeling, and if that’s taking CMC 5-6 spots higher than his ADP I wouldn’t criticize it. Some could argue that pushing CMC down to the back half of round 1 IS letting someone get a stud that late. I tend to lean RB over WR and I can tell you the only WR I’d consider over him is Chase. Chase isn’t going to reproduce last years numbers. Having him at #1 is chasing last years numbers, and that’s never a good idea. I personally have them ranked as Bijan, Gibbs, Saquan, CMC, Chase as my top 5.

I would’ve too and been ecstatic about it.

My youngest son and I were discussing Jags/Lawrence/Coen/Mayfield this past weekend. We moved from Jax back to Alabama well before he was born. I took him to the playoff game in Jacksonville against the Chargers a few years ago (the comeback from 27 points down), and that was his first NFL. He’s been hooked since. Anyway, we were both a bit surprised by Bakers rooking stats… 3,725 / 27 / 93.7 qb rating. That’s fairly impressive, especially the qb rating. It made me have a little more respect for the guy…he just needed the right situation to realize his potential. This is Trevor’s 5th year, but I don’t count his first year under that joke douche Meyer. He probably set the kid back three years. Meyer may have ruined the guy. That dude enabled Aaron Hernandez to become a serial killer, yet he still gets air time on one of the college game day shows. Nonetheless, Trevor won’t ever be the generational talent he was hyped up to be. It’s been a shat show at QB in Jax since Brunell…think about how sad that is. Hopefully Coen can do for Trevor what he did for Baker. -

My optimism is probably influenced by hope for my team. Coen’s history with Baker is the biggest thing I’m excited about. How Hunter is used is to be determined, but it sure feels like an even split to more Def. I do think D Brown could be a better addition than most think because he’s not a well known, but he did come on strong in the playoffs last year with Wash. One thing is for sure…if Lawrence doesn’t get it done this year I’ll have to admit you’ve been right about him all along. -

I don’t work for the Jacksonville Jaguars organization, so I’d have to say me giving up that draft pick wouldn’t make sense in any world. And he is considered an elite talent at both WR and DB. I wouldn’t hang my hat on Tet. He was drafted by the same team that drafted Bryce Young over Stroud and Bijan. And not to nitpick, but you needed a comma between crap and idiot. -

Ah, I think I’ve found the disconnect. Im going to type slow this time so you can follow along. Believe it or not, the NFL counts the plays the other team takes as snaps too…so by the Transitive Property of geometry those snaps count for the defense too. You simply have to add those up together. The NFL uses an algorithm for that: OFFENSIVE snaps + DEFENSIVE snaps = TOTAL snaps. Carry the 1, and divide by #5 pick and you get oops! -
