Hawkeye, did you pick out of turn? I thought Landry had 2.11. Checking before I make my picks. -
Round One-Three Commentary - July Mock 2025
JagFan replied to Mike FF Today's topic in The Mocking Station
Just noticed this thread…yall bear with me, I’m figuring this thing out . I kept going back and forth between Bijan and Chase with the first pick, and I usually lean towards RBs early but I feel like Chase was the safer pick. -
Thanks Mike. It was Jeff Ratcliffe talking about it.
-
I’m following your lead in the July mock. I won’t have the first pick in my league, but I am curious what this looks like.
-
Is ok to jump this off early? If so… 1.1 J Chase
-
I’m in! Thanks for the invite, Mike. Looking forward to it.

With Coen leaving for a HC job I’d be cautious with Bucky. Pearsall is my vote for breaking out in a big way.

We all know it ain’t a party unless it’s a Ditty party!!!! -
Yikes! The late flyer on Hollywood in my first best ball draft is looking better.
-
Jeanty could be worth it. Was listening to one of the hosts on Sirius Fantasy. Analyzing the offensive scheme of the coaching staff against his style and looks like a great fit. My interest in him is growing
-
Not disagreeing with this, but if you do that you have to do it for every player…including that def lineman that might get a 1 yard TD once this season. Blanket rule change, not a TH rule change.
-
Agree with this because you can’t make a rule change just for one player. It makes no sense. You have to keep it as is, or change the rule across the board. I don’t see Hunter putting up crazy stats on both sides of the ball, but if you do then draft him accordingly.
-
Right, because Chase didn’t miss significant time in 2022….
-
I don’t disagree. I just feel like WRs are easier to find with how pass happy the league is. That’s also why anchor RBs are scarce. And kinda to your point, WRs will produce even with crap QBs.
-
Take the elite RB. You can find catches later, but you can’t find a 300 touch RB later unless you get lucky or win the waiver game.
-
And you know the Jets are gonna Jets
-
This is correct
-
Wow, you’d think I’d have caught that. Sucks getting old!
-
They’re still saying he will play primarily on offense. I could see them scheming plenty of touches both receiving and rushing. Dude is a weapon.
-
What’s it cost you to keep a player next year?
-
Henry
-
Totally agree. Guys like Young are at a huge disadvantage coming into the league because he played for a college coaching staff known for not developing QBs for the next level.
-
I prefer QBs on teams that have horrible def’s. The quicker they get down, and by a lot…gets the offense passing early and often!
-
For fantasy, I’m staying away from this situation. The Jags drafted two good RBs in the draft, and Tank has earned his share of the touches, if not more. I feel like this will be ugly and you’ll have to guess correctly on who’s the one to have that week. I could be totally wrong. But he’s certainly worth taking a gamble on if you get him late enough.
