That’s right! These people are so dumb. You don’t draft a QB before Thanksgiving, and you don’t draft a TE before Christmas! It’s just common sense!

Better yet, I hope it was Purdy because “you’re an idiot if you draft more than one QB” according to him. He’d be starting Spencer Rattler today!

I hope this isn’t bad. I don’t have any shares of him this year because I felt he was overpriced, but I love this kid. He’s a baller. MRI of the knee on a QB that plays the way he does isn’t good at all. MRI means soft tissue injury, and even just a sprain will slow him down for a while. Weepaws is about to tell us this is why he doesn’t draft a QB until the playoffs start.

I think you’re spot on…almost. I think he’ll exceed Harrison, and you briefly touched on it when you alluded to hofer throwing to him. JJ is in a much better situation. I saw this quote today: “Shedeur Sandars will go down in history as a better QB than Peyton Manning. Sincerely his college coach/agent.”

Totally agree that Lawrence isn’t good. Especially looking at his week one stats: 61.29% completion rate for 178 yards and 1 TD. I have to admit that I didn’t realize how bad that was until I found the next closest week 1 passing stats to his stats. 61.54% completion rate for only 80 yards more, and 1 TD. I’d prefer not to call out another overrated QB by name because I don’t think that would be fair to Patrick Mahomes. OOPS, did I just accidentally say his name?

I loved Boutte in college. As a SEC fan, not LSU, I appreciated Boutte as a dominate force. He lost his first year in the NFL due to his stupidly as a kid in college. I still expected big things from this kid. Unfortunately he was drafted by an organization that has been crippled by their inability to cheat anymore. Too bad the NFL has directed their attention to the Chiefs sans Brady, and he didn’t land there. I’d be willing to bet this kid would’ve had a great career pre-scripted NFL!

Weepaws and TBay, I think we’re all on the same page. I have Warren in both leagues, and I’m great with it based on what we’ve seen so far. Y’all know it’s been fun pushing back on each other the past several years. I have a ton of respect for your opinions, and I know neither of you are fans of my Jags…rightfully so. It would have to be my team that whiffs on a prematurely crowned “generational talent”. But I’m going to stay full of hope, and denial!

Someone dropped Waddle in one of my leagues. I could tell from the draft I wasn’t dealing with genius’…new league, and it’s for money. My waiver request is already pending.

How did running to close out the game Sunday night workout for them? Asking for a friend…. Andrews has become game script dependent. Early in Lamar’s career Andrews was his only reliable target. He has a true WR1 now. Last year Andrews was so TD dependent, and I expect much of the same minus him reaching that TD total again. When the season is over his final stat line will have him firmly in the top 10 for TEs. You have to stick with him every week to catch those good games, and suffer through the rest. Weepaws is about to tell us all this is why he doesn’t draft a TE until week 4 of the season!

I mute my tv if he’s calling a game I’m watching. He SUCKS, and I can’t stand listening to his BS.

I watched most of the NYJ/Pitt game. Fields look good throwing the ball. The long throw to Wilson for his first TD had great touch on it. If he has taken even the slightest step forward in passing, he’s going to finish QB top 3.

Fields is matchup proof.

Pretty much what I expected from Fields so far. I hope everyone took my advice.

I’d take the trade. I expect Daniels to regress this year so the QBs are a wash. That makes this trade London for Metcalf. London is the pick!

And when he doesn’t it’ll be Green Bay’s way of saying “see it wasn’t the talent around you…it WAS you”. Rodgers problem is his ego, and always has been. You saw it on draft night in 2005 when he was sulking in the green room waiting…. He so badly wants to be “something”. He isn’t the best QB of his generation, he isn’t the best QB his franchise has ever had, and now he’s desperately trying to end his career the way Favre, Warner, Brady, and Manning did..as a winner for another team. But he just isn’t that either. Dude is a head case that was a good NFL QB at one time. He’s never going to hear anyone say “he was the best….whatever”, and it’s killing him. Bye bye !

Hearing this morning that CMC is fine. They are just monitoring his practice reps. False alarm. I hope that’s true in one of my leagues.
