  1. Moss, he'll be consistent and the upside is there as Brady finds his groove. I live in Atlanta (although I'm a skins fan) and Turner is more a function of the schedule. He'll do well against bad teams and not so well against the good teams. It was his MO last season and in watching him he looks a little slower this season.

  2. I tried to trade him and got absolutely no interest. I was targeting guys like R. White and a couple of package deals. I tried S. Smith (NYG) and LT for Slaton, no dice. Granted my league doesn't trade a lot but my point is us LT owners are stuck with him. That being said, I feel he'll be a servicable RB2 moving forward maybe averaging 80 yards +/- a game a TD 2 out 3 games. That should put him close to 1,000 yards and 7-8 TD's. Maybe throw in a big game or two with some passing game production and you could end up with 1,100 and 10, which is decent for a RB2. The positives are his schedule really does ease up, Sproles has proven he's not able to handle the load, LT should be fresh and you would think the chargers brass would realize they need to run the ball to go deep in Jan. The main issue I see is the O-line. For a team that has so many weapons outside, defenses shouldn't be able to put 8 in the box and I don't think they are, which means SD should be able to run the ball but haven't. We'll see. I'm holding more due to lack of interest but I do feel he can help down the line.

  3. Should be starting. he's a better back, great hands and a much quicker burst. I'm surprised they don't rely on him more. He's technically my RB3/Flex (if LT ever gets his shat together) so I'm fine with his production but just think what it could be. It could be the championship type draft pick.

  4. I have sproles and LT, and it's frustrating as hell. I would really prefer to deal them as a package, just to get rid of the headache. Anyone make a trade like this? What could I ask for? I mean, when they are good, they are really damn good, but it's a freaking headache.

Yeah, I thought about the same thing because my gut tells me this will be an ugly RBBC when LT hits the field hurting both players production from a fantasy perspective.

If LT is out I think Sproles is an easy every week start regardless of oponent because he's so involved in the passing game. He being the third down back really hurts LT's value when healthy. LT used to score a ton of points as the 3rd down back. It's not going to be a fun decision every week.

As for a trade, I thought about dealing LT for Slaton but then actually held off because I'm not sure about Slaton right now. I think if you can get someone like K. Smith, Barber, S. Jackson, Ronnie Brown, Ryan Grant you may consider it but I seriously doubt you can get anyone better (too much of a headache) and you may not even be able to get some of those guys. I'm considering trading one or both but it's tough because SD does have a good offense and plays in a week division and I'm just not sure how much value the two have. If I put any offers out I'll post the offer and owner reaction.

  5. Need to pick 3 of 4. Standard scoring non ppr

    R. Rice vs SD - probably going to consider him a start for this week

Sproles vs BAL - match up concerns me but touches will be there

    B. Marshall vs CLE - should be a decent match-up and he has a full week with Orton

    R. Brown vs IND - Who knows

Any insight would be appreciated. The real question in my mind is whether to start Sproles.

  6. Here are the real issues that concern me from last night:

    1. He looked slower from the start and hesitant on cuts

    2. He asked to come out on numerous occasions

    3. He's clearly no longer the 3rd down back (which is where he scored a lot of fantasy points over the years)

    4. He said he could have played if? If what? If the game was on the line. If it was close? Well it was and he wasn't out there because they have a better option.

That's the bottom line and what really hurts is now LT will cut into Sproles potential (if you own Sproles) and we'll have two average backs in an offense that should produce one solid scorer. Pretty much the norm in the NFL now anyway.

Don't get me wrong, LT was a stud and I've always liked him as a player but you can't chirp all off-season about rushing titles and being the best back in the league and then put on a performance like that.
