Pretty sure at $1/$2 if you can't win at least $10/hr you shouldn't waste your time unless you are a retiree killing time. Take the job with mom. Play when you want to have fun.. Oh, and $10/hr is still extremely low. Should be closer to $20/hr.

As for the hand, villains allow us to play our draws profitably by calling if you have no fold equity. If you can't get him to fold, there is no point to getting it in here. He bets $35 ... We call. not really an explanation as to WHY they decided to do this after 21 years, though. i wonder if it is based on complaints from the opposing network in a home team's city ... ie. the fox channel in buffalo wants the chance to build its ratings so it complains that it doesn't get to show enough bills games. i noticed this had happened a couple of weeks ago with the 'crossover' games and when fox promoed next week's games i noticed it is showing bengals-browns.

actually, most of the games haven't been close. they are 4-8 against the spread. pretty sure they haven't been a favorite yet. i don't think they could beat kentucky if it was just one game. i would definitely take kentucky plus 17. people who think the 76ers would have an advantage in a 48-minute game because of the extra 8 minutes have never watched this team. they really suck in the 4th quarter. they run out of gas and, therefore, wouldn't have an edge in the final 8 minutes. i think this team is epically bad. i really think they have a shot at 9-73. i lived that when i was about 10. i went to probably 35 games that year. i am home most nights now and watch at least a half when i am. they're pathetic. 0-12 and no end in sight.

your worst day is -$500 this year? that's sick. i had -$600, -$1,000, -$900 and -$700 sessions recently in one weekend in las vegas. $2/$5 was an abortion ... KK>AA (but I should have folded pre or at least on the flop); set over set; overpair to the board loses to running two pair .... i could go on and on.

You know, I enjoy reading about your exploits on the felt. As a fellow player, I come here looking forward to your threads. And you make some good posts and some good points about the game. And then you go and make these two statements. I NEVER want my opponents to fold when I raise. I want EVERYONE at the table to call. As for QQ, it's no different than any other hand. You just have to know how to play post-flop. People love to raise bigger with JJ and AK because they don't like those hands and don't know what to do post-flop.
