  1. I'm so clean, I've had a non-resident permit to carry in MA when living in NH....when people in MA couldn't get one.
  2. I don't know what triggers the delay. In MA everyone with a permit gets a pin# to be used on all transactions. If you run into issues you can apply for a specific code# that usually fixes the problem. I personally have never had an issue....possibly due the the shear length that I've been in the system & number of transactions.
  3. Keep in mind...people without scruples can & do circumvent this process.....no law will prevent that but BAD JUJU if caught.
  4. Ouch........never left a shop without my purchase....that's in MA
  5. I think a lot of the confusion about the laws center around that. At any gun dealer, you will have to pass a background check. There may still be states where you can circumvent this through private sale.....if not closed, that loophole is closing. In MA for instance, I can sell a gun privately. Both buyer & seller have to input all our info on the MA gun portal site....once completed, the transfer/sale will be approved or denied.
  6. And a background check is still required. Not sure if that is the case with private sales as it is is most other states.

    Revisting Baldwin shooting that lady

It was a revolver....the cylinder is open. Half cocking it allows you to rotate the cylinder. You can easily see the nose of a live round where each shell sits in the cylinder.

    Revisting Baldwin shooting that lady

This is why a simple check by the user...Baldwin in this case....would have exposed that live rounds were present. They are DISTINCTLY different than blanks. Say what you will, I think he has a responsibility to do so. Given his stance on how dangerous guns are, I don't give him a pass. Bad enough he'll take a check for making a movie full of gun violence given his stance.

    Thoughts On Byrna Guns

Not a fan of LTL vs a deadly weapon. Seen too many instances of people overcoming pepper or chemical....nobody immune to 9mm. That said....I question whether you should have an actual firearm. This, probably is a better option for you.

Top 5 Fantasy Football RBs for 2024

I think it looks good for him....especially without Zeke. If they improve the passing game even marginally it should open up the running game.
  11. Well then......looks like you need to move to utopia asap

    Human trafficking in Ukraine

It's sickening the amount of money we send outside the country while we have our own Vets living in the streets & people starving.

Top 5 Fantasy Football RBs for 2024

Don't know about top 5 but could legitimate be top 10.
  14. Tough to tell. Statisticly that sounds high....any more context?
  15. It's you who seems to be operating from a vacuum. Basing your entire argument & the will you would impose on others on the belief that nothing bad happens in your little slice of heaven & others like it. Furthermore, you would have laws cater to those few living behind castle walls rather than the vast majority that don't. Again, your paranoia, is driving YOUR agenda. Your belief that nothing bad will ever happen to me has already been proven wrong twice. Your "Bubble" doesn't extend beyond your environment. I don't look down on you because you don't like guns or wouldn't own one. What I do look down on is your smug beliefs that something akin to a mental disorder is driving my desire to protect myself against crime.
  16. Heretic No! They should immediately improve their financial status & take the monorail to Utopia!
  17. Yet.....Statistics indicate you are still more likely to run into a violent felon than you are a "rogue" legal gun owner......indicating Paranoia. You can't alter data to support your beliefs. Now you are most certainly more likely to encounter (knowingly or unknowingly), a legal gun owner(given the utopia you live in & confine yourself to) vs a violent felon......but still more likely to encounter a violent felon than a good guy gone bad. To think otherwise points towards Paranoia.
  18. I can function just fine without carrying.....I just choose to carry. Your "Belief" that a "Legal" gun owner will "Loose it" sounds like paranoia
  19. Show me where I said "I can't leave the house without one"? I CHOOSE to carry & I choose WHEN to carry. I don't carry if I'm going out to the bar. I don't bring my gun into places it's not allowed....I have a lockbox in my car for that. I do carry on most other occasions. I don't do it out of fear....I do it to be prepared should something happen. That doesn't guarantee a positive outcome for me but it does improve my odds. MY belief is that BAD things can happen ANYWHERE. Bad things probably happen more in certain environments but not always. You have convinced yourself that the only time bad things happen in your Utopia is when a legal gun owner goes rogue.....I hope that always holds true for you. Providing a way to defend myself if the need arises is just being prepared. Calling my beliefs paranoid is simply a way for you to justify your beliefs.
  20. You mean "the voices".... I've often wondered if kydex or leather combined with steel can cause some reaction......
  21. I WILL continue to do my thing. I hold no ill will towards someone that doesn't like guns. I hold no ill will towards anyone's beliefs (for the most part). I do however take issue with the beliefs of other's being forced on me. Beliefs are just that....beliefs. If you want to give veracity to your beliefs....use facts. The fact is that more crimes are prevented by lawful, responsible, sane gun owners per year than murders committed.....by an order of magnitude. The vast & overwhelming majority of gun induced murders are committed by violent criminals & not by legal gun owners. You like to call being prepared being paranoid. Believe what you want but don't try to pawn your beliefs as facts & don't try to force your beliefs on me due to YOUR paranoia.
  22. An no time in my statements did I ever say or imply that I was scared.....only prepared. I indicated that twice....TWICE, I had deadly weapons pulled on me. Yet, you will continue to say it doesn't happen. You will continue to say it's not needed. You continue to call it paranoid. You would have it so that I was unarmed the two times that I needed to be armed. That people like YOU have any say in my ability to protect myself or my family.......THAT IS REAL INSANITY.
  23. I've been carrying, concealed, for close to 44 years. In all that time I've never had to shoot anyone. I've had to reveal my weapon on 2 occasions in all that time. I've had to unholster it once. In one instance I was facing an individual with a knife, the other a handgun. Without the presence of my own weapon, I was looking at the real possibility of severe injury or death on both occasions. People are confronted by these situations every day, all across the country. People are killed & injured every day during robberies, whether they be in public places or home invasions. Both of those are factual statements........nothing you can poo poo away by saying it doesn't happen. If it happens (as facts prove) it's not irrational to prepare for it. 44 years of carrying......at least 5 days a week......North of 12,000 days with a weapon on my person......to only need it twice. If it weren't for my "irrational fear" there's a good chance I could have died years ago. Protection against violence is an irrational fear. Buying auto or homeowners insurance is not. Your house & car have locks to keep people out. You will protect your belongings with insurance.......but not your life......THAT IS IRRATIONAL.
