    I am starting Norwood

I am hurting this week with injuries and byes as well. I acutally DROPPED Norwood to pick up Dayne. Even if Green does play, I'm guessing Dayne will get alot of work and some goaline looks. I wouldn't expect more than standard 3-4 point effort from Norwood this weekend.

    Rudi Johnson Owners

I have Rudi and Reggie Bush at #1 and #2. Went ahead and picked up Kenny Watson so I can wait until Monday to make my decision...our league allows that. Hopefully there will be a clear picture at some point by Monday who will start and get the bulk of the workload.

Reggie Bush now a #1 RB!?

Reggie Bush=Kevin Faulk. Maybe not just yet..but give it another season or so. Reggie Bush is not an every-down back. He'll be be exposed now that Deuce is out. Deuce is what made him effective last year.

    Peter King is a Fool

King certainly ads nothing to the NBC studio show. Did you hear him last night talking about Bret Favre when he said "testical" instead of "statistical?" Here's the clip: http://video.nbcsports.com/player/?id=159603 While loosely on the topic, that whole "Football Night in America" is annoying as hell IMO...the way they bounce back and forth from one studio to the other. I also can't stand looking at Keith Olbermann and his non-existent upper lip. I'm no George Clooney, but that guy is ugly. While NFL Primetime w/ Boomer and TJ might have been a little tired...I sure do miss it. Jumping in and out of that whole "Blitz" package sucks. Just gimme the highlights and fantasy numbers. I dont need to be bullied into watching Sportscenter!

    Derek Anderson...Browns Homers Help

One week wonder....wouldnt give him a second thought at this juncture. My guess is fans will be boo-ing him and chanting "Brady, Brady!" very soon.

    Started Palmer, Lewis, and Edwards

You are in for a long season my friend....enjoy this week while it lasts.
  7. Palmer scored 44 in my league...which ties the all-time single week performance mark in my league that has existed for 6 seasons. Unbelievable game to watch. I truly feel that game was a fluke for the Browns...they're not a good team. I thought Bengals -6.5 was a lock this week...good thing the ol' lady talked me out of calling my cousin in Vegas.
  8. Cinci -6.5 might be one of the best lines I've seen in a long time. I see no way the Browns make this game close. That's by far the play of the week!!!

Bengals D vs Cleveland this weekend.

Derek Anderson has already been named the starter this week versus Cinci according to all local media. DA should be good for 3-4 pics and a fumble or two. I love the Cinci D this week.

Ray Lewis no tear - game time decision

My wife walked in the room during the Monday Night game and saw Ray Lewis with his arm bandaged up. Without hesitation and in all seriousness, she asked "Stab wound?" LOL

Mark Clayton's Role In Week 2

How in the world could you tell he was favoring an injury...he was barely on the field!!

    Amani Toomer

I could see justifying Toomer as a 3WR in larger leagues and playing him with favorable matchups. If Plax draws the DT, Toomer could have some good fantasy games. However, if this injury to Manning is 4+ weeks, I wouldnt expect much from him.

    Mike & Mike Suck

Gumball is the worst I have ever heard in the booth. BY FAR. I thought Mike and Mike did a solid job last night. Ditka is a non-factor IMO. In a somewhat related note, not sure if any of you Cleveland homers caught the pre-season games, but Bernie Kosar is also very poor in the booth.

    Mark Clayton anyone?

I started Clayton this week and fortunatley didnt need anything from him last night. However, I was looking for him to AT LEAST BE ON THE FIELD. I must have blinked during his dropped pass because honestly the first time I really noticed him was when the players all circled up to pray at the end...the camera zoomed out on his jersey. I think he was clearly the Ravens #3 WR last night (actually probably #4 considering Heap). YIKES, I get choose between he and injured Eddie Kennison for my 3WR this week...looks like I better hit the waiver wire.
  15. Wow...still looks strange to see Culpepper lumped in with Losman, etc. How the mighty have fallen.
