    Stupid question for Patriot Homers

Yeh, Gillette's entrance is very cool. It's a modern lighthouse blended into the architecture.

    Super Bowl Prediction

That Giants team is pretty well balanced and the playoff role has been impressive. Both sides of the ball have some big time players. Jacobs and the DL make me nervous as a Pats fan. Pats, 34-24.

Mock NFL Draft 1st round updated sat.

NE could move down but the value isnt there with Dallas. No team would do that deal. Not sure about the Carpenter idea. Trades of players don't happen often.

After Jerry, Who is the Best WR of all time?

Yeh, me too except the "all time". Largent made me a side fan of Seattle. HMoore would have been awesome with a better QB. Ray Berry? Tim Brown? Swann? Sterling Sharpe might have broken records if he didnt have to retire! Best WR is so subjective. You can't just compare #s as the NFL has evolved into a passing game (WCO etc.) and their team matters sooo much. Moss and Owens are freaks of nature. Harrison represents the work ethic, Ward's blocking is so valuable, KJ and Carter supposedly weren't fast enough. If I was investing for the long haul I would probably go with a young Harrison and no distractions. I admittedly don't know the whole picture when discussing WRs of yesteryear.

    Starting a Franchise Tomorrow?

I'd go QB, DL, OL in first 3 rounds, no particular order. (Brady if i drafted 1st)

    A question for Pats fans.......

As a business. Brady has a longer Pats career ahead of him. BB will retire in less years. Both should be able to succeed without the other if needed. If Kraft had to decide he'd let Bill go, the coach's shirts don't sell quite as well.

    Go get em Bill

To heck with the haters! This is for all those who were/are fans of the Patsies. New, old it doesn't matter this is for the fans. The haters can bite me.

    2008 Free Agents

One guy I'll be interested in will be RB CBrown. Rarely healthy, but he seems to be a good RB.

    49ers hire Mike Martz

not buying it Needs: new QB better O-line (banged up and Alan is getting long in the tooth) better WRs (Battle/Hill are far from excellence and Djax well, long teeth) an improved vernon davis too many fixes for one offseason. P.S. I did just tade Gore.
  13. Admittedly, my largest keeper league is 5 but I look at the rooks all off season anyway. Rookie RBs that succeed within 2 years are gold in this league. My approach to this list would be strongly focused on the RBs. I have 3 picks in my first round and plan on drafting 2 rooks. I figure there will be 3-4 picks that are good enough to take wherever they go and another 2-3 that might be worth it on the right team. Im interested in the top 7-8 rook RBs and top WR. good thread

The Patriots - Corporate Evil and Devil Worship

EG, YOU are the one who is blinded by the media. The American public has gone through a polarized post 9-11 period but I feel the polarity coming back to normal. We have been through allot, every one of us have been affected in many ways. Your judgment lacks understanding of our true cultures and you fail to recognize the beauty of our system, problems CAN be fixed.

    Fans of Playoff Bye teams

Pats fan and the only teams that scare me are Indy, Dallas and GB.

Bethel Johnson coming back to Pats?

I remember when the Pats drafted him, he wasnt even profiled in my 2 draft mags. A huge bust, no way he should come back, let bygones be.
  17. The RBs are almost done but either could do well with their respective teams IF those O-Lines are upgraded. Bulger may still have the arm and that O-line may get back to shape but he is very fragile and its just a matter of time. Delhome's injury may take some time and I am not sure what the recovery from Tommy John entails but Im guessing he'll take awhile. Id invest something in Rudi and maybe a little in SA but I wouldnt touch the QBs.

    2008 Rookie Scouting Portfolio

I'm buying this. That's a great price! I have 3 first round picks in my 5 keeper and need all the rookie RB research I can get.

How About This For An Asterisk?

Im a Pats fan and Im sick of you rooks mis-representing Patriot Nation with posts like this. Try reading rather than typing, you might learn something.
  20. Id bet that they'd target one of the 3 DBs no matter if they keep Samual or not. They might go LB but they rather vets.

    Grant and Graham

Looking for info on their injury history? character issues? contact status? Grant and Graham

    Grant and Graham

but, Caddy has never proven to be Portis and if Portis were banged up this year and that o-line wasn't so injured Betts would have been good. Apples to oranges don't you think?

    Grant and Graham

Thanks man. I have both and need to trade one and keep the other. I am not scared of Caddy coming back. I am scared of Favre leaving.
