    Where for art thou Mendenhall?

I have spent my life misinterpreting "Wherefore".

My annual top 5 bold predictions

Gronk breaks all the records he set last year. Eli finishes top QB. On September 9th the Steelers send Peyton into retirement.

    Keeper Discussions

Early keepers is just different. I like it as it takes even more forward thinking. I like CJ2 as your keeper. He has to be better than this year and his ceiling is awesome.

    AD torn ACL and MCL

So you were wrong. He twisted his ankle and took a shot to the knee while putting up over 1100 total yds and 13 total tds with a 4.6 avg rush on a bad team with no QB, hardly a wr and a bad oline. Oh and he missed a few games.

Could you turn this team into a champion?

Study hard and pounce on underrated players quickly. I think you should trade ADP and PThomas. Take ADP and go get a young RB like Stewart and a guy like SRice. Turn right around and sell Rice for a guy lilke Hicks and a pick, or something like that. 1 for 2s are good for you. You might be able to sneak in the playoffs and make some noise, then be better for 2011.

    Pierre Thomas

His injury history, big weight when evaluating his worth.

Do the Pats have any idea what they are doing?

Theyll sign 3 chris baker/alex smith types after the draft. They might draft one too. Im not worried about the TE position itself, but I am worried about the running game.

    PatteRn is Back!

I forgot how excellent it was to type PatteRn.

With the 22nd pick in draft the Patriots select.....

Guys, I am a Pats fan and I have posted in this thread. I am hoping your flame war doesn't kill it. So please lend me the courtesy of getting involved in a thread I am interested in, without your battle. Thanks.

With the 22nd pick in draft the Patriots select.....

I just hope BPA. My wishes: Don't select "Bethal Johnson" in the second, please trade down. Draft one RB. (Id like an early pick here, I dream of CMart every night) Load up on defense.

    Wilfork just wants financial security

Pats fan and happy to have him on our team. I have some questions though: Do the Pats plan on continuing to run the 3-4 primarily? Are there other nose tackles than can fill the position well enough? Does this position's weight level overshadow the long term investment? Can that $ be spent better? The Pat's return leverage is shrinking, but is that worth having him 1 more year?

just drafted out of the 10th spot

Harrison? I can't question anyone who doesn't question his value. yuck

So you have the #1 pick

Weirdo. AD has only played one year. He's a stud. Tomlinson is a stud too but he's getting old. Are you saying that you wouldn't take AD in the first round? Because if you are then who would you take at 10 or 12 over him? It's close in a redraft, it isn't close in a keeper.

Derek Anderson the real deal or one hit wonder

Ive got to choose between keeping him or McNabb. I think I am gonig DA. That team looks like it could be real strong.

    Javon Walker Update

Thugs = Shanny/Cutler Where was Favre when Javon needed him? twisted his ankle and fell down the back stairs landing in the street? 'caught cheating and beaten to hell?

    Chris Johnson

Impressive speed. Yes I like him, but I think Bennett is a very good example. Those holes he was running through might not be there though within the hash marks. The outside LBs will be faster as well not to mention schemes designed to make him prove he can run between the tackles. Face it the WRs don't scare anyone. If they can spread out the O enough he could be great. Can VY and Co. open up that space? That is the question.

    6 Team League Draft Strategy

Yep, good stuff and I almost agree with everything but I wouldn't value the TE so much. Remember quality TEs, AND quality WRs will be available all season. A Stud QB will be very valuable. Getting 1 stud RB will also be important. Getting a stud WR wont as all you have to do is outplay the other team's 3 WRs.

One guy you've never drafted but would love to

Just once Id like to have studs that perform in the playoffs. My team is always a powerhouse and I go down anyway. In my keeper leagues many guys are only available once. One guy Ive always wanted but either didnt need or couldnt get, Boldin. I'd like to root for him.

    FFToday Dynasty QB/RB Rankings

I think if you actually take into account "margin of error", which is very high in these of course, then it's actually OK or even expected to have some mathematical inequalities. This is why I like tiers. Do I really believe I can tell the difference between RB 21 and RB 22? Or even 10 and 11? I enjoy your rankings this early. The early ones can mean so much when separating strong owners. Your radar picks will make me research them more.

Adrian Peterson says he will break 2000 yards

His injury history is what not to overreact too. His numbers are not a fluke, he's that good and he's always been "that" good. I myself don't see the reason to underreact to "that". I believe he very well could get 2000. ADP2K
  23. ratbastard1

    Would you Make this deal?

Maroney and a second tier rook RB For a big 3 RB and Bradshaw The WRs are a wash I like the idea of getting that pick and hedging your gamble on pick 2. Keeping Bradshaw is also a no brainer. But, and there's always a but, you are giving up Maroney and getting a rook thats hopefully, well, Maroney. That pick and Bradshaw still isn't Maroney. He's a definate starter on a strong offense. Tough one. I'd say do it but for points this year you might lose. Trade value not withstanding I don't like the deal. You are trading possibly your best RB and possibly your only RB that has potential of being a #1 fantasy RB. Turner and Graham together aint going to get it done. Good Luck

Adrian Peterson says he will break 2000 yards

I don't really think he's a "roll of the dice". Compared to who? Everyone has risk. You wouldn't want him as a RB1? Where would you rank him? Bottom half of top ten? This guy's a stud worth top 3 in any draft, redraft or keeper or anything else. I think he's #1 but to rank him 4 or lower is just crazy.
  25. ratbastard1

Adrian Peterson says he will break 2000 yards

Didnt he achieve what he said he would last year? What do you want this exciting runner to say? "Um if I don't get injured and Chester doesnt take 1/2 my carries and Tavaris doesn't regress I'll go 1500 and 10." The kid believes in himself and so do I.
