Folks, Let's think for a second. Duckett is the best goalline back in the league. He converts some ridculous percentage over the years. Portis is one of the worst. With this shoulder injury, it would be near 99% chance that Duckett will now fill those duties. First you increase the chances of scoring on the short yardage run with Duckett 2nd you limit the wear and tear of goalline punishment. What don't you guys get?

First - They didn't just bring in Duckett as depth. If Portis was in good health or returning to good health there's no reason for this trade. They got Betts & Cartwright. So now they have Portis, Betts, Duckett & Cartwright? 2nd - Saunders had used a GL back in the past with Tony Richardson. It wasn't until Holmes & LJ went butt-wild the last 3 years. Gibbs have also used goalline backs in the past. So it could very well be possible. 3rd - there's no word that he is feeling better. this is pure speculation. In all, i think being cautious with portis is a MUST when there are healthly backs in first round. Why take the chance with your first pick! PORTIS = AVOID!

My league is $1000 dollars. It started out as 50 bucks 15 years ago. When i got on board it was at 200. Over the years it had steadily climb. Alot of the guys were heavy gamblers, but now with Fantasy Football and the $12,000 dollar prize that's all they do. The best part is, at the end of the season we have a huge gathering at a local bar and the winner pays the bill. Some owners will try to eat and drink their 1 Grand back. LOL!

The West Coast Offense is the worst offense for Vick to play in. He is not your 3 step drop back and dink and donk a pass. They need to bring Dan Reeves back and let him run loose like his first 2 years in the league. I completely disagree. Before Gates got to SD, Brees was a little unknown and on the verge of being run out of town. Gates is THAT good. He completely change the offense for the Chargers the last 2 years. I don't think Rivers need to be an all pro, but an average QB this season and Gates numbers would be comparable to last season. Every year i hear folks talk about depth in the TE position. Did you not see where most of the TE finish? There is Gates and then you have a slight drop off ( 3-3.5 points) in the next teir TE (shockey, heap). After that you have 1 TD a WEEK drop off!!! Clayton had a GREAT rookie year, to say he isn't worthy is hogwash. He can simply repeat his rookie season success and be a great compliment to a stud like Fitz. Back to Fitz, the guy is going to be a top 3 WR in the league for many years. A constant RedZone target and incredible hands and also playing in a friendly Dennies Green offense.

I've been saying this since last season. I was ridicule by all the FF rookies for making that call. If you watched yesterday's game, you'll see that JONES missed 2 blocking assignments and it seems like he is NOT finishing his runs. Barber looked great blocking, catching out of the backfield and FINISHING HIS RUNS! He is constantly fighting for that extrade inch! The guy is an EVERYDOWN BACK!!! A rarity in this league!

If you look at the starting lineup, you'll see that the RB position is key! I can't imagine SSmith, TO, CJohnson, THolt & Harrison will be gone. I have looked at my draft result the last 3 years and the MAX number of WR going after the first 2 rounds is 3. Last year only Moss & TO went in the 2nd with Holt and Harrison giong in early 3rd. Fitz will be there for me. On another note, some of you folks might want to pull out your draft results the last 3 years if you are playing with the same owners and get a feel what each team's usual strategies are. Always assume the teams in the playoff will draft the same way and teams that don't might mix it up. No doubt! I'll have the info up when it's complete. Any teams with the 2nd pick already done drafting? What are your results?

I'm that good. And when you are playing against the same owners for 10 years, you get a sense of what they will usually do on draft night. Madd, Gore made a gigantic leap this weekend. I think he will now be in the late 3rd and early 4th.

Have any of you been doing your homework? Of course they will come back up to me! I'm almost 99% sure TO, Holt, S. Smith & maybe Chad Johnson will go ahead of Fitz. He'll be there for me. A. Gates is that good in his position to warrant an early 3 round pick. He is almost a gurantee 3-6 point separation from the other TE on a weekly basis. In the late 2nd and 3rd round i have noticed a history of RB that just plan suck. 3rd round RB usually have a history of injuries and question marks, why take a chance on that when i can do it in round 4-7 this year?
