    UPDATED NEWS ON LJ!

Nan - It's 2 Cents' claim. I'd like 2 Cents to make the connection between big workload and freak ankle injury. Short of that, he's being appropriately called out for trying to prove his doom n' gloom predictions vindicated on this, and you're acting as his dutiful lackey. The rational position on this is that LJ got his foot trapped while going down, leading to an injury. Period.

    UPDATED NEWS ON LJ!

Beyond lame. If you think this proves any LJ doom n' gloomers right, you're a moron. Freak injury due to his foot getting pinned on a tackle. Go try and profess your "calls" somewhere that you won't get called out.

    Patrick Crayton---What Happened?!

Bingo. That clown might cost me a win this week. How do the Eagles leave TO (of ALL guys) open all day?! Crazy... Bottom line: TO double-coverage = Crayton time. But apparently, not everyone got the "double-team TO" memo.

    KU Jayhawks...BCS Bowl Bound?

KU would get crushed. It would be like USF when they started playing some real top 25 teams.

    Atlanta Falcons, Retarded? Discuss...

BINGO. He can't block well? SO WHAT - The reason I can say that is that *if* he could block well, would that be the answer? No - because more time for the QB is not going to solve problems. What will solve problems is having playmakers get the ball and make plays. You get the ball in the hands of your playmakers. In this case, ensure that you do the following: - Get "x" number of touches for Norwood, some in open space - Get "x" number of touches for Crumpler - Get "x" number of long throws to White or another WR Now if Norwood isn't blocking well: - Have an extra TE and/or FB in the game with him - Use plays that counter the dline's aggressiveness: Draws and Screen Passes - Have set plays where he gets the ball in space (Screens or Outs) with some room to create

    Adrian Peterson

You're counting ALL yards from scrimmage right? Since they all count from a fantasy perspective. If so, I'll take that bet at your price!

    Desmond Clark or Greg Olsen?

Yes. Often one, sometimes the other. As a Bears fan, you won't find one take the cake. They're a package, with Clark more consistent and more likely from up close, and Olsen relying on more big plays but also giving some big returns. You can't simplify it more than that.

    Packer Homers...

As a note, you should edit your post title to include Jennings' name so that people don't have to click on it to find out who the question is about. I'm interested in Jennings news as well-

Please stop the talk about LJ's schedule getting better.

I have him in a keeper, but knew PER THE SCHEDULE and other factors that it would be a rough start. Having survived that with LJ, I'm hoping to get more out of him in the 2nd half. He won't suck by year's end - I'll put a gentleman's bet on that.

A couple things. First, against SD last year: 132 and 2TDs and 84 and 0TDs. Way to cherry pick ONE of his matchups (the one AT KC). This year at SD: 137 and 0TDs. That beats the @SD performance last year. Second, that was a different JAX team in the final week of last season - they were missing the same players that were missing in week 1 when Tennessee TORCHED them on the ground. In the three games that JAX has played at full strength up front this year, they also held Denver to 50 and Atlanta to 80 yards. The thing is, we can all slice n dice the schedule all we want to support our own conclusions. I am NOT expecting LJ to get last year's numbers. However, the schedule IS a huge factor and I think he will perform like a steady RB1 the rest of the way. We will see which hypothesis is right eventually.

    Who goes #1 next year?

As of today: 1. LT 2. J Addai 3. R Brown 4. A Peterson 5. W Parker 6. S Jax 7. B Westbrook 8. F Gore 9. L Johnson 10. P Manning 11. W McGahee 12. R. Moss 13. T. Brady 14. S Alexander That's in my scoring system. I anticipate the bounce-backs for the guys that are suffering from brutal offenses and/or tons of carries last year (LT, LJ, SJax). I think SJax will show his ol' self towards the end of this year, and be drafted according to that potential again. I think Taylor will be out of MIN, leaving A Peterson the lone guy there to rock out.

The D is actually very good. I agree that teams are stacking against the run b/c they haven't respected the pass enough, and thus we saw the passing game steadily improve from CHI to MIN to SD, until hitting a JAX buzz saw. I think that passing game continues to improve with Croyle. The oline I also agree on - mediocre play thus far.

First, how does posting about this slow down people talking about it? Second, what part of the schedule argument is confusing or false in your opinion? The fact that we are at that very schedule turning point makes the schedule discussion that much more interesting. I have an idea for you - if you don't BUY the fact that his numbers will get much better and be RB1 numbers, argue that with your analysis.

    Larry Johnson

Good call. Sounds like either he's a slow starter to boot or he had a start to the schedule that was similar to this year. I'm worried about Croyle struggling (turning it over), and I'm worried about the # of carries last year. But the schedule, his talent, and the situation are all great. We'll see which factors win out soon. To date, he's pretty much done what many thought he'd do. Perhaps a little worse than I thought overall, but by very little.
