That is assuming you were in the Military. Me = yes. Army. And even though I was an E-6 at a point, I left as a Spec 4. I know most of you didn't serve but I'm sure a few did. Anybody attain Officer status. I'm thinking no. There's a chance one of you guys made to Sergeant First Class. So brag if you wish but tell the truth. *

The WORST King Kong movie EVER ! Maybe the worst movie of any kind ever.

Why not let em find something, even if just clues etc. Obviously it's not fully reality. Play with us. Give us a reason to keep watching paint dry.

Surprised that you guys who have never missed an episode didn't post about last night's find. They found a cross that looked like a Black Sabbath cross. They thought maybe from the 17th century. Turns out it was from 1200 years BC. That is the best thing they've found so far. I'm surprised it didn't have Trump's name on it.

None of these QBs were my team's QB. None I ever rooted for nor against. But I was thinking about systems and head coaches and such. Brady has run the same offense under the same genius head coach surely hall of famer Bill Belicheck, his entire career in Boston. Montana has had legendary hall of fame head coach Bill Walsh and his west coast offense all his super bowl San Fran years with only 1-2 in KC that were fizzelers. Manning on the other hand has played significantly in 2 different cities for 2 different teams under 4 different head coaches, none who are considered legendary nor genius. Maybe not even hall of fame. Manning pretty much was his own offensive coordinator. Is this something to consider in rating GQBOAT?

I made it through High School with a B average. Took Algebra, Geometry and even Trigonometry. Passed two years of a foreign Language and History, Geography and Government. Passed Public Speaking and Creative Writing. Also Economics. And of course Science, Chemistry and Biology. Three years of College (HMIM) with a 3.1 GPA. I even ran a successful business for many many years. But I just can't wrap my head around String Theory nor Dark Matter. Now I know there's quite a few geniuses here; I see it in all those Political 'discussions'. (yes, I'm kidding) But honestly, does anybody here really understand String Theory or Dark Matter? Enough to explain it in as few words as possible. I'm guessing the answer is no. Amirite?

Things kids brought to school in the 80s, today would get them expelled.

In the Third Grade at Christmas I received a Roy Rogers toy double gun and holster set. I not only took them to school, I wore them as a TV cowboy would. Off and on for several weeks. I remember several times when another kid in class would say something I didn't like and I'd pull out both toy guns, twirl em around like Roy Rogers, point them at the kid and yell 'stick em up'. Kids would laugh and the Teacher would too. How do you think that would go over nowadays? -
Words/Phrases that were common but are now offensive

I may have mentioned this here before but I was recently watching one of The Thin Man movies and William Powell said it. Now I realize those movies were circa 1930s but I was still somewhat surprised. I mean it was being said in regular life until Political Correctness became prevalent a few years ago but I was surprised to hear it in a popular Hollywood movie by an extremely popular actor. -
misbehavior by 3 females and using my position as thier boss to gain sexual pleasures. I'm not saying it was true but I'm not saying it wasn't. I went to them sans attorneys and asked what they wanted. To take me down .. or gain financial restitutions. They took the money. My lawyer drew up an agreement and a separate one with them saying I did nothing wrong AND they knew 'other women' who may come forward and they'd be not being truthful. So I'm good to go and it only cost me X amount of my holdings. I got a get out of jail free card for my past. Btw, I did not harm anyone. The women may have given it to me because I was their boss, but they did give it to me.

Ok, X# of years ago, I was accused of sexual

No, those 3 have admitted in writing that all is well and blah blah blah. Dates? No, I think it not prudent to date a female employee. The sex was spontaneous. Blah blah blah. All is well. -
You know what was revealing was when Hulk Hogan setting there saying Ric Flair was a hundred times the rassler he was. AND that Ric Flair participated in 200-300 one hour matches while Hogan participated in none.

I'm sure it's been discussed here before. Brad Meltzer did a piece on it back in 2013. Since then I've been interested in people's opinions because that's all there is. No one has audited the gold supply since 1974. No one person can say for sure the gold is there or not. I'm thinking most if not all of it is gone. So I'll say 90% or more is gone. Why do you need gold when you have the perception of gold. What say ye, old wise Geeks ? .

Actually, I have the #1 pick in a money league and I'm seriously considering taking LeVeon Bell. Two years ago my playoff opponent had David Johnson and DJ went off HUGE in a nationally televised game knocking me outta going to the Championship game. So, last year picking 2nd, I took DJ while the #1 pick was Ant Brown. Made the Championship gamr but lost. This year, I'm gonna take LBell at #1.

Several years ago a guy named Jack Pullman devised an NFL schedule whereby all info needed was on one page. Week #, time, place, everything. And all on one page. Since then I haven't found anything close to the one page document. Anybody know where I can retrieve a good NFL schedule with all info needed .. on as few pages as possible. Tia

I appreciate your help. But that's a lot of pages. I was hoping for something that had each week's games on separate pages.

Went to Walmart to buy a cross for my dog
phan a tic replied to RaiderHaters Revenge's topic in The Geek Club
Not really big on Crosses for grave markers. Or anything really. When my first two kids were growing up, we lost a couple of dogs and more cats than that. Also, a goat. What we did for grave markers was getting the biggest stone we could find and paint it all one color and let the kids put their hand print or initials on it. Then in gold colored paint we'd write the pets name. Then set it on the grave. After a time or two, we couldn't find appropriate large enough stones so I'd buy a good size rock each time at Luck Stone Company. Even though we don't live at that property anymore, those graves and rocks are still there in the wooded area beside the house. But you have to look for them. The brightly colored paint has faded or diminished altogether. -
