Brett Favre**1st today and last...DELETE ME PLZ***

Will he be better than Marino when he breaks his TD record? He's already got him on the ring. Favre haters are retarded.

Thomas Jones a Bronco - what would be his worth ?

Shanny will feature a back who's worthy. See Anderson, Gary, Davis, and Portis. It's very concievable that if he were to end up in Denver he could be top five. T.J. is so under appreciated.
  6. Dude, lets hold back on annointing him "Joey Hiesman" just yet, Joey's proven his inneptitude consistently for the past four years. Rodgers is backing up a hall of famer and hasn't so much as sniffed the field.

Packers' Kevin Barry out for the season?

He's a big manblocking mauler of a right tackle. I love the guy and he has a decent story being a seventh rounder from in the state, but let's get real. He was on the outside looking in. His skillset is limited. He wasn't going to play on the left side. He's an odd fit in the new system. He just didn't look to be a huge factor. Sorry to disappoint you swamp. He's a loss for us, like Big Daddy is a loss for the kittens. He's just not the right fit. The Pack is going with the youth movement anyways. Coston and Colledge will shine. Moll getting some work at tackle and Spitz backing up the guards and center spot. I'm not worried by this loss.
  8. Donald Driver vs. Peter Brown Driver has a real attitude. Chip on his shoulder. I love it.

    How do nfl teams travel?

I don't know if they have private team owned jets or if the charter them. I do know when the visiting team comes to Green Bay, they stay at a Hotel in Appleton which is a good half hour from Lambeau Field. I've seen them board a pair of chartered buses to head off to the game.

Ernie Sims on being drafted by the Lions

If you like the linebackers, you'll love their wide receivers.

    Words of Brett Favre

I was almost a little embarassed to discover that Favre had more INTs than Joey Heisman had wins in his tenure with the Lions, but then I remembered he also has more touchdowns in his worst year than Joey has wins in his career and that made me giggle a bit. When Scott Mitchell brings back memories of the good old days... never mind... this is too easy...

    Words of Brett Favre

Favre had 14 winning seasons, 3 mvp's and a lombardi trophy. That's 14, 3 and 1 less than Favre for Joey. ouch! (*rimshot*) :loses 24 straight on the road: *infamy's a ######*

    Words of Brett Favre

The longball was never Favre's strongest suit. All Favre needs is the threat of the longball to be most successful. 15 yards over the middle between three defenders on a rope is what Favre made his name on, not dropping the ball into a basket 40 yards out. He's just not that kind of QB. Favres strengths make him one of the best WCO quarterbacks of all time. Put Favre in a situation of drop back and throw to a Corey Bradford fly pattern and Favre becomes surprisingly pedestrian. Getting back to true WCO and high percentage passing spells good things for Favre. I smell another probowl in his future.

    Packers WRs

Jennings kind of sounds like D-Jax to me. I'll take it.
  17. He falls in a pile of turds, comes out smelling like a rose. Could it have gone any better for him? I can't imagine a better scenario.

Ingle Martin - Fit's the mold of exactly what the Pack seem to be looking for. Quick release, can avoid the blitz, smart guy, can make plays on the move, etc. I love that this team seems to have a clear sense of direction. They are laser focused on a type of player for each position, they are building with character guys, and they are taking players that really grade out well. When the Shermanator drafted, I never had a sense of what they were looking for in a player or what direction he was taking the team. Consequently, it seemed they never laid out a clear direction for the team. As a fan, this has been a great weekend in that we've been able to get a crystaline picture of what this team is going to be in the coming years. A simple solid foundation for success is being built. A simple solid foundation that is easily communicated to all concerned. The competition for spots on this team is going to be fierce and it will be all the better for it. With the exception of Favre, I get the feeling that no position guaranteed. This is a new attitude. I love it. This really is pretty fun to watch.

Clayton's a loser. The fact that we meet with Clayton's disapproval should be an indicator of good things for this draft class. I don't know why, but I've always had an unnatural hatred towards John Clayton, the weasely little bugger.

I liked the early trades, but damn. In the sixth round, aren't you almost rolling the dice? Seems like you lose alot of flexibility when it comes to day two. TT has been stellar today IMO so it's hard to knock the move, but it would have been nice to select there. I guess, you only drop 9 spots. Probably worth that. I don't know. It's been a long day.
