2.5 Daunte Culpepper, QB, Vikings For Diesel07
-
I knew I wouldn't get Edge. I was 90% sure I'd get the 10th guy on my draft board, the only quesiton was who was that guy going to be. I feel "ok" with the Davis pick. I'll be happy as long as he outperforms Green who I had initially put at that spot. Anyone else I won't feel bad, so many choices, all about the same IMO when weighing risk/reward. Yeah, tough spot no doubt. 15 running backs in two very distinct tiers yet nearly impossible to rank within their tiers. Drafting at the beginning of those tiers is not comfortable. I could have taken several different combinations than the one I did and had the same confidence I feel with Taylor/Lewis. I am still surprised I didn't catch a break with Harrison or Owens before me.

Okay, I edited the list idea out. PIK tells me RLLD typically checks in these parts pretty early in the morning. I too am off to bed. Just so you all understand why I tried so hard today. I really would like to see this get back to t.j's 4th rounder somehow tomorrow. So if you're reading this, keep that in mind. I do understand we started unexpectedly, and we have a drunk vacationing on some Korean beach out there but I think he'll be checking in tomorrow. Diesel if RLLD picks before I wake, and I get online before you, then I will post your pick. Thanks for the efforts so far, and God please bless Fred Taylor with health and success! Amen.

Damn! Maybe Fred Barnett or Herman Moore?
-
GOOD! Now I don't have to make that choice....now if someone would only take Randy Moss before my next pick... HAH i was hoping for the same Actually, I'm hoping to get him at 3.12.

I cannot say how I feel until I turn the corner between three and four. I doubt I've ever looked at so many options and studied so many mocks in my life.
-
And there go the receivers.
-
Second time I've been asked today. This is and always will be a redraft. I'll update the format and rules thread in a few minutes and provide answers to some other questions...
-
2.01 Jamal Lewis, RB, Ravens
-
Yeah, I'll open the round two thread in five minutes... really in debate here over a couple guys and a future pick ramifications. Thank God this isn't exactly live.
-
Those of you who know from season's past, know I love Taylor's potential. He was the no brainer for me here, but his downside has me contemplating the round two opener. BRB.
-
1.12 Fred (2000 yds) Taylor, RB, Jags Lord be gentle with him this year!
-
In the round by round draft threads do not post comments. Post your pick, IN ORDER, using the format in the first three posts I'm adding below. Of course, if you make the pick yourself, you do not have to add, "for me". Round 1 1.1----LaDanian Tomlinson Rhody T-Run (PIK95) 1.2----Priest Holmes SweetLeaf Vaporizors (FourTwoOh) 1.3----Ricky Williams Shark Jumpers (t.j) 1.4----Clinton Portis Crankshaft Grinders (Sisters of No Mercy) 1.5----Deuce McAllister Scurvy Mongrel Dogs (teddyt) 1.6----Shaun Alexander Tenacious D (Tusekan Raiders) 1.7----Marshall Faulk Seeker of Truth (lord13rahl) 1.8----Travis Henry Stuart Scott (Diesel07) 1.9----Edgerrin James Scorgasms (Ray Lewis's Limo Driver) 1.10---Stephen Davis Shark Jumpers (t.j) 1.11---Ahman Green Peerless Prices (Ayatollah) 1.12---Fred Taylor Prozac Attack (Zap)

Wow. I'm on the clock and it's most unexpected all wrs are there. I'll keep this rolling, but... I have to use the throne with my mocks and cheatsheets to make a decision I may regret...
-
t.j actually experienced a fantasy "moment of clarity" on an airplane and emailed the Davis pick to me.
-
t.j would have taken Edge had you not. I actually predicted he would get him in our email, and I am happy he didn't, because of the potential he would have had in Ricky/Edge. So thanks. In regards to his 1.10 = SD He'll never send me a list again wink j/k, he's comfortable as can be expected with this choice.
-
1.10 Stephen Davis, RB Panthers For t.j/Shark Jumpers
-
I'll buy.
-
TR, I have Alexander in my two other leagues this year and I got him 1.07 both times. I'm pleased with him there because I have a hard time separating that group, but I tend to nudge Shaun up a little. However, in a couple mocks I've done, I haven't hesitated to take Marshall. He's become a risk/reward pick.

1.3 Ricky Williams, RB, Dolphins For t.j
-
1.1 LaDainty Tomlinson, RB, Chargers For PIK
